Bull’s BBQ Food Truck

The best food truck in Knoxville (and Bonnaroo… seriously). Don’t miss it if you can help it — seriously good stuff.

Do you love BBQ? No I mean, do you consider yourself a connoisseur of BBQ, and spell it always with a capital letters? Then start stalking this truck on some social media channel and hunt it down for your next meal. Seriously, this guy (his nickname is Bull, his food is anything but) knows what he’s doing when it comes to proper seasoning, smoking and flavoring. He’s not afraid to get creative with dishes, like the Pulled Pork Parfait, served in a parfait style cup! that has pork, sweet potatoes, slaw and swirls of heaven I guess, that thing is ridiculously good, and everyone will ask «just WHAT are you eating?»
So I can hear you say «but yeah, the missus or the mister is a vegetarian, I guess we’ll never know this greatness…» BUT WAIT, he smokes and seasons fruit (fruit!) in ways you didn’t even think was possible. Do you know what a jackfruit is? It’s a gift from god that looks and tastes like pork BBQ after Bull is finished with it — but it’s a fruit! Have you ever had smoked sweet potatoes? No? Then put it on your bucket list.
I also love Sweet P’s here in town (it’s an institution more than just a restaurant), but it’s kind of a far drive, and it’s all essentially standard fare, where you can get standard pork BBQ that’s every bit as good, arguably better, from this truck along with specialties that no one else in town is even attempting. Look him up when he’s at a local beer establishment, enjoy some sunshine, craft brews and get some of the very best BBQ in town!
