Decided to celebrate, we reserved 2 hours in advance. They made us wait 15 minutes for a table. Then waited 10 more minutes before asking what we would like to drink and for appetizers. Another 15 minutes we get our drinks with our appetizers. Main course was delivered quickly, albeit not what was expected. Meager is what i would say when compared to cost. 2 oysters on half shell were old and dried. The snow craw was small, and looked like they had been sotting for a while, did not refill our drinks until we were ready to go. Did not offer refills, the hostess were not friendly, i will not be going back indefinitely

While visiting my parents, they kept going on about how much they loved this particular R.L. location. After driving about half an hour from my hometown and dealing with atrocious drivers/retail associates, we finally scooted over to the restaurant to have dinner. I was prepared for the bad service we had been experiencing all day but our hostess and our waiter were amazing. To begin, my Dad had to ask a million questions about the tank lobsters(he didn’t even end up getting one) as we walked in. The hostess was very knowledgeable and more than happy to provide a million answers. When we sat down we were gretting by an enthusiastically goofy waiter. He constantly has us cracking smiles/chuckling and he provided very excellent service(I think he got a 40−50% tip). The food was delicious; I ordered the fish and chips with a Cesar salad. The fish was flaky and succulent and it makes my mouth water thinking about it now. This was my first trip to a Red Lobster and it certainly won’t be my last!

Just had an absolutely terrible experience. I came in with a fairly large group of friends around 9:30 on Sunday night(closing time is 10:00). I walked in and told the hostess that we would have 12 adults and 5 kids. She replies«oh my, they’re going to love this» and walks to the back to talk to someone. A few minutes later, the manager walks out and says that they are getting the tables ready. I told him that if they could not take a group this size at this time that we could go somewhere else. However, he assured me that it was no problem and said«if you came in 2 minutes before closing that would be perfectly fine as well». After a few minutes, we were seated. The hostess tells us that they are only using a few more tables for the rest of the night, so she had to split up the group. Meanwhile, the staff are all staring at us as we sit down and making us feel very unwelcome. Finally, after sitting down, the hostess comes to our table and says«just to let you know, the rest of your group better be here by 10:00, because we’re going to lock the door and they won’t be able to get in». Our group was going to be there well before 10:00(it was about 9:38 by this time), but we decided to leave and go somewhere that wanted our business. As we were getting up to leave, one of the waitresses said«Yes! They’re leaving!» within ear shot of us. I have never been treated like this at any type of business… it was absolutely inexcusable! We ended up going to Ruby Tuesday(which closes at the same exact time), and they provided us with phenomenal service! I would have understood a little if we had brought in a group that size 5 minutes before closing, but come on…30 minutes before closing?
