Menu was a little overwhelming walking in on a busy saturday. Do yourself a favor and look at the menu online ahead of time and be prepared. The fish tacos were very bland. The shrimp tacos were pretty good. The shrimp were about the size of a quarter. I was told at the register that kids eat free on Saturdays so that was a nice surprise. Overall it’s decent for quick food but it’s not something you’ll constantly be craving. It’s worth a stop if you’re nearby but don’t drive out of your way to go there.

Wow, so good. I was quite hungover and Mexican burritos sounded amazing after my morning coffee. My order was the streak burrito and let me tell you how great it was! First of all the steak inside isn’t small chopped up steak bites cough** cough**(chipotle) they were actual steak slices and marinated. The combination with black beans rice ahh. Talking about it makes me want another. Anyways great food and pretty cool logo design. definitely would go back

We find ourselves at Fuzzys taco shop often on Saturdays when we’re running errands. I’ve been remiss in not writing a review lately; they certainly deserve props for always filling my hangry cravings! Every time we visit we wish it were more appropriate of a time to indulge in their margaritas, they look awesome. I usually get the large crispy shrimp salad bowl, it’s amazing. They have both large and small salad bowls; I find the main difference is the amount of toppings. The shredded chicken salad bowl is also equally tasty. When you pick up your order, they have a variety of small containers of salsa, check them out, they add a nice kick to the salad. The last time we were there we saw the nacho plate and couldn’t resist. They were piled high with fresh toppings and chicken, very good and one plate was more than enough for two people to share. We fell in love with Fuzzy’s when our daughter was in college in Ft. Worth and they had one near campus. So excited that we have our own right here in KC! I’d give the food five stars, but I have to take a star off the overall rating due to the lack of cleanliness of the restaurant. Consistently good food and service; unfortunately consistently messy/dirty dining area and bathrooms.

While the first visit experience had convinced us never to come back again(60 mins for our food), I am glad I gave it another chance. Food is great and I have not experienced anything outside of reasonable for wait time since then. Love the tempura shrimp and shredded beef tacos.

Food was so greasy, even blotting with a napkin didn’t even help. I couldn’t even eat it. Returned meal and manager took it to the kitchen. There were two cooks in the kitchen at the time and both refused to take responsibility and wouldn’t fess up to making it. Both my meal and my boyfriends we completely refunded. One of the most terrible experiences in a food establishment I’ve ever had.

So we decided to give a call to Fuzzy’s Taco @ Wornall tonight and order food to pick up and take home. Got put on hold and hung up after three minutes of uninterrupted silence. Called in again and was immediately put on hold. Once the call timer on my cell phone hit four minutes, we hung up and decided to go somewhere else. Docking them an additional star from my last review due to the consistent«suck» I’ve encountered in the last year. This place used to win. Bummer.

This was our first time dinning and it was ok, no problems with ordering our food or getting it timely. The cashier recommended some items and we took his suggestions. Food was very good.

First visit was great but my last three have all been horrible. I don’t know why I keep putting myself through it. I asked for no onions or tomatoes on a quesadilla. Sure enough, I got onions and tomatoes on it. I took it back and the cook told me that’s pico not onions and tomatoes. I asked what the ingredients in pico were and then he just took it from me. Cmon now. I’ve had several different Fuzzy’s and this is the worst. I won’t go back by my choice.

I really like fuzzys. It’s just a solid place. Better than fast food, but quick and efficient. The number once thing I recommend is the shredded chicken nachos. You get quite a full plate of food for $ 6.99! I’ve had the fish tacos before too, they are pretty good. Everything I’ve had has been good and the side ls are also plentiful and filling.

Fuzzy’s is definitely good drunk food, and was a staple of my diet back in college in a relatively small Oklahoma town. However, as I’ve gotten older and been exposed to the wide variety of foods in Kansas City, I feel there are better options when you need your drunken fix. The borracho beans are definitely a hit for me, and the tacos are more authentic than many tex-mex places, but it definitely feels chainy and almost fast foodish.

The food is very good not authentic but, good. I love that they are open for breakfast. The grilled veggie taco are great. My only real complaint is that their spivey sauce is spicier than it use to be but, really isn’t that spicy.

The food is pretty good but it is not good enough to make up for the poor service. We used to come here regularly and typically enjoyed our visits, but it has declined so much in the last year that we probably won’t return to this location. The last two times we have been here we waited over 30 minutes for our food and we ordered tacos! On our visit today, we again noticed tables who came in long after us had already gotten their food. When we inquired, they told us they were out of fish for the fish tacos and would have to substitute. Then we were given part of our order and told the rest would be right out. My husband never got one of his tacos. I never got the potatoes and my fish tacos,(which We were told they did not have, but obviously did) were served in a hard shell even though I ordered soft shell. I ate them anyway because I didn’t want to wait another 30 minutes. When I went to let the woman running the food line know,(the one who told us that she would bring the rest of our order), that we never received it, but did not want to wait for it any longer, she just looked at me. Then she asked me to wait while she went to get someone else. I had already been there for over an hour at that point and told her, I needed to leave. She asked, so you don’t want to talk to someone? My answer was no. Who knows how long that would take and where is that someone been all this time as the restaurant was falling apart?

