I really love Starbucks but this location is rather small not enough space to move around. The Batista really don’t talk that much once though place your order. It doesn’t feel as friendly as some other locations. But when I’m in the mood for my green tea frap I don’t care as long as its made yummy everytime.

Recently remodeled to fit many of the other Starbucks with reclaimed wood tables. I love the new look. I enjoyed my tall, skinny iced caffe mocha.

I rarely feel the need to write reviews about chains unless I’m over or under-impressed by a particular location. This review falls into the latter category. So, I like Starbucks. Whine all you want about not being a true coffee connoisseur, but when my craving for a rich, caffeinated dessert-in-a-cup comes on, there’s nothing like a Starbucks specialty latte to hit the spot. Which is exactly why I stopped by the Ward Center in between commutes today. My drink was fine. But the baristas at this location have some serious attitude issues. I walk in, smile, order my tall vanilla spice latte with soy, no whip, please. The cashier stares at me in what can best be described as disgust. Sighs dramatically. «WHAT size.» «Umm, a tall please?» She rolls her eyes and punches in my order. «Youwannareceipt.» «…no…» Then proceeds to stare blankly past me as I finally realized that was my indication that our interaction was over and I was to get myself out of her way. And the barista who made my drink wasn’t much better… she called out my drink in a similarly contemptuous voice without so much as a glance up as she waved the drink lazily in my direction. I’ll admit my first reaction was to feel self conscious — perhaps I was sporting a nasty piece of granola bar between my teeth?(I wasn’t, for you morbidly curious folks ;)) But I quickly realized how misplaced that thought was. So what if I had come in looking frazzled or frumpy? Starbucks patrons are caffeine addicts, not Oscar nominees. Not to mention everyone should be treated with at least some minimum level of respect. The baristas here could apparently not be bothered to do even that. That sort of attitude can turn a warm comforting drink into a sugary disappointment. I don’t ever plan on returning to this location. But if I’m forced to, I know what I’ll order next time: a tall vanilla spice latte with soy, no whip, and hold the crappy attitude, please.

Its hard to find a bad(corporate) Starbucks and this isn’t one of them. Don’t go that often to this location but usually a good experience every time even when I’m racing in there before they close.

In all fairness, I will preface this review saying I don’t really do coffee shops. I don’t drink coffee. Which is why, when I got a $ 10 gift card to Starbucks, and the very nice barista asked me what I wanted to drink, I said, «Umm, I’m not sure.» I told her I don’t drink coffee but got this gift card. She was very nice, she asked me a few questions about what I liked(hot/cold, sweet, whatever) and said if I wanted to try something new, I could try a White Chocolate Iced Mocha(I love White Chocolate) and they could do 1 shot instead of 2 and add extra syrup. Sounds good! She said to try it before I go and if I don’t like it I could get something else. So I tried it before I left, and I’m so glad she said they would get me something else because I guess even a little espresso is too much espresso in my book. I felt terrible asking for another drink, but the girl was so nice and accommodating. I ended up migrating back to my comfort zone and got a Strawberries and Crème drink which was pretty good.

Lightening fast and friendly. And in Ward Center, where the world seemingly begins and ends. :) A Sugar Free Iced Vanilla Latte was just the ticket in the leather chairs with a warm burgeoning spring sunshine on our faces. I have always like Starbucks. They roast a little dark for most of their coffees, but I know what to expect and what to order here, and they do it right almost every time.

I never really like to write reviews about national chain restaurants because once you have been to one you have seen them all and I just don’t get wowed by anything in particular. Nothing blew me away, and nothing was a huge letdown either, it was overall a typical Starbucks(except it did seem smaller than most I have been to).

I work in the same mall as this Starbucks. While my store and the stores surrounding me are deprived of customers, this Starbucks is always jammed full of people needing their coffee fix. They give me 10% off for being a mall employee and I can pick up their Wi-fi signal from my store which is how I’m writing this review right now. Also, they make my caramel latte correctly so I’m a fan.
