I don’t mind waiting for good food, but this wasn’t worth it. The place is so crowded that people coming in to be seated are hanging over the tables as they walk by … having someone’s butt in my face as they squeeze by is not appealing while I am eating. I ordered eggs over-medium … one was hard and the other runny. One side of my sausage links was crispy and the other raw. Same with my hash browns. The thin slice of ham on my husband’s breakfast plate was better suited for a sandwich. We eat out often and enjoy finding new local fare. I almost never complain, as I’m pretty easy going about food, and have never submitted a bad review here. This is certainly the exception.

Followed the reviews here for breakfast. Small, clean, cozy, located within a strip mall parking lot. Hubby wanted corned beef hash. He asked if it was homemade and was told yes. Came with two eggs, hash browns and toast. I ordered a ham, cheddar and mushroom omelet. Came with hash browns and toast. First, corned beef hash. Looked and tasted like canned. We asked again and were told it was made from scratch. Don’t think so. Omelet was good, decent amount of fillings, not generous. A bit chintzy with the hash browns on both plates. Service was excellent. We both left still a little bit hungry. Probably won’t go back.

Hhhmmm, I want to give them 4 stars because the dishes were fresh, inventive and tasty. It bothers me beyond end though how the waitress declared the high fructose«syrup» was actually«real». Bless her heart that she did not know the difference, but to not offer a small bottle of the good stuff for an extra charge, really just turned me off. Additionally, after eating breakfast at the Cracker Barrel this week and having a huge mound of whipped butter to slather freely on my pancakes in comparison to trying to fork lift the tiny slabs of butter compacted into those little plastic butter containers sitting on the table out onto my French Toast, really bummed me out. This place offers nice specials and was absolutely packed. But, honestly, I’m headed back to Cracker Barrel when I want my carbs. Maybe I’ll return to Sonrise for any egg dishes.

An excellent breakfast, lunch eatery! Clean, friendly and reasonable prices will have you returning to try their many selections! I never leave there hungry! Sometimes crowded, but worth the wait! They turn the tables over quickly!

Great breakfast, lunch restaurant! The menu offers many choices, plus they have some offerings of their own. We enjoyed lunch there today. The grilled cheese with bacon, lettuce and tomato was delicious! My wife had the corned beef on pumpernickle, with lettuce and tomato! The coffee was very good too! Reasonable prices, and fast, courteous service! All lunches come with a side dishes too!

I ordered the eggs florentine because I don’t eat meat. It came out with bacon on it. I asked if I could get it with no bacon. The cook scraped off the bacon and sent it back.
