Stefano’s Golden Baked Hams

Today I went in for a ham and Swiss sandwich, very disappointed for a $ 9.75, no side, no drink. Thinking for the price it would of been a damn good sandwich, it sure was not. Fell apart in my hands and just ended up eating the meat, and still hungry. Should of just saved the money and gone to subway. Being Born and raised in Laguna hills and haven’t been in the area in a while, my first thought was I need golden baked hams, what a disappointment

Very fresh food and super nice people who work there. You can tell that the owners really care about the food, atmosphere and customer service.
I had a tasty Caprese salad with a good quality olive oil and lots of freshly chopped basil (yum!). Husband had the turkey, avocado and bacon sandwich; lots of meat, bacon perfectly crispy — everything was very fresh and delicious!
Already planning my next lunch meal there!

The food at Stefano’s is fantastic. It’s always fresh and the staff is great. I eat at Stefano’s multiple times when I am in town.

Our son and daughter-​in-​law have raved about Stefano’s in Yorba Linda for years and now we have one close to us in Laguna Hills! Stefano’s serves Lobster Rolls every Friday during lent and we couldn’t wait to try them this week! My husband and I went for a late lunch and ordered one hot and one cold lobster roll to share. You’ll have to decide whether you like the hot or the cold the best! The lobster was so fresh and succulent — absolutely fantastic. We also tried out some side salads and dessert. Also fabulous. They have a great selection of local craft beer — one of my favorite brewers is Bootleggers in Fullerton and they had one of their special releases on tap.
The food is amazing, but so are the people. We had a wonderful visit with owner Frank Stefano who shared with us the company’s involvement in their communities and how networking and word of mouth has consistently helped grow their business over the years. We felt like we were visiting a long time friend.
They also cater and provide holiday meal packages — we’ll certainly be taking advantage of those services!
Can’t wait to start trying out other menu items and look forward to enjoying our new found favorite restaurant!

You gotta try the Romeo Panini sandwich with tri-​tip. We really like the menu here. They have some nice choices of craft beer. Relaxing low key atmosphere. Highly recommended. We’re gonna try their Sat –Sun breakfast next.

Our favorite place to go! We do a family dinner on Fridays or a great place to have meetings. Also we do cater a lot of our parties with their awesome sandwiches and salads. When we have dinner some of our favorites are the Salmon sandwich, meatloaf sandwich, tomato bisque and paleo salad. They always have fresh food and the service is unbeatable. This location is bigger than the YL location and a wonderful place to have a glass of wine or beer and relax !!:-)

Stopped in for lunch by chance because we were passing through the area. Happened to be their soft opening weekend.
Hubby was in the car with the sleeping kids so we were just going to get take out, but they woke up before the food was ready– so we opted to dine in. Owner was so sweet– he was sitting out front and he even offered to bring the food out to the car for us because of the kids.
Hubby had the pastrami panini– delicious! I was open to suggestions — so the owner’s daughter (such a sweetheart, but I’m sorry I forgot her name!) suggested I get their burg-​ini and substitute their tri-​tip for the burger patty. Oh it was soo good. It has the perfect blend of meat, crunch from the bacon, creaminess from the sauce and avocado to balance out, and just enough spiciness to finish it. My hubby was quite jealous, so we traded halves. :)
Also had the kale Brussels sprout salad. Nice balance of sweet and savory– refreshing.
Hubby had a bottle of one of the local made beers they have available. Great selection of local beers to choose from to expand your malt drinking pleasures.
Located just off the 5 freeway on Alicia parkway behind the chevron station. Place is clean, inviting, and some tables outside as well. Great, friendly service!
Sandwiches about $ 9-​$ 12. Hearty portions, very tasty.
Check in and get an offer for the iced coffee. Super strong, yet tasty– so be prepared for a dose of caffeine!
Love supporting small, family, local businesses. Will definitely return here, or the original Yorba Linda location if in the area.

My family has been going to the Stefano’s in Yorba Linda since it opened. We are so happy this location opened up closer to us! Awesome family run business with great food and friendly service. Try their paninis — they are all tasty and you get a lot of food.
They just started happy hour M-​F 4−7pm; $ 2 off beer, $ 4 off bottles of wine, and $ 2 off paninis.
Go check it out. Your tummy will thank you.

