My fiancé and I frequently visit for great food, live music, and a good beer selection! Our favorites are the duck egg rolls and the New Yorker.

Went for lunch and sat on the patio on a beautiful fall day. I had the Duck BLT which was delicious and the sweet potato fries which stayed nice and crisp. Our server was friendly. Food was a little slow coming out so if you have a short lunch hour, it might be too slow. The menu had some interesting looking choices.

Burgers were huge and tasty! Atmosphere was really quaint. Lighting used antique pulleys and other industrial items. Onion rings were the size of donuts. Overall, a very pleasant experience.

Small venue which makes it perfect for us. We’ve been to Digby’s probably a half dozen times since it opened, and have enjoyed ourselves immensely each time. We love the food, the atmosphere, the people. We’ve heard BIG music in that small venue. We’ve enjoyed on more than one occasion, several wonderfully energetic bartenders and servers. We’ve always left full, warm, and happy.

The service was excellent. The drinks were great. The buyers were HUGE and juicy. I recommend getting the 1⁄3 ones, because they 2⁄3 were almost too much to handle. The patio has a really lovely atmosphere too, with gorgeous lights and lots of shrubs. It was a really nice place for a date but I would also feel comfortable with a group of people there. Overall, a really nice experience.

No draft beer! The bottle they brought me was warm. My wife ordered the Black and Bleu salad and margarita. The margarita was unsalted and possibly the first attempt ever for the bartender. They brought her a salad with several ingredients that weren’t on the menu description for this particular item. One of the extra ingredients were candied nuts to which she is allergic. Upon notifying the waitress she told us they can’t predict her allergy. I have a prediction we won’t be back and you won’t be around long.

Can you DIGIT? I can dig it! Hooray for Digby’s. This is my favorite hot new place to hang out in this area! Digby’s replaced Avidity. The patio is used. A deck was built outside rapidly. Also, they serve a Duck BLT that is incredible. Lafayette officially has Duck? Score! If you don’t want a meal, try an appetizer. I love«cheese bricks» and go here to meet up with friends for appetizers, meals, drink, and socializing. This is the spot. Digby’s nailed it. Downtown Lafayette all seems to get to know each other in the small business world, but Knickerbocker, Professor Joes, and Digby’s I have been told have the same owner. Whether that is the word in the hood or fact matters not. The water glasses are logos all three places(surprise every time). Knickerbocker for a classy martini at the oldest bar in the state of Indiana, professor joes pizzeria for sports television and a beer, and Digby’s certainly has its own place in this town. Proudly posted established in 2015 on the inside back wall and I hope this business is here to stay. This IS the hidden gem the 30’s have brought me to and I have waited for. I am sure they will do great with awesome full drink menus, food and appetizers served until last call of the night. Yes, a place to drink, eat a meal or appetizer(full menu!) open until the end! I think they close at 3:00 and serve food until 2:30 last call. Thank you Digby’s. You are all that I waited for. We graduate. We grow up. We outgrow«drinking» 2 – 3 nights a week with the 21 year olds on campus party style. So we cross the Wabash River over the lovely Pedestrian Bridge once we outgrow campus and stretch our alumni status low key on campus as long as we can before becoming the old fart that has to work in the morning. There isn’t much for the 30’s here. You provide it all. This place is so chillax, inside and out. I have loved the patio late night in the summer. Rain? Just head on inside! I recommend: — Wednesday ½ off bottle of wine. — Duck BLT w/Mac and Cheese side. — Cheese Bricks appetizer(I thought I got 6 chicken drumsticks the first time. They are huge. Fried cheese? These call me here and the sauce is amazing to dip! Please keep these on your menu! It’s better than any state fair or cheese stick anywhere in the world. — Business lunch for the professionals at Purdue — Casual lunch/dinner/late night eats & drinks with friends. They are OPEN and not fast food! — Just chilling somewhere with friends inside or out for drinks. I absolutely LOVE Digby’s. My waitress is often the same one and is the best. The food has never disappointed me. The prices are above campus junk, but correct and perfectly acceptable exactly for the market downtown. What a perfect addition to this small town! Without Purdue, Lafayette/West Lafayette is small. Support small business you love, because many of my faves close since college kids can’t afford it. Ugh. Digby’s is hot hot hot and new. Digby’s will succeed. There is just something for everyone here. So impressed. Somewhere to go, at ANY late hour, and have food, alcohol, and friends. Food = 5+(the burgers are even farmer market stuff weekly, but I love the cheese bricks and sometimes when starving for a meal the duck BLT is my favorite!) Service = 5 Atmosphere = 5 Life is a garden, so dig it! I dig DIGBY’S! I recommend for anyone that has partied themselves out at Purdue and had to become an adult now down town. This is the best new hangout around! Cheers!