What can I say about fuzzy’s tacos? For starters, the name always gets a laugh whenever I mention it to friends. Some of them thought it was a strip joint, but it’s far from it. They have pretty good proportions with their sides and web make their own chips. Not a big fan of guacamole, but I would eat it here. The kitchen staff is ran well when a certain tall, white guy is running it, and he makes sure your food comes out like you ordered. Not a fan of picking up my own order but it does give you a chance to see your food a first to make sure it is right. I wouldn’t recommend the pulled pork, it comes out greasy, and never seasoned right to my taste. They do add feta to everything, so be wary of you are not a fan. It is certainly better than Taco Bell when it comes to filling you up.

Not your average taco joint! Feels like this should be a tourist stop in Orlando! Fun vibe. Great people. Hip joint. My favorites are: Drunken Pig Soup(pork and beans… salty heaven) Big Taco Salad which is served in a giant salad bowl Spicy Pork Nachos and they have GREATGUAC! This is one of my first choices for a lunch out away from the office! Enjoy this!

Well color me surprised! I admit I’ve driven by this place a thousand times and never even thought for one second about going inside. But when we had a large group of kids and their parents to get fed and keep occupied last Saturday, we tried Fuzzy’s out– and guess what?! I never should have judged a book by its cover, because this place is wonderful! Turns out, kids eat free on Saturdays. So nice! Each child got a cheese quesadilla– they were not huge, but big enough for the younger kids to have as a meal, and a good appetizer for the older kids. They have authentic Mexican bottled soda and Coke with real sugar in glass bottles– the kids all thought the drinks were a cool, special treat. The couple sitting across from me had never been here either, and they were super impressed with their soft tacos. Their taco selection is huge! I got two hard tacos– one tempura shrimp, which was good, and one grilled veggie, which was amaaaaazing. They come with feta, which I opted out of, and garlic sauce, which was mouth watering-ly scrumptious. The ‘Taco Plate’ comes with your choice of 2 tacos and 2 sides. There are lots of sides to choose from. I got the cilantro rice– wonderfully tangy with a good kick, and the Latin potatoes, which were like home fries. So darn yummy! My husband and daughter split the chicken nachos, and there was still plenty to take home. It’s not a meal at a place like this without Sopapillas, and there’s were so tasty– they come in chip form, drizzled with brown sugar, cinnamon, and honey. We sat at a booth and it was super comfy. I have some back issues and lots of chairs and booths are uncomfortable for me, but this one was very comfortable and supportive. And such a bargain! We had gobs of food and 3 drinks on my ticket, and it was under 20 bucks! The service was great too. The staff was very sweet and helpful. Big thumbs up for Fuzzy’s. We will be back soon!

I was on my way home, and remembered this place had some decent reviews. I was expecting average Mexican, but it was more disappointing than average. I got the chicken enchilada platter, which comes with 2 sides. I asked the cashier how the Latin fried potatoes were, and she replied«amazing». So I ordered those along with cilantro-lime rice, which also sounded good. I waited for my to-go order, which was ready in about 10 minutes. I drove home(about a 10 minute drive) and was excited about my meal. I opened it up and it didn’t look so great. I took a bite of the enchilada and it was edible, but dry and somewhat flavorless. I expect enchiladas to be drenched in sauce and cheese, but it had limited amounts of both. The Latin fried potatoes were far from amazing, actually they were pretty gross and extremely dry. The rice was under-cooked and did not have much of a cilantro-lime flavor. The portion was small, especially for below average food. The enchiladas(two) were particularly small. If I have low-quality Mexican, I at least want a large portion. I usually only give 1 star reviews if food is inedible, so 2 stars, since I ate it. I will not be back again.

This is a fun place for a quick lunch. The decore has a party atmosphere. Like the irreverent fish hanging above the kitchen that says«Bite me». So, I did. I had 2 tempura fish tacos in a soft shell. All their tacos come with your choice of crunchy or soft taco shell. I would heartily recommend the crunchy… my soft shell just ended up soggy and turned my tempura to mush. In case you missed it… that’s a bad thing in a tempura! We ordered the chips and salsa and the salsa was awesome! Chips? Not so much! They sprinkle chili powder on the chips which is very interesting… but the couldn’t fix the stale, overly thick chips. What you order can make a huge difference as to wether or not you LOVE this place. They do some things very well and other things not well at all. Case and point, my 2 dining companions thoroughly enjoyed their choices, a ground beef crunchy taco and a ground beef burrito with queso sauce. Pros 1) The prices are reasonable. $ 2.19 for a taco. 2) Fresh lime wedges for my diet Coke. 3) Great salsa Cons 1) Stale, overly thick chips. 2) Mushy soft shell Tempura Fish. tacos. 3) Very loud. I’ll be back! They deserve another chance to turn my LIKE to LOVE.
