An excellent pizza with lots of toppings and wonderful Italian sausage. The salad of fresh organic greens and veggies was an excellent starter. Glad we turned around and came back.

Love this place, worth the wait! This pizza place does not skimp on the ingredients. Lots of cheese, locally cured meat, sauce and homemade dough. The wait is typically 30+ minutes, so call ahead if you want your pie ready when you arrive. No alcohol. No bathrooms.

I’m from New Jersey originally, so I’m hard pressed to enjoy pizza outside of the New York area. I’ve got to give it to Pau Hana here that they’ve got some pretty good pizza. We’ve had it a few times — Billie Holiday rocks real hard and the pomodoro is very good. Their gluten free crust is also surprisingly good!

I wasn’t too excited about eating pizza at Kaua’i especially since we have tons of pizza places in the mainland. But this place is special. Who would think putting fish on pizza is a good idea??? I certainly didn’t after reading the menu. However, to my surprise, Billie Holiday(their own kind of pizza) is one of their top pizzas! We decided to do half of the Billie Holiday and half of The Chewy(another top favorite). Those are the two best pizzas I’ve had! Billie Holiday has smoked ono(fish), onions, garlic and cheese. The Chewy has chipotle BBQ pizza sauce, sausage, garlic, herbs and cheese. Not only did they have pizza but they also had good desserts! We got the guava macaroons and chocolate eclairs. Both were decadent, particularly the guava macaroons because let’s face it, it’s not everyday you get to eat guava macaroons, unless you are in this are of Kaua’i.

I had a decaf soy latte with Mac nut syrup with a coconut macaroon cookie and it was delicious. My hubby had the house coffee and lilikoi cream puff. We enjoyed our treats and our time at this little café. It’s too bad this shopping area doesn’t have a public restroom close by. The one that they tell you to go to at the public recreation area was very dirty. I hope the owners of the property can put a public restroom in.

They have excellent chai lattes! Mix the spicy and vanilla together for a tasty treat!

This is a cute little bakery in cute little shopping strip(Kauai style), the food is good and prices are reasonable. The real reason I’m taking the time to write is because they are experimenting with a gluten free bread made from bread fruit flour. We happened to be there(Dec, 22, 2015 I think), bought a loaf and it was moist, flavorful and had great texture. FANTASTIC really. And it’s my girlfriend, not even me, who’s the GF person in our house. I strongly encourage all bread lovers to stop in and buy some(the pizzas and panninis are great too).

This place is really a-ok for lunch. The caprese panini was pretty delicious — there was no skimping of cheese or pesto… or butter for that matter. The stromboli was… less good. The best part was the bread but the rest of it was rather dry. Not sure why it didn’t come with a marinara or something. The pastries left a bit to be desired. We got the lemon bar and the coconut chocolate bar(not sure what it was called). They were… ok. When it comes to pastries, they really need to be worth the calories. These simply were not. Still, I’d go back for a panino. 2 pastries, panino, stromboli, 2 sodas = $ 37.

Awesome! This was our first stop when we visited Kauai. The woman behind the counter was extra helpful and have us suggestions of which flavors to get on a half-and-half pizza. We ended up getting one with half Big Meat Combo and half Pomodoro. It was delicious. I also started with their turkey soup, which was perfect. Most of their seating is outside, but it’s covered. Overall great place, even though we didn’t get a chance to go back and try their baked goods. Next time?

I will never never never eat at this restaurant again. Why you asked: They don’t give a hoot about their customers. No I repeat no restroom on the premises or even somewhat close. They want you to walk blocks and blocks to a public park Disgusting way to treat customers.

We were here to visit the lighthouse & decided to stop by and get a slice of pizza, smoothies and some desserts. It has a small tent covering over approx 9 tables or so and 3 – 5 tables to sit in. We order a slice of all meat pizza and it was average. The smoothies was tasteless, cream buff is overly sweet. The only dessert that tastes somewhat decent is the coconut cookie. I will not recommend this place for other Unilocalers

We go to the bakery multiple times on every trip to Kaua’i. Never had anything that wasn’t wonderful like the Coconut Chocolate Chip bars… so good. Hubby is absolutely addicted to their Blended Chai Tea… not cheap at $ 5.25 for a large(not very large), but worth it.

