ToGo’s needs a lesson in efficiency. I never liked the layout of how ToGo’s does their sandwiches.(Subway’s got that down, but they probably don’t want to copy them) Parking is a breeze and you wait until a sandwich artist can take your order. There are some pre-created options so you have stuff to choose from(at least a base to start your order). You can get sandwiches, salads and soups. I chose the half sandwich with chips and drink. I deliberated and decided on the turkey and cheese on sourdough. My bread didn’t taste like sourdough, more like white. So my artist started making my sandwich in front of me, then moved all the way to the left so I was yelling my choices. She never asked what I wanted, I had to tell her to leave off tomatoes or extra mustard. The menu board had no listing of what cheese options were, so I had to wait until she asked another co-worker what my choices were. I don’t like a ton of meat in my sandwiches and I didn’t have the opportunity to tell her that as she was making it without asking me. I never got verification of what she made until I bit into my sandwich. Then after making it, there is one cash register and she had someone else ring up my order. I ordered a fountain drink and she forgot to give me my cup. It just didn’t make any sense to take another person away from another customer to ring up MY order. The going back and forth(no flow) and shouting across the store really turned me off. I probably won’t be back.

While the sandwiches and salads are tasty here, the portions are tiny and just too pricey for what you get. I usually go with the half sandwich, half salad combo to get the best of both worlds and have enjoyed almost all of the varieties in the past, I still leave a bit hungry, making this a better place for lunch than dinner and more of a light bite. Service is hit or miss, food can take awhile to come out. Location is clean, but simple in décor, nothing special. Tastier than Subway and other chains, just not quite as filling.

Great sandwiches and friendly staff. I have a Togo’s more close to me but i drive the extra 5 minutes to this location because I feel it’s definitely worth it. Prices are great and you always get a lot of meat in your sandwiches unlike Subway.

I’m giving 3 stars because my sandwich was delicious but the girl who helped me was rude if she hadn’t been so rude I would have given 5 stars. When I walked in she didn’t say«hello, how may I help you?» she nodded her head at me like what do you want, so I ordered my sandwhich but she didn’t ask if I wanted mayo or mustard or what veggies she just started putting turkey and avocado on bread so I had to ask her to please put mayo on it and when I did she just looked at me after that it must of been time for the veggies and she was just looking at me like what do you want on it, it was really awkward. I wanted soup but was afraid to ask. I don’t come here often but when I’m craving a sandwhich at 8:00 at night I come here and it’s always delicious but this girl ruined it for me. She had no name tag on or else I would of put her name in this review she was a short Hispanic girl with glasses I was tempted to ask her name but she probably would of just looked at me. The whole experience was awkward and I felt like I was inconveniencing her. Besides rude girl my sandwhich was good but I’ll probably go to the one closer to my house next time they only reason I didn’t is because they were closed already.

Its been years since I’ve been to Togos since there are less locations and they dont advertise. I was quite happy! the food was really good I was quite impressed with the portions especially the mountain of meat that on the sandwich, it was like triple that of subway!!! lots of guacamole falling out of the sandwich! tried the turkey and gauc, also shared ham and cheese sandwich, bread bowl was good soup really good! makes subway look like crap! I like as much as Jersey Mikes but its almost half the price! they have daily specials for $ 5.50 which includes drink, chips 50 cent extra. portions are good, flavor good, prices are fare! there 9inch sandwich has more mass than a subway footlong! and every bit had meat flavor and not just bread like subway! Eat here, forget subway! over price Jersey Mikes, «Not best sandwich I ever had, but quite satisfied for the flavor and price! maybe a tadd more salt but you can always add that yourself.»

I rarely go to togos. …as soon I walked in i was greeted by a Hispanic male, the customer service was amazing… he made me a Italian sandwich that was amazing… he was full of different options on how he thought I might enjoy the sandwich. …long story short a little what I liked and a little what he liked… end result was fantastic I would definitely go back to togos in Laguna hills the sitting area was clean roomy and big and on the plus side they had a tv to watch as you eat… I was very happy with my visit

I’ve been there a few times,(the last time being yesterday) and I thought I would write something positive about their customer service. Acknowledging someone when they walk in is a lost art. Plus he didn’t call me «sir» he called me «Boss»

The customer service here is amazing! I always feel welcomed when I come in & the owner always greets me. The sandwiches are amazing as well. My favorite is their pastrami or their turkey avocado. Their sandwiches are good sizes for their prices!

Loved the vegetarian wrap! I got it vegan — style(sans feta) and thought it was exceptional. I had a coupon to get a free sandwich with another sandwich and it turned out that it was for the Irvine location. The manager approved it and accepted it anyway! I thought this was very gracious because he totally didn’t have ro; I think he realized it was an honest mistake on my part(I can’t read fine print well). Everything was fresh, delicious and clean. A very good experience even if they hadn’t accepted my coupon!

This is your average Togo’s franchise restaurant. Food is typical quality. The employees seem a little friendlier at this location in comparison to others. I’m taking away a star because the trash can situation is a little weird. To avoid customers throwing away the baskets, they have created a really small hole in the top of the trash can to discard trash. It’s so small, that it is somewhat hard to slide your trash in. Also, I think this is one of the locations that does not have napkins readily available at the tables.

I am not from this area but we were shooting down here and we were running over schedule so I needed to feed 20 people quickly. I called this Togo’s on the fly and to see if I could drop a catering order in their laps. They said YES! All of their competitors would have said no or given major attitude. Not these guys! They were pleasant on the phone, made a recommendation for special dietary needs and were ready in 20 minutes! When I picked up they had everything ready to go. My crew was very happy they had fresh and yummy sandwiches. My experience with this Togo’s was awesome!

