Good food, over priced sweet tea $ 2.45 for a 6oz. Glass seems a little pricy no matter how many refills you get. Probably cost them 10 cents.

The best place for breakfast! The waitresses are very friendly, the food is prepared the way you request and it’s always served hot and quickly. Coffee is good too. .. #1 priority! Doesn’t disappoint.

Hubby loves their country potatoes! Cheesy and with onions! French toast is also very good. Not open for dinner. Service is always great!

We were in town this past weekend for Bike Fest — a party of 8 — happened to be riding by on a Sunday around noon and stopped in. We figured the parking lot was full so it had to be good! We were greeted quickly and seated immediately. They had a near full dining room. Food came out fast, fresh, hot and delicious! Coffee and drinks quickly refilled. Everyone was so friendly! Restaurant was clean, restrooms were clean. We will be back here next year for sure!

Great breakfast diner. Blah décor but Very attentive staff. Very popular with the Senior crowd. It gets packed after 9a on Sunday morn. Last time hubby got a Denver omelet with home fries that was excellent and huge. This visit we got the crepes filled with apples and blueberries with loads of whipped cream. Yummmmmy!

I have been going here to Billy’s Café for about 2 years. It seems like the customer who pays the bill does not matter anymore!!! 1st bad experience was about a month ago. I went in on a Sunday which is Breakfast only. Now I made a mistake I tried to order a regular sandwich. So the server corrected me and said I can not have that item. Not but 5 minutes later the older customer next to me ordered the same thing I wanted. Bang .She tells the lady let me ask the chef for you and she gets her meal Again which was not supposed to be served on a SUNDAY!!! 2nd bad experience was just this past Sunday. Brought my parents in like I usually do and Just rude and did not care. Like again my money was not the same as everyone else’s. Service was bad. Just no one seems to care about the customer there anymore. My mom who can not eat onions asked if there was anything she could get different. The server said only Grits(we are from the north(not)) or Hash browns with onions. She did not offer up any other suggestions. As a server you should know your menu and help the customer get the next item over with the Corned beef hash or something different. And to add we also needed ketchup and the server took about 10 minutes. so my mom got up and asked the lady who was not using it if she could use it. Hmm mom doing her job.(no tip) Thanks I have to say I have had enough and will never go back. I also found out my Neighbor who used to be a regular is having the same problems and stopped going to Billy’s about a year ago. I will make sure everyone I know, knows how bad the service is and not recommend Billy’s Café.

While not the flashiest place. You probably won’t be disappointed. From walking in the door I felt like I had been here 100 times. Staff was warm and friendly. Laughed and joked(server was a Gator fan and from Michigan. I’m from Ohio and love FSU) so we poked fun. Great food, great people and an overall fun experience.

Average. How hard is it to do an average breakfast? Not very hard. How hard is it to do a great one? Suggest you go to First Watch to have one because Billy’s doesn’t deliver. I had an omelet which was overpriced. Taste was OK– nothing memorable. Biscuit was small. Service was lacking & not friendly. Ambiance was dull. It looked as though they have an emphasis on pancakes & waffles but I avoid carbs for the most part.

Typical diner. Gives you that good grimy diner feel. Most dishes are under $ 8 – 10 and they’re made quick. The only problem is if you’re going to run a diner, it should feel/look like a diner. This place is like an abandoned dental office that someone converted into a makeshift Dennys. Put some money back into the business and your ratings will go up.

This place is ok. Service was great. We had omelets, blueberry pancakes, eggs, sausage and country potatoes. It was all pretty good. We would return.

Billy’s is refilling their Heinz ketchup and Log Cabin syrup bottles to the extent that the labels are looking several years old. The ketchup has a sour taste that is probably from being refilled over the years. No more for us.

First thing… make sure you sign in! The sweet little Asian lady that seats you is all business with that one. They have Mickey pancakes for kids! I had a feta omlette with Bacon and home fries. Delicious! Home fries were big yummy chunks of crispy potatoes. Very simple, very good. Not for high maintenance diners. Will definitely be back.

Billy’s Café has fast and pleasant service and a very convenient location on Hwy 441 in Lady Lake. We were seated quickly upon arrival, and our breakfast order was delivered very quickly. My Feta Omelet was good(they were generous with the Feta), but could have been much better if the heat had been reduced, and the omelet cooked slower so the outside of our omelets wasn’t a bit ‘brown’ and the eggs weren’t overcooked. A dry and boring biscuit(not hot) was served with our meals. If a restaurant is going to serve breakfast and biscuits, for goodness sake serve good, hot and fresh biscuits … or just take them off the menu and serve dried out toast! It wouldn’t take much for Billy’s to start receiving ‘more stars.’ They do serve butter and/or margarine, which to me is a plus. Presentation of some of their crepes and pancakes looks delicious! I hope Billy’s discovers the internet, reads their reviews, and ‘steps up to the plate!’ If we had enjoyed good biscuits, this would have been a 3-star review.

I went to Billy’s Café twice in hopes of one of those real«home cooked», down home restaurants. The prior reviewer is correct… mediocre at best. Go to a chain restaurant, you will do just as well. This place is nothing special.

Billy’s has a circle of friends that essentially, keep the doors open. Billy’s reputation doesn’t extend past their front door… meaning the food, décor and service aren’t anything to take home. Portion sizes, especially on their omelets, are very large. Prices are fair and service is good. So, whats the problem? The pancakes are what I call«cakey»…a dough-sponge that’ll soak up enough colored corn syrup(they don’t have real maple syrup) to fire up the commodities market… Bacon and side meats like sausages are overdone and greasy from being«banked» on the grill… hash browns are not only the supplier-provided frozen variety but usually burnt up(for the same reason as bacon). The grits are instant and have the consistency of wallpaper paste. Billy’s Café is long on location and long on the tooth… give him a pass
