Dunkin’ Donuts

My week gets off to a good start with my Monday morning DD run before heading to work. The staff is always so friendly, they are a great way to start the day?! Can’t beat their dark roast coffee, however, I’m not a fan of their doughnuts… I think since I get there so early they are leftovers from the night before, the only thing keeping them from 5!

While the employees are generally pleasant and kind, this store overall is pretty awful. I always have to wait for my food an extra long time, even when I’m the only customer present. The food is often dry and/​or burned, and I’m convinced they save money by shorting me one order of hash browns every visit. Finally I believe they take great delight in tossing donuts in the bag icing side down, which is not so delightful to customers.

Small store in the corner of a strip mall. Drive thru was easily accessible. Ordered a Vanilla Chai and it was delicious. Hot. The staff were friendly, clean and the store appeared clean on the inside through the window. I have clients in this area and will stop by often.

They’re «out» of menu items so frequently it’s ridiculous. It’s honestly 9 times out of 10 that they don’t have (or haven’t made) something I want to order.

This is a very small Dunkin Donuts location compared to most I have visited in the recent past. The counter staff was very friendly on our visit, and even gave my husband and I each a Bavarian crème filled donut hole to try. Unfortunately though they got my donut order a little wrong, but of course everything was delicious anyway. The hot coffee and specialty drinks are great, way better than competitors and cheaper as well. I have to say this location seems kind of old and outdated to me, it reminds me of Dunkin in the 80’s actually. But that’s not entirely a bad thing, just understand that it doesn’t have the spacious newer dining area of some stores. While we didn’t use the drive thru this store does have one.

This is for the new DD on 87^th street. Terrible. I love the iced coffee and the hash rounds but every single time I’ve gone through the drive thru my order has been wrong. Very, very wrong. The first couple of times I got the wrong breakfast sandwich and the sandwiches they gave me were cold and burned (how does that even happen?!)
Today took the cake… Ordered 4 combos and a large iced coffee. $ 24. Paid and got one bag of food, so I waited patiently and the Rude girl at the window looked at me like she hated me and said in the most condescending tone «what are you WAITING for?» I was so caught off guard I couldn’t immediately reply. I said «um, the rest of my order.» She gave me a filthy dirty look and turned around and walked off. A minute later she handed me 3 drinks and almost walked off again until I told her I was missing a drink. She rolled her eyes and walked away. Another girl (who was much more pleasant) handed me the 4^th drink and shut the window. I checked the bag and we were missing two donuts so I finally got those and drive home, 10 minutes away, only to discover they forgot an order of hash rounds. I drove BACK up and spoke to a manager who listened to my ordeal, apologized, then handed me a small sack of hash rounds saying «we put a ton extra in there for you all to share»…there were 11. I just laughed and left. Never, ever again. This place needs to fire everyone and start over.

I love Duncan donuts but this is the worst I’ve ever been too, always something fishy, doors are locked during business hours and nothing is ever correct.

Great friendly service. This is my new replacement for Starbucks. They even gave my baby a free donut hole.

Donuts have always been solid. The sandwiches they’ve now included in the menu are definitely worth trying. A step up from the golden arches and the other knock-​offs.

I have to agree with the others that I’m a fan of this drive-​thru. In fact I’ve never been inside. I usually just come through for the coffee. I do have a pastry sweet tooth, but I rarely indulge it here. Their doughnut holes are very sweet, flaky and tasty.
They’ve got plenty of choices for beverages: hot, iced, and frozen. They also have tea. If you’re hungry they have muffins, doughnuts, hash browns, danishes, cookies. Then they also have a big selection of breakfast sandwiches.
They have a DD Perks card so you can get discounts, it’s very similar to the starbucks card where you can load it on your phone and recharge the balance.
If you’re in need of caffeine or a treat, this is a great option. You don’t even have to get out of your car for it.

Usually come here every Friday to become the office hero! The ultimate thing I love about this place is the drive-​thru window. When you order, make sure you speak loudly and have them repeat your order because every single time I’ve been, my order has been incorrect once I’ve pulled up to the window. Great coffee, donuts, and muffins. Stay away from the oatmeal… tastes like it’s microwaved.

It’s a donut shop and let me be the first to say thank you for the drive thru! With kids and our crazy schedules the drive thru is the way to go. All the same great options, choices and pleasant service (maybe too friendly for that time of the day) and I never have to unbuckle my twins from their booster seats or deal with the cold air … gracias! As for the food: good donuts even in a town with some local heroes! The Boston Crème is still my fav! Chocolate milks could be a bit smaller for the kids (and OMG: who makes already rich chocolate milk with already rich whole milk?) Nonetheless I know better now … in any case: DD is good and keeping true to their pledge of 15 stores throughout the metro! Glad one is nearby when I have the cravings!
