Pepz Pizza & Eatery

I always order take-​out pizza and wings here and can’t complain! The pizza is delicious and wings are top notch. This is my regular go-​to place when I have a pizza craving now.

I’ve never had a complaint for Pepz Pizza & Eatery… from pick-​up to delivery orders they’ve always had great service. Today I ordered delivery: 2 lunch specials Combo #1…I’ve been craving pastrami so I ordered pastrami… it was delicious… large pieces of meat, warm and toasty. The combo included a house salad (always fresh) and a regular size soft drink. I also ordered a side of Pepz Nachos… they weren’t soggy or overly salty like you find at other places, just right the way I like potatoes with some crunch. The order came quickly, it only took 25 minutes instead of 40… service was great, the delivery guy and manager were both very kind.
I’ve ordered from them in the past a large Turkey Sub, large Pastrami sub, antipasto salad and the 18″ pastrami pizza, they’ve all been delish. I think it’s all worth the price, because they use quality ingredients and don’t rush to give you anything less than the best. Service is always great… I recommend you trying at least once to see if it’s appealing to your food palate, for my husband and I we consider it a treat when we order from them

Just got home from this place. Where to start 1^st the guy took a very long time to bring our food even had to come ask what we ordered.2^nd this place was filthy. I thought maybe cause they were busy but go to leave and the other guy is just standing there.3^rd and 4^th the food did not taste good and messed up my stomach

Very good and inexpensive place. They are quick, great for my hour lunch break and they even deliver. Will definitely eat there again.

Everything except one thing here is great. The servers are nice and the food is great. The reason I don’t give Pepz 5 stars is because the bathrooms are a wreck. I smells like walking into a sew (not that I have ever done that). So I would definitely recommend this place to anyone. Just be ready to hold your breath if you have to go to the bathroom.

So just moved to the area and trying out local spots for food. This will not be a place I return to. Pizza is nothing to brag about. Just pizza. But if I had to choose this of Pizza Hut, I’d choose Pizza Hut. Pizza is over sauced for my liking, but that’s just me. Potato wedges needed more flavor, nothing special. Fried Zucchini were over battered and no flavor. Top it off they (zucchini) were way over priced for the quantity.

Great! Giant beers as well as good variety from lagers to ipas in giant mugs/​pitchers. A lot of tvs and games. Pizza super cheesey with generous toppings. A little pricey but worth it, we always have leftovers. Wings are also great, the buffalo sauce is amazing and super spicy! Enjoy (:

Really great quality Pizza, and their salads are HUGE! A fun place for the kids after t-​ball! TV’s for sports, and some arcade games for the kids. Pretty good selection of beers. You can make reservations if you have a large group or coming as a team.

Pepz uses quality ingredients in their food but is very chintzy in their use. Their prices are not in line with what they give you on all their items. Their calzones are huge but the pizza roll left me feeling ripped off.
Their craft beer selection is good and their basic salad is tasty, but this is a pizza place and I don’t like having to order extra cheese just to get enough cheese.

Pick up from here about once a week. Their house special pizza is great, but they have several odd & delicious other pizza offerings. If you’re not in the mood for pizza, they have excellent sandwiches toasted to perfection. The chicken wings are worth a try. Several tasty sauces and extra hot will bring a tear to your eye. Best part I don’t call in the orders. Instead I wait until I get there because they have a small (about 15 to 20), but good selection of craft beers on tap. All the staff are outstanding.

I have ordered delivery from this location at least 7 different times since January, and every time has been a great experience.
The food is very tasty. We have tried a couple different pizzas, wings, shrimp, sandwiches, and the potato wedges nacho thing. No complaints, it’s all very good!
Every time I call to order (even during likely high call volume/​busy Friday and Saturday nights) the employees are EXTREMELY courteous and patient as I often order complicated orders, example «instead of bell peppers can I have olives» and they are always very accommodating. I have never felt rushed to finish my order.
The delivery is prompt and the drivers are great!
I highly recommend. This is my go to pizza place!

This place has amazing pizza! I have eaten her several times and have always raved about it. Recently I was at my friends apartment and talked everyone into ordering pepz pizza. No one else had tried it before so I was excited. The pizza guy arrived and tried to enter the complex on the side by the parking lot instead of the main entrance. We were by the main entrance and did not see him so we called him back. He did not answer and it turns out he had left. We called the store and they said they would come back. When we finally got our pizza the toppings were stuck to the top of the box. I called the store again to complain and the woman you answered had a horrible attitude and asked what I wanted her to do about it and that the manager was gone and she didn’t know when he would be back. I asked her to take down my number and have the manager call me. Of course I never received a call.
It’s a shame that they provide such horrible service when the food is so delicious. The salads and the pizza are both really good and their ranch is amazing. It’s not worth the trouble though so if you are in la habra and looking for good pizza and a good experience I suggest Barro’s Pizza.

Too doughy and it taste somewhere between Pizza Hut and Little Caesars.

