Haven’t been here for a while. My bad! Excellent service and fresh tasty food. I had a burger — half pound of deliciousness — with the Sante Fe Taters as a side, roasted quartered potatoes with grilled onions, peppers, and jalapeño slices(I would recommend). My wife had the Sante Fe grilled chicken breast that came covered in grilled onions, mushrooms and a slice of bacon. It also came with two sides… She had rice and steamed veggies — she’s a calorie counter — that she says was very flavorful. No need to order appetizers as roasted in the shell peanuts and hot fresh yeast rolls come free. A definite go to for an enjoyable delightful and tasty dinner. We’ll be back!

Just your typical steak house. My steak was tough and over done. And the potato was cold. Priced to high for what it was.

Get a four stars for going out of their way for my granddaughter’s birthday. They have yummy hamburgers and baked potato Aries. I reviewed it before. But Ben though it has gone downhill and lost that Louisiana flavor it get my kudos for making a good time

I came here about 3 days ago for a pre-wedding meal with the whole wedding party. I showed up a little late in the game so everyone was basically done. I had the large margarita on the rocks only. The waitress never brought me a menu even though I was sitting there for over 30 minutes. She knew that I had just arrived too, that’s the crazy part! Common sense should have alerted her, «Oh hey, that girl just showed up! Maybe I should get her a sodding menu so she can order some damn food so that the bill will be higher and I will get a larger tip!» Nope, that thought did not cross her mind lol. So instead I only had the huge margarita with barely any alcohol in it(let down again) and I took a bite of my brothers slider. The slider was pretty tastey but again, it would have been really great to have been able to get myself something… Next time I visit Lawton, I will be avoiding this place like the plague. Thanks slacking waitress!

1.) Dirty Utensils 2.) Served stunk like cigarette smoke. 3.) Women’s bathroom smelled horrible and not like someone took a dump. Like the sewer system was backing up. 4.) Chips and Dip appetizer was good. 5.) Rolls and Cinnamon butter was the only great thing we ate. 6.) Husbands sirloin was over cooked and not season what so ever. He ate 1⁄3 of it and went back to the chips and dip. 7.) The chicken in my pasta was over cooked and tough. 8.) Husbands drink was never refilled. 9) Place needs a good cleaning. Never again.

Overpriced for what I got. First time here in 4 years, last time it was just okay. This time: Went there on a weeknight at 5pm sharp. Sat at the bar, ordered ribeye with sides and a salad. I had to ask for the bread. It took awhile, but he finally brought the bread and salad at the same time. About 2 – 3 minutes later the steak showed up. I hadn’t even put a dent in the bread and was not even halfway through the salad. Salad was fine. Bread was mediocre. Steak was poor quality, lots of meat glue, minimal flavor. I kept spitting pieces I couldn’t chew onto the plate. Bad service, bad food, won’t go back. Outback is across the street, Texas Roadhouse is down the block, both of those are better.

Let me tell you a joke. It has been my favorite joke since childhood, and telling it makes me laugh every time. I realize that not everyone will laugh, but it is my FAVORITE joke. «What is the difference between an orange? Nothing, because dogs don’t like ice cream.» No? Not quite your speed? How about this one, which I love almost as much. «How many surrealists does it take to change a lightbulb? Fish.» Sigh…well, at least I tried. I figured my favorite jokes were a great way to begin this review, because last night I was able to live inside a very similar joke. It was just as amusing from the inside as it was in my head. The waitress asked my husband what type of food he liked. Him: Asian cuisine. Waitress:(Blank stare.) Him: But, that doesn’t apply here. Waitress: Right, ‘cuz we don’t have Mexican food here. Him:(Blank stare). (True story! His review is here– ) The night never did get better, but I will forever think of this waitress as the embodiment of not only my favorite joke, but also this very odd restaurant. Just a few weeks ago we stopped in for a leisurely lunch. The service was perfectly on target, our food was tasty(if a bit on the greasy side) and my family left happy. This second trip contained every possible restaurant slip up one could hope to avoid. It leaves me wanting to return someday for lunch, and never again for dinner. My only tip is for Joe Bob, the manager.(Yup, Joe Bob. He says he is the only one with that name working there, go figure.) When a customer waves at you, please assume that they are trying to get your attention due to something having to do with your restaurant, and not just waving hello. We waved at him from across the room, including a «come here, please» gesture with a full arm, and he smiled, waved hello, and went back to his conversation. My guess is that he had decided they’d lost us as repeat customers and he was talking to a person he could count on to return. The other ratings for this place mention both amazing and abysmal service, and good enough to awful food. If I were to learn that this restaurant was created and is run by a group of absurdist playwrights stuck in Lawton and desperate for entertainment, I would simply smile and nod, happy to be in on the joke.

Sadly worst service we have had here. We had a server in training and that was fine but ran into trouble from a glass of water on. Ordered fajitas for two got no where near two. We ordered a burger rare came out so over done that we complained. The manager that we waved over continued to talk to someone else for 5 minutes. When he did come over he took the burger and the request for rare. It still comes back over done. It was the cooks not the server but still frustrating.