A former baked ham location, this place recently reopened at Stefano’s Golden Baked Hams. I love a good baked ham, so I thought I’d check it out. When you walk in, there are shelves of different products for sale such as preserves and soup and dip mixes.
There is a counter in back to order ham and menu items to go or eat in the dining area of the store. The menu has several items to choose from such as sandwiches, wraps, paninis, salads, desserts, etc. There are refrigerated cases that sell salads to go by the pound, also.
There are plenty of tables and chairs to enjoy your sandwich inside. Tables were decorated with cute succulents.
A nice touch.
Looking over the menu, it was not a hard choice for me. I decided on the meatloaf sandwich. I have a million recipes at home for making meatloaf. I LOVE meatloaf and try to order whenever I see on a menu. OK, when this magnificent sandwich was brought out to my table, I lifted the plate and thought, OMG. how much does this thing weigh? It was loaded with juicy slices of delectable meatloaf, cheese, bacon (yes, bacon and it is not overkill), french fried onions, chipotle mayo and pickles. All of this was between absolutely delicious rye bread. It was glorious.
I also decided to order a ¼ lb of their Greek salad on the side. This was refreshing and light and a nice side to my sandwich.
We also decided to try a panini and ordered the Romeo Panini. This had dry-​aged tri-​tip, carmelized onions, Provolone and aioli. This was rich and flavorful and all the ingredients made for a delicious panini.
Staff could not be nicer here. They gave us a lot of great suggestions and were really friendly. Not only is this a great place to pick up a sandwich, salad or wrap to go or eat in the store, but it is also nice to have another alternative to have another option when wanting to order a baked ham for dinner or during the holidays

Okay,… just realized they have Stumptown Cold Brew ON TAP!!! This changes everything! 6 stars :)

I have bought hams here for years a, d they are fabulous. I bought one for New Years and there was an issue. I called on Monday to tell them about it and Priscilla. She was so nice. I went in this afternoon and they just took care of me. Awesome customer service and I will continue to buy hams there for years.

Excellent, fast service, I had the tomato soup and the Bur Gini, plenty and you can taste the flavors worth every penny. Will be back often. Their ham is awesome, probably the best of the best.

Went downhill a bit with the new owners. Only reason to still go at all is Jose, the old owner (now managing, apparently).
Looks a lot nicer with the remodel, in exchange you get worse paninis at a much more expensive price. Some ingredients have obviously changed as well, for the worse, like pickles and honey mustard.
Staff was a lot more friendly and family like before.

Delicious Panini I’m having today! I ordered the Rueben Panini, no onion. Made perfectly, crunch to my toasted sandwich, cheese melted and pastrami is warm too.
I can’t believe I’m going to eat the whole sandwich but today is cheat day. oh well worth the calories!

My husband and I decided to try Stefano’s because he noticed the location was still open and appeared to sell sandwiches. We had no idea that they continue to bake their hams and turkey. When we walked in we noticed that the dining area has been updated and cleaned up. We walked in and were warmly greeted by the girls at the counter. Samples for their turkey and ham were laid out and their case was stocked with cranberry sauce, gravy, and a variety of salads. The items looked fresh and appealing. The menu has a great variety of sandwiches. We ordered the two types of soup on the daily menu, a tortellini salad from the case, and a turkey cranberry sandwich. The soups were both wonderful. We particularly loved the sandwich because when we asked for light mayo and light cream cheese, they did exactly that and avoided slathering the two all over the sandwich. We could still taste the turkey and cranberry while enjoying crisp lettuce and soft (not soggy) bread. I’m excited to have a new and fresh sandwich place in our area.

I’ve been trying to not just give away 5 stars but I just couldn’t reason with myself to give this place a 4 star rating. They’re awesome!
The place is clean. The staff is super friendly and constantly check on you to see how you’re doing and if you like the food. There’s plenty of options from party platters to individual sit down meals. The restaurant has mainly salads, sandwiches, and panines for lunch.
They even have a PALEO salad! How awesome is that?! It was delicious. It was made of very tender tri tip meat and avocado over a bed of fresh spinach and red onions, topped with a zingy vinaigrette. My grandpa got the meatball sandwich which was also great. Practically melts in your mouth.
Great place to check out and was definitely worth my 30 min drive.

Sandwiches are the best! People who work here are awesome. Forget TOGOs this place blows it away. Perfect for a quick Lunch. And they still have your Holiday Ham n Turkey

I’ve been going to Golden Baked Hams for 15+ years. The sandwiches and hams and soups were always great! Now that it’s Stefano’s the food is just as good with some new salad options that I really like! The staff here is the best. The remodel was greatly needed, but it is a little less homey than before. They could add some better seating on the patio. That being said, I’ll keep coming back for the food and nice people.

Best sandwich in town. Fell in love with this place a couple of months ago. Will always come back to try something new.

Fabulous! The tomato bisque is delicious! We had the Uncle Carmine’s Italian panini, it was the best! The cheesecake was creamy & mouthwatering