Great place for walkins and delivery. The prices are high. A couple of large pizzas will run you $ 40.00. The pizza is good. Salads, sandwiches and drinks are available. Alcohol is available. Arcade games available for the kids on site. The place is normally clean with a minimum wait time. Employees are courteous and responsive. Typically, there is always plenty of seating room. Spartan décor and high ceilings allow a feeling of spaciousness with no need to rush your meal. Nice place for a family meal.

The it is a pretty cute spot but I do agree that Staff needs to smile more and be and look more friendly. They are not really friendly.
But over all pizza good, beer is good, pretty roomie and prices on average

I have been coming to Pepz for about 5 years and the pizza is the best I ever had. The crust is perfectly cooked with a slight crunch and perfect chew. They have very creative specialty toppings or you can just get it any way you like it. This is also a great place to bring the family they have games for the kids and an assortment of beers for the adults.
I am also the owner of a music academy and we use Pepz to hold our student recitals and rock shows. They have a stage and are always very accommodating with scheduling. It is a great place for all types of events from awards ceremonies to after the big game team pizza parties.
So what are you waiting for… Order up!!!

Pretty good place to go especially with a large group of people…
I’ve gone for a few pizza parties here with tee ball and both the kids and the adults all have a great time. I’m not sure I’d want to go if I were going just as a family, but it’s pretty fun as a large group… or even when we go during football season to catch some NFL games with a group of friends.
Decent selection on the menu; pizza, chicken, fries, wings, sweets, salads, beer, wine, soft drinks.
** Salads are huge, lots of toppings and good stuff on there. Ingredients always seem fresh enough and have great flavor.
** Pizza is really good, in fact I think I like it a lot here. Crust has always been perfect; not too overdone and not too chewy, not too thin and yet not too thick either. Sauce has nice flavor. Pretty darn good pizza!
** Chicken, well, everyone seems to love it and they eat a lot of it! Even the wings. However, I don’t eat chicken if there’s a bone within a mile of it so I can’t tell you either way… just passing along what I’ve observed. Wings are a staple with our group though.
** Fries, oh yeah. Steak fries, oh yeah… seasoned perfectly and nice and thick. I like them thick. Size doesn’t matter as long as they have some width to them. Pepz fries are super yummy.
** If you ask me (and you’re reading this review, so you must be), I think that the very best thing on the menu is their fried shrimp!!! You can get either a ½ pound or pound and it is so freaking delish! They serve with the normal sauce, but they also have two others available upon request; sweet chile (my fave) or a habanero. Definitely something to try, it’s a favorite among all of my Monday Night Football peeps.
** Beers… loads of beers. Bottled, IPAs and on tap… all are icy cold and served up with a smile by the friendly and helpful bartenders. Those guys (and gals) work it back there!
** Wine and other drinks are also available.
** Games: Air hockey, video games and your basic token games are scattered around for enjoyment and fun. Plenty of TVs on the walls too.
You can make reservations for your team or large group. Like I said, I haven’t been there in a small «family type» situation, but it’s definitely a great place for a group or team setting. It’s not too big though so make sure you do call ahead if you have a fairly large group coming in.

Chicken wings:
–Honeey BBQ is a bit too sweet for me.
–Original is what i like. just dip in ranch.
–Buffalo is also good
–Spicy is beware. Korean is sayin it comes with a good kick
Broasted Chicken:
You can get with 2, 4, 8 piece. Comes with a bit of fries.
I don’t really eat dark meat so i cant comment on the leg n thighs. However the boobs arent’ too dry and has good juiciness for a titty. the wing is good, i like the wing better than the boob. The breading is a bit too much for me so i normally take it off and wipe off the cartilage with a napkin.
Pizza:
Im a simple, peeperoni & pineaplle type. the pizza is okay but i rather eat the chicken or sammich here.
Pizza Sticks
These are an appetizers but can be a full meal for you elves out there. I rather have this opposed to pizza. It just better. The calzones are good too but the pizza stucks is basically both without so many toppings.
Fries:
They are mildly seasoned and are a golden brown. they dont look like restaruant fries and have some thickness to them. A little thickness is preferred on my end.
Service:
The serivce was awesome. You order at the counter and they deliver. It’s carls jr style. We conteplated which beer to get and they gave us samples. They have 8 different things on tap, maybe more, but i sampled all 8 at this point. Tonight’s option was i forgot =D
Tonight’s outing on my end, was limited because i ate Arthurs then Vinnys at 2ish and got here around 630−7pm, wasnt that hungry but my company was.
Price:
Its pretty expensive…

Came here to watch the Cowboys & some friends, the Titans. They have a wall full of flat screens and each play a different game. The place is a bit worn down, but going to a sports bar/​pizza joint in the city of La Habra, you shouldn’t expect much. We ordered some pizza (bbq chicken & spinach alfredo) and they were a — okay. The real stand out here were the beers on tap. They had some local brews, which were great! Also, the bartender was really helpful in helping me choose an IPA.
The crowd was a bit older and rougher. Some were dogging me bc I was cheering on for the Cowboys. But you gotta respect their dedication to their team!
I would come back for their NFL ticket & beers on tap if I were in the area.
