Outback Steakhouse

Absolutely fabulous! As soon as we sat down at the bar, Amanda (main bar tender) remembered us from over a month ago! We love the atmosphere and staff at this particular outback. My spouse loves the chicken fried steak, which is always perfect, and I love the loaded sweet potatoes! Delicious every time!

Excellent food. Prime rib was to perfection. The smokehouse mac & cheese was wonderful as well.
Kind of a slow night on Sunday. So it was quiet.
We were seated next to some obnoxious drunkards, but that can happen anywhere you go.
Great experience overall.

Four stars for the customer service. Ordered a ribeye cooked medium rare with loaded baked potato. The manager brings my steak and potato out. She said to me «before you even cut that I can tell it’s more on the well done side. I’ve already had the cook start you another steak but didn’t want you to wait. So if you want you can munch on this one and your correct steak will be out in just moments». True to her word the next steak arrives cooked to perfection with another loaded potato to boot. Good catch on her part!

Just ate there with my wife had prime rib was good music just a little load.

We went back a 2^nd time an sat down an waited 15 min for a waiter an then left an went to a different place (Santa Fe) an we was served fast an they took good care of us ! We will never go back to outback !

Always great service, always great food, time between one course and the next always timed perfectly. A hundred times better than that Santa Fe place across the street. Outback may be a chain restaurant, but they’re consistently great.

The best steak in Lawton!

One of the most consistently good out backs I frequent. Tara is awesome but she only works Tuesday nights.

One of the best things about Outback Steakhouse is they are ALWAYS consistently great. We eat here regularly and they staff and management are always right on point. The food is always good. We love Outback Steakhouse.

My family and I went there for their sirloin and lobster tail. It was awesome. Food and Service were excellent. We went to red lobster 2 weeks ago for their lobster feast. It was terrible but Outback definitely reassured me that lobster is amazing. Everything was cooked perfectly and it tasted great. The waitress and manager were very attentive and everyone was very friendly. We will be adding this to our place of favorites in Lawton.

Update is no change. Food was terrible. Manager comped us but we left hungry and had to spend $$$ on movie theater food 1) we were hungry 2) so we didn’t miss the movie going somewhere else to eat.
My steak was way undercooked and very salty. I asked for medium and got burned on one side, barely cooked on the other side and raw in the middle. I did take a bite or two but only because we were starving and in a little bit of a hurry to make the movie in time but I just could not finish the rest of the nasty thing. The crab cakes smelled so bad we didn’t try them. My wife’s CF steak was burned inedible with gravy so thick and old on it that it just sat there like thick brown mashed potato’s.
Two stars because the service was great and the manager was proffesional and did comp us. I know i said it before, last March that we would not be back but i really wanted this place to change and thought givin all the bad reviews and 8 months maybe they had improved… not. We will not be back.

They can’t cook a steak. They can’t get an order right. The waitresses were screwing up everyones order on every table in the restaurant. Horrible service. How rude for the waitress to stand at your table while you are trying to decide whether she earned a tip or not. In fact, she made more trips to pick up the check than she did to check on our table when the food arrived. Will not be back period.

Edit — I bumped my review up to a 4 star because compared to the rest of what is on offer in Lawton, this place shines.

I have a soft spot for Outback Steakhouse so of course I had to visit one during my trip to Lawton. Located somewhat on the edge of town, but along a major thoroughfare, the Outback is hard to miss with its standard massive side.
The interior was the same as every other Outback you have ever seen. Still, it was clean and we were seated quickly. The server was attentive and brought me a refill without even asking.
Our cheese fries were over done such that the cheese was kind of crispy on top. Also, my burger was sort of over cooked and dry.
The service was fine and the patrons seemed happy, but I have to take them down a star for the incorrectly cooked fries and less than stellar burger. Other items that were ordered during the meal was fine.