love love love this place. My family goes here every time we’re vacationing in Kauai. Their breakfast strombolis are super delicious! Get here early though or they will run out. Smoothies are yummy but a little over priced for how much you get. I guess that’s expected when you’re in Kauai — everything seems to be a little more expensive. They have tons of pastries and pizza by the slice ready to eat. Their specialty pizzas take a lot longer since I believe they are made to order. The Big Blue pizza is no longer on their menu, but if you ask for it they will make it. Smoked ono and garlic goodness, yum! This place is a definite must when in Kauai

We did it! We finally found a food place in Kauai that we will definitely miss and won’t be able to even come close to duplicating or «one upping» back home! This little place deserves some sort of medal of recognition for how awesome they are! Rumor has it that the lady that made my pizza in the back has been making pizzas for this bakery nearly since they originally opened; that’s like over 25 years ago! This is the sort of place worth trying and a story worth tasting. Handmade meats, HANDMADEMEATS; need I say more? Sausage, pepperoni, salami– all of which are phenomenal! Keep this in mind when you see the prices of their pizzas. The price is a little steep, but for that taste it’s not unreasonable. I had three pizzas while there: the chewy, the Billie Holiday, the big meat combo. All of which were superb, but the big meat combo was my favorite. White sauce on the Billie Holiday deserves an honorable mention. Would make an excellent sauce for any pasta! On top of it all the little chocolate rum balls they sell there are one of a kind! Nothing compares to how rich moist and perfect they are– I just wish they had a half dozen/dozen price option. Keep up the amazing work Chef Tom. Your hard work and attention to detail have not gone unnoticed. Buen Provecho!

A good little stop on the way to the Kilauea Lighthouse. We had breakfast there one morning, the Sausage Stromboli was pretty good albeit a tad greasy. It is made with pizza dough and I believe it is dressed the same(smothered in butter and salt). The sticky buns are good. average for sticky buns. We also stopped for a few desserts; the coconut macaroon, chocolate coconut macaroon, rum coconut ball, lilikoi cream puff and coconut cream elcair. Next time, I won’t let the husband picked them all, way too much coconut. That aside, they were all good. I don’t really have anything bad to say about them, they were all average.

Cute little café/bakery. I got a vanilla mac nut latte, which was a pretty good pick me up. The coffee adjustments were free of charge so even though the drink was pricey, it was customizable and made up for the $. Friendly customer service, which I appreciated because it was usually a hit or miss in general on this island. There were a lot of food options, but we didn’t pick anything up to eat even though the pizza looked good.

Cute setting in the middle of the small shopping center with lots of outdoor seating. The cookies were good, the texture a little floury but with nice flavor. The guava macaroon was great and I wouldn’t hesitate to detour off the highway to grab another in my future. Subtle but forward fruit flavor, quality chocolate in a moist macaroon. It was a little dense and perhaps a bit too moist but still delicious. The pizza was just ok. Will do in a pinch but floppy under its own weight due to a thin crust that tasted like it needed more time to leaven. Heavy on the cheese, neither good nor bad, and the meat pizza had a good taste and variety. Reminded me of a Costco slice with thin crust.

For many years my family and I have enjoyed the food from the Kilauea bakery. Their bagels are our Christmas morning treat and there pizzas have made many movie nights more entertaining. The lines can be a bit long and on holidays they can sell out of certain treats, but if your in Kilauea and in need of a hot/cold drink or some great food check them out. Tip: spiced chai is crazy good and the pizza by the slice is always a good idea.

I am soooooooooooooo happy I made a pit stop here before I left to catch my flight back home. It was so easy to get here from where I was staying in Princeville and on my way to the airport. It’s a very pleasant and quiet shopping center with a few shops and restaurants. The bakery is right in the center with some outside seating and beautiful little grassy area next door to it. I felt at peace on my last day in Kauai being there. I started off with a Portuguese Sausage soup. It was perfect for my slight hangover from the night before. They didn’t have any pizza ready when I got there until 10:30am. Once I finished my soup the pizza was ready and I went to place my order. The veggie pizza(in picture) is sooooo delicious. At first, I felt that it could’ve been cooked a little longer but still so yummy. I love artichoke! Definitely worth it. The Berrylicious smoothie was yummy too, but nothing significant or outstanding from other smoothie places. The service was great and really fast. Lots of people kept showing up to eat and everything I saw looked yum. Unfortunately, I couldn’t try it all but I plan on vacationing in Kauai again and will come back to eat here!
