Ruby Tuesday

Somehow Ruby Tuesday’s has managed to keep me coming back by means of a mere salad bar. I know this sounds silly, but there are days when I have a relentless hankering for a Ruby Tuesday salad. This may not be the world’s friendliest staffed restaurant, but so far I haven’t had any major run-in’s with them.

Went here for lunch, split a burger with my wife and got the salad bar.
Great salad bar! Plenty of toppings to choose from. The broccoli salad it’s one of my favorite things at the bar.
The burger showed up and wad conveniently split in the kitchen for us, seasoned well and tasted great.

Great service! Just took a group of 12 adults + kids in about 20 minutes before closing, and received no complaint (a breath of fresh air, as we had just been treated terrible at another restaurant for coming in 30 minutes before closing). The food was great, the staff was friendly and the service was fast. 2 thumbs up!

Salad bar great! Food great! But you Have To Ask for the before dinner biscuits.

Food and service was excellent. Salad bar was filled with fresh produce. Place was packed full and that didn’t effect food quality or service

Waiter didn’t offer great service. He didn’t even check to see how we were on drinks and napkins. We had to ask and stop him. Not great service even when we first arrived. Hostess wasn’t available, she was too busy hanging out on the bar area instead of greeting guests especially when it wasn’t even busy.

Not good. I don’t know when Ruby Tuesday decided to try to be a high-​end restaurant, but they should go back to their day job. The BBQ Chicken flatbread was so overcooked that the sauce was dried into the crust and the cheese had hardened. The chicken was basically jerky. Only ate one slice. Ordered a Buffalo chicken tender appetizer for my son along with the garden bar and he received the $ 10 adult dinner along with the adult fee for the salad bar. Seriously? He’s 7. Didn’t catch it until we got the bill and we were out of luck then. For four kids and two adults our bill was nearly $ 100. The two adults got water and salad bars. Go figure. Nowhere near worth that price. I can go eat at a much nicer sit-​down restaurant with much better quality food and spend less than $ 100. The service was mundane, nothing special. We were blatantly gawked at by many staff and customers alike – maybe it was obvious that we aren’t from Lake City (thank God) but seriously, show some manners and restraint, people. Suffice it to say, we will not be eating here again. I’m iffy on the Gainesville location too at this point but we’ll give them a chance. Hopefully their food is better. Giving two stars because the croutons on the salad bar are still amazing, my daughter raved over her delicious burger and my mom loved her cocktail. Not enough to make it worth stopping for, though. Just don’t.

We order the tempura green beans and most of the breading had fallen off. This made them greasy.

What ever happened to the salad bar that Ruby Tuesday was so popular.
If it’s salad you’re hungry for, do yourself a favor (don’t lose your appetite) and look elsewhere. Totally substandard quality!

Broccoli was over Steamed, You could’ve matched it into mashed broccoli with the fork at your table.
I ordered Caribbean chicken with coconut shrimp, Underneath the coconut batter the shrimp was practically raw.

Next time I’ll definitely stick to the hamburger menu.

Menu is poorly executed. Food is the same as other places, but here they mastered the ability to make it taste bad. I would not recommend this place. I’m glad it is not near my home.

Great food. The service was shockingly good. Had ribs for the first time here, pretty good for a chain. The service again better than many high dollar places I have eaten.

Good food, but they got my order wrong twice and got my husband’s order wrong. That was frustrating, but the food was good.

I have only been to a few of their locations, as I usually do not go to chain restaurants like this, and this one was my least favorite of their locations so far.
On a Monday night with very few people there it took a very long time for our food to come out and the salad bar ran out of several items and they were never restocked. The service was pretty good and the food was not bad, but overall I think they could do better.
