The food ia good, the restaurant is not maintained and kind of an eye sore. The food is substancial, really good. Especially the potatoes!!! MUSTGET! I love ordering for my families dinner and I have ordered for parties. Its a bit pricey but its always worth it.

I love Juan Pollo my husband brought some home when he was at this location. I called my daughter in Texas and she said I wish they had one here. I posted the picture on Facebook and yes this chicken is better then Pollo Loco!

I thought that they closed at 9:30pm. So I got there at 9:23pm and the lights say open. Hmmmm… let’s give this a try. I open the door and the lady says«sorry closed». Oh well, it’s a sign to not eat there.

I love chicken whether it’s grilled, fried, or charbroiled! This place is amazing, the chicken is juicy and very tasty, they have a really good price for the food quality. They have a tiny parking lot, and they also have a small dine in area. The staff was nice and helpful. I would definitely recommend this place it’s delicious!

Ok, so I am a fan of the food, but there is 1 specific employee«Pollo Princess» as I adoringly call her who is just NOTNICE! I never dine in, she doesn’t handle my food, she just has attitude when taking your order. It’s actually almost comical. Would have given them 5 stars, BUT Pollo Princess is killing their perfect rating.

If I could give minus stars I would, drive 20 – 30 to make it before they closed from another Juan pollo since they had closed already. Made with with 10 minutes to spare. Didn’t offer any service. Not great costumer service. Don’t come here! I even called to say I was almost outside. Made me waste my gas. I even called before coming, should have told me they were closed before 9:30pm even tho that’s their closing time 9:30. Not cool.

I like their chicken beans and salsa. I get the mini pam that comes with a whole chicken, 3 sides, saksa, and tortillas. I leave the tortillas and get all 3 sides of beans. Gives me my protein and tastes good. The only thing I don’t like is that they charge extra for salsa(sometimes). I’m not sure why you only get one thing of salsa with a whole chicken. I ordered 3 chickens and a large beans, with 30 flour tortillas and they gave me 3 salsas. I asked for more salsa and they charged me .50 per extra salsa(not the cashier, she was the one processing the food orders) When I said that’s fine and I would pay for it, the lady gave me more attitude. I didn’t quite understand that one but maybe she was just having a bad day. There were a lot of people in there. It took awhile to order but my food came quickly on my most recent visit. I would go back, mainly because it is right next to my gym. The cashier has always been nice. Another time I asked for extra salsa and they gave it to me. I like consistency.. . They haven’t gave that too me yet, but it does meet my diet requirements.. .

Chicken is excellent! Potato salad is great! However, minus one star because the staff can be rude and needs some major customer service training. Also the restaurant is way overdue for a complete remodel.

Love the food here. But I can not say the same about the workers. I have been there before the closing time only to find they closed early. Had numerous arguments with the workers about the hours posted. Not worth the hassle.

Been awhile since we came here for Chicken and this time no line, no wait, no fuss! It was Tuesday so they had a special $ 1 off their 2 chickens combo for $ 14.99. Came with tortilla and salsa. I added pollo rice and it was GOOD! A MUSTTRY! Very flavorful and there’s more chicken! I’m gonna try their potato salad next time. I’ll close one eye on the non organic potato part.

Best fast food chicken I’ve ever had. Period. Minus one-star because they only take debit card and they charge .69 cents. Lame. Still my favorite fast food chicken!

I love chicken. I love this place. My family and I ordered two chickens. They’re juicy and seasoned perfectly. I was very pleased. But I usually always am with these restaurants. I took it to go so I can’t really give a review on the full experience but I hope you have a good one.