An issue the better half and I have been running into lately is the lack of new restaurants to try in our neck of the woods. Mission Viejo has many great qualities, being a mecca for restaurants is not among them. So when dinner time rolled around the other evening and the food in the frig was not looking particularly appealing(just some mold that might have been cheese at one time and some brown leaves that may have resembled lettuce a few months ago) … the hunt for some place to eat started. My wife remembered we had recently received a Togo’s coupon in a mailer, it was a reasonably close destination and although not new … some place we hadn’t been in a significant period of time. Rohlinism: Every guy has looked into their refrigerator at least once in their life and played the«What did that used to be?» game! FYI — Before Laina reads this and gets irritated … our refrigerator has no mold or brown lettuce residing inside it. In 1967, Togo’s Eateries, Inc. opened its first location in downtown San Jose. At the time, the sandwich shop was so small, only four people could fit inside at a time and the sign out front read«Sandwiches To Go»(thus the eventual name Togo’s). A college student bought the shop in 1971 and Togo’s was acquired by Dunkin’ Brands in 1997. From 1997 to 2007, Togo’s were often combined with Dunkin’ Donuts or Baskin Robbins, with some shops combined with Dunkin’ Donuts being renamed Dunkin’ Delis. In 2007, Togo’s was purchased by Mainsail Partners with the former president of Baskin Robbins, Tony Gioia, serving as chairman and CEO. Togo’s offers over 20 different sandwiches(hot and cold), 4 types of bread, 6 condiments and 5 toppings. They have Regular(with a 20 oz. drink), Large(with a 32 oz. drink) and Choose Any 2(between a Half Sandwich, Half Salad and Soup) Combo. They offer salads in both bowl and wrap form and offer 7 different dressings. They offer a Broccoli Cheddar Soup and a few other flavors which vary by location. For snacks and sweets, Togo’s has a good selection of chips, a few cookies and a brownie. Their catering menu offers Sandwich Trays, Salads(which can feed up to 30 people), Party Trays and Boxed Lunches. This location currently offers a free 20 oz. drink with purchase when you check in on Unilocal. On this occasion we had a coupon for BOGO free regular sandwich with the additional purchase of two 20 oz. drinks. I decided to order 2 regular Italian sandwiches( ) with Mortadella, Capicolla, Cotto, Salami and Provolone Cheese. In addition, I added Lettuce, Tomato, Red Onion and Pickles and had them made on the Parmesan Cheese Bread(and I made some oinking noises while ordering). My better half ordered the Hot Pastrami( ) on Classic White with Mustard and Onions. Only thing I didn’t particularly like is the condiments and toppings are placed at the far right end of the counter. This becomes an issue if more than one person is being helped because for anyone not standing at the right end of the counter, it is hard to see what is being put on(or left off) your sandwich. I prefer Subway’s set up of having all the condiments and toppings in the middle so everyone has an equal vantage point. I also thought the selection of topping is very limited compared to Subway. Togo’s does have their bread brought in fresh everyday and their bread is wider, so you are getting a larger sandwich by volume than you are at a Subway. It also means you are consuming more carbs, if you are concerned about such things. When I arrived home with the sandwiches, all of them were prepared as requested. Laina commented the Pastrami was good and less fatty than other sandwich shops and the bread was very good. I enjoyed my sandwiches as well, but I really didn’t think the quality of meat was any better than other shops. The service was friendly and efficient. When I told them there were no more regular lids, someone came out from the counter immediately and replaced them. I can see us returning in the future if we are in the mood for a quick sandwich.

The last time I was here I forgot to use my Unilocal check-in offer. Oh well. Prices are still reasonable even if I don’t get the free drink. This location can get busy around lunch time. Even with the lunch crowd, the interior was reasonably well-kept.

I try to find good sandwich shops for lunch and I think this is the best one in Laguna Hills. Their tuna is so much better then subway’s mush. It’s real tuna that you can see and the blend of ingredients is fantastic!!! I rate them 5 star!!!

This is the Togo’s I go to when my conscience screams at me for going through the Wendy’s drive through next door AGAIN. It says«NoooooO! Check out that Togo’s over there; you actually like the turkey cranberry sandwich.» Ok so I head in and lo and behold they are offering a check in offer of a free drink and chips with a sandwich order. Cha ching. My sandwich was well made and didn’t take forever like some other locations I have been to. Redeeming the offer was easy and I even had a little chat with Sam, the owner. Quality Togos franchise.

I was craving something«fresh» so I thought about getting their Asian Chicken Salad since my friend raved about it. I did that, but instead of just the salad alone I decided to put it in a wheat wrap. The wrap was fairly large(like a large sized burrito size), and it was very tasteful! The Asian Chicken Salad was great. Crunch from the chow mein noodles, juicy cold chicken, an Asian slaw type mixture of lettuce, carrots, and cabbage, and the usual Asian Chicken dressing. As for Togo’s menu, everything looks more creative compared to Subway. Subway’s menu is dull compared to Togo’s. You do pay a premium because of this, but I won’t say either is better. It’s just more variety for sandwich lovers.

I worked with a guy who would eat a Pastrami Sub from Togo’s at least 3x’s a week! You could not interrupt him, or ask about a file while he was salivating over this Sub. I wanted to know what was so great about it? He said, next time he goes he will buy me one. He actually sent me to pick it up. He told me only get the Sandwiches: NO drinks, chips, combo, not even a cookie! The service was fast & I Politely turned down the COMBO offer.(even tho it was a good deal) I purchased my own drink. Got back to the office, went to my desk and kno one could interrupt me, while I was Salivating over this Sub! by far the BEST Pastrami Eva! thanks B