Had heard a great deal about Digby’s and so having some free time on a Friday at 5:00 pm thought I’d give it a whirl. Sorry to say the experience did not live up to the chatter. Here are the cons. 1. No beer list: The drink menu looked like a coffee table book and the waitress said they had a great brew selection but she couldn’t tell me what my possible selections were. 2. «Sophomoric Service»: No beer list, no worries. I ask the server if a few mainstream brands were available. Finding out that they’re not I kept tracking more and more to the center of the stream and settle for a good olé Sam Adams Boston Lager which was served under chilled. When I order a second and ask that it be colder than the first the servers smugly informs me that«they just stocked the cooler this morning and so the brew isn’t cold yet. So she brings me the second Sam and assures me that it «came from the back of the cooler» and as Raugupatis, the Slavic God of fermentation and hospitality, is my witness, it’s just as tepid as the first. Seriously, my home fridge can cool off cases of long necks by 5:00 pm and Digby’s, which on this fine Friday at beginning of a weekend on the very front edge of the beginning of a Purdue academic year, can’t. My advice to to is either get a cooler that works or a server who is familiar with the concept of customer service. Until you straighten this out you’re going to lose business as folks who want their beverage wishes respected and their smug answers from Fox News go elsewhere. OK, here are the pros. 1. Nice patio with a great view the architectural wedding cake that is the Tippecanoe County courthouse. A minor suggestion to enhance this pro, find a better location for your sign. It blocks the view. 2. Decent onion rings. The spicy batter and Grey Poupon dip were delicious.

I have been meaning to try Digby’s ever since they opened but have been too busy to stop in until this evening. I tried the black and blue burger and it was suburb! Can’t wait to try something else! Plus they’re open for lunch as well!

We didn’t eat here, but did sit on their patio for a couple of hours and enjoy a few beers from their better-than-average selection. They had a few I had never heard of before, which is always a surprise. The staff was very friendly, from the waitress to the manager who was outside glad-handing the patrons and asking how everything was going. The food that was walked by us to other tables looked pretty good, to the extent that I regretted that we had gone somewhere else for dinner already. We will come back some time and try some of the burgers, which were huge and had some interesting augmentations, per the menu. It seems like the kind of place that is selling itself on the setting — nice big patio right across from the courthouse, but with enough privacy you don’t feel like you’re sitting in the middle of the sidewalk. The menu is not overly large, but it looked like they were doing the things they had competently.

Tried it last night on a lark, and holy cow I was impressed. I had the duck eggrolls which were quite tasty, and the New Yorker whose pastrami and corned beef did not disappoint. The German Potato salad was also quite tasty and definitely a step up on the other game to be had down town. I also must give a shout out to the bartender who made an EXCELLENT Old Fashioned that made me quite happy.

Digby’s replaced the Avidity and made the patio a much more open area with more seating, so that’s a plus. They also redid the inside, which was a major necessity. It no longer looks like a creepy dungeon. Another plus is that there are multiple vegetarian options on the menu. Apart from vegetarian, burgers, or apps there are only a handful of other food options and they’re pretty adventurous. As a «conservative» eater I ordered a chicken caesar salad — always a safe bet, right? The salad was portioned like a side salad and the chicken was bland, but it cost $ 11.50. Way overpriced! I definitely won’t come here hungry again.

Velveeta cheese should never be a part of any menu item of a restaurant that wants to present itself as a hip downtown scene. Their hot fries came with Velveeta cheese and a store bought bottled hot sauce for 7 dollars. Over priced for something where the fries weren’t cut to order, the cheese was processed, and the hot sauce was from a bottle, and heated in a microwave.