Steakhouse Waitress: What kind of food do you like? Me: Asian cuisine. Steakhouse Waitress:(Blank stare.) Me: But, that doesn’t apply here. Steakhouse Waitress: Right, ‘cuz we don’t have Mexican food here. Me:(Blank stare). This is a ONE and a half star review. The family and I really enjoyed our first experience here. Things seem to change though, and wow did they. Our waitress, complete with the above quote, was the best part of our experience. The first person she tried to take an order from asked if she could come back to her after she had taken everyone else’s order. She did! Sorta. The waitress took everyone’s order and then left. She didn’t just leave our immediate area, she left the dining floor. When she came back and was told that she had skipped someone, she said, «Oh! Are you ready to order now?» The orders were placed and the adventure truly had begun: — Water glasses: Refills for water are free, if you get them. The glasses stayed empty for at least half the meal. — Flatware: Four adults + One set of flatware to share. The waitress seemed a bit surprised when we asked that everyone have a set of flatware. — Food: Things just continued to get worse and worse. The fajita for two plate came out. This thing was sizzling hot. YAY! The plate had flying, popping, burning grease… that you passed right by my wife’s face. OW!!! Yep, a bit of a splatter on my wife’s blouse and face. The kitchen had put an undersized portion on the large plate. The cooks seem to be attempting to pass off the regular fajita for the larger fajita for two. Didn’t work. For those of you that like your burger prepared rare, please do not order one here. The rare burger was well done. Thankfully the manager was near by. We sent someone to get his attention and waved for him to come over to our table. He waved back. WHAT? Eventually he came over, and when told about the burger, and seeing for himself, he admitted that there was an issue with the burger. He immediately offered to replace it. The next burger was not well done, it was medium well. The ribs were good for the area. I have noticed that restaurants around here enjoy a barbeque sauce that packs a lot of flavor. Unfortunately, Santa Fe follows this trend by having tasty sauce and bland, tasteless meat. Tender meat, true. Completely without flavor. Sigh. We will give it one more try. Who knows, maybe it will even be not awful.

Had the chicken quesadilla today at lunch. The chicken was tough, the flour tortilla was dry and old. Asked for queso which was about the equivalent of cheese sauce that is served at a movie theater. The rolls and cinnamon butter were delicious but that’s the only thing that was.

We used to love coming here to eat. But the past few years service and food has been terrible. Hubby got a death burger and it was so full of grease he couldnt even eat it. He had a pile of it on the plate from it pouring out as he tried to eat. I ordered the big«a» salad. Which used to actually be big. Also ordered it with crispy chicken and got grilled. Idk how its possible but they also messed up the kids meals. No kind of compensation was offered. Kind of a too bad so sad deal… will not be returning.

Steaks are good and worth trying. Salads are retarded gross because for some reason everybody in oklahoma thinks salads doused in dressing is good. Ask for dressing on the side or separate unless you want it floating in unhealthy liquids

Came here on a recommendation from someone I know. The food was great, but the restaurant was kinda noisy. Maybe that’s to be expected at a steak house? I ordered the five course meal with appetizers, am never doing that again! Next time I will stick to just the entrée, I was beyond stuffed by the end of the night! But it was all so good. For the appetizer I had the sampler: mozzarella sticks, chicken wings and taquitos. They were supposed to be chicken taquitos, but they were mostly bean with just a little bit of chicken. And I’m not sure how the chicken wings were, they were out of those, so it got subbed for one sausage link. It was delicious! The skin was crispy and it was so flavorful. The five course meal was the rolls and peanuts, a loaded baked potato, salad and bacon cheddar soup, a 6oz steak and a dessert(cheesecake). Everything was wonderfully flavored and each course was brought out in a timely manner. My waitress was kind of forgetful. It was the weekend and they were very busy, so I’m not complaining too much. I just know I’m going to remember that when I think about them. Great overall and might go back eventually.

Not bad for a steakhouse. Good food, big portions, great service. Good thing about this place compared to other steakhouses around its that they are open during lunch unlike the others that don’t open until dinner.

Took my wife for lunch today and the service was ok. My wife’s food was good but my burger was over cooked. I wanted it medium and it came out well done and dry. Our initial waiter was great in the beginning but we hardly saw him after the appetizer came out. Another waiter gave us refills and served our entrees.

I was visiting my friend in Oklahoma for her birthday weekend, and she took me to this lovely place(I hope you can feel the sarcasm) on April 21st, 2013. We chose to go here to try and avoid the crowds at the other restaurants. We walk in and were seated promptly, and that’s where the service ended. I was there with my friend, her husband, and their three children. We waited, waited some more, and some more for our waiter/waitress to come over and take our drink orders. After about 20 minutes a guy came over and asked if we have been helped. We told him no, he said he wasn’t out waiter but he could take our drink orders and that he would be right back. After waiting for about another 15 minutes we decided to leave. The guy never came back and nobody else even took a peek at our section. We went to Texas Roadhouse and had an delicious meal with no waiting and excellent service. I hope the Santa Fe Cattle Co gets their act together or I have a feeling they won’t be in business for much longer.

I have only been here once, but i was extremely disappointed Pros– PEANUTS Cheap drinks really nice servers Cons– The food was awful. Mind you i shouldnt have ordered the fajitas, but they were terrible. Im not a food critic, i like almost everything put in front of me, especially tex-mex, but by god these were freaking horrible Im sure if i had ordered the ribs, this place would be getting at least ¾ stars, but holy crap the fajitas here suck