OMG $ 6.49 for a «lunch special». Not too special for THAT price. Still have the two tacos for $ 1.99 Guess the price of chicken is going up! Not going to frequent this place anymore too expensive

Love chicken? Love potato salad? Juan Pollo is the place for you. They have amazing chicken that tastes way better than the unhealthy fried chicken you stuff yourself with and potato salad that is honestly out of this WORLD good! On Tuesdays, they have a buy one box get another box of chicken free. It’s pretty hard to beat that deal so I’ll just give you a moment to soak that all in… Their potato salad is SOGOOD. Get a XL size potato salad and eat it with everything you have at home. It is the best I’ve had in my whole life, and I’ve had my fair share of potato salads from just about everywhere. It is flavorful and light, with a bit of green oinions, carrots and black olives. Sounds a bit unusual but trust me, its amazing. Not your traditional potato salad, but who wants to be like everyone else anyway? Homemade salsa is where it’s at. I love their mild and hot salsa. The workers here are awesome. They’re really nice and know my family since we come here so often. The only thing I don’t like about this place is that their restaurant seating area isn’t the best. I always take-out anyway so it isn’t a big deal.

How many chickens does it take to enjoy a hearty meal? Just JUAN. I don’t really understand the popularity of El Pollo Loco when you have a place like Juan Pollo. I discovered this chain about two years ago and I think it just puts other rotisserie style chicken chains to shame. The secret is eating it right at the restaurant, when it’s hot and fresh. Whereas, I normally avoid the skin at other places, I choose to eat it here. The only other chicken skin I like is Pioneer Chicken. What’s even more crazy is that the owner is Japanese — Albert Okura. With his buddy Armando Parra, he started the flagship store from Ontario in 1984. What you’re eating is rotisserie broiled Mexican style chicken. Let’s look at the facts. 1. The quality of the chicken is good, with the size of the bird being no more than 3 pounds. 2. Their custom gas cookers are designed to prepare the fowl slowly, producing a tender, juicy, and moist chicken. 3 hours total cooking time to be exact. 3. The temperature of the gas fired burners are so hot, that even the bones are burned. My co-worker Hong T. chews and eats the bone like a hard cookie. 4. Natural juices and special seasoning are sealed inside, due to the marinade and their unique cooking technique. Every chicken is marinated overnight before cooking and all of the menu items are prepared fresh from scratch each day. THESPECIALS * ¼ Chicken($ 4.49) — Breast & Wing(white meat). Sides include rice, beans, salsa, and corn or flour tortilla. * Lunch Special($ 6.49) — 2 piece chicken. Sides includes potato salad, rice, salsa, corn or flour tortilla. Includes medium fountain drink. All white meat add 50 cents. I don’t know how they make their sides, but their rice and potato salad are FANTASTIC. You have to try it. It really compliments the chicken well. Really consider catering your next party or office lunch cause once people discover it, they love this stuff. With almost 30 locations in Southern CA, you should definitely try Juan Pollo for yourself( ). WHYMINUS1STAR? Soda refills are 50 cents extra. What? They also don’t sell the wings individually. Someone please revisit that business plan or else I might go cuckoo.

$ 13.49 for a whole chicken dinner, which came to under $ 15 with tax and fed the whole family! The chicken was savory and well seasoned and I surprisingly liked the potato salad. The rice was bland and mushy and a pass for me. I ordered the hot salsa and preferred it to the mild bland ones served at the crazy chicken chain… Thought I’d have to wait after ordering but no siree — my food was ready before I zipped up my purse! Yes, they charge a fee to use credit cards so bring cash or use debit. I normally pay a lot more for this type of meal at competing chains so for the price and quick service, this was A-OK.

Came in for lunch after visiting the driving range. The parking here is limited in front and the drive thru is closed. The inside is fairly small but adequate. I ordered the lunch special which included two pieces of dark meat, rice, beans, choice of tortillas and salsa. What I like about Juan Pollo is that they give you additional chicken and the pieces are extra large compared to their competitor. My food came out promptly and the chicken was piping hot, rice and beans were decent and the spicy salsa could have been spicier. The portions here generous and very filling and I was satisfied. I’ll return here again.
