When I first had a Jimmy John’s sandwich, it was in Tallahassee visiting my daughter & I was like what’s the hype about? Now that they have sprung up all over Jacksonville, I decided to try again & found that it grew on me! My fav is the #9 Italian night club, & they weren’t lying about the fast service. I have them an extra star rating for offering sandwiches of your choice lettuce-wrapped, called the unwich!

As the Hendrick’s Avenue location is the one that delivers to our office, I’m basing my review solely on their lunch time delivery service. These guys are great. I always thought the«So fast you’ll freak» catchphrase was nothing but a gimmick, but I’ve been constantly impressed at their freakishly fast delivery time and have to say that they live up to their promises. We never phone in our orders, we always place them online, and it seems that barely have we received an email confirmation than a JJ delivery guy/gal is buzzing our office door. As far as sandwich quality goes it’s truthfully a smidgen basic and looks, feels and tastes like the sort of sandwich you’d potentially be able to whip up at home, BUT you’re ordering JJ’s precisely because you were too lazy to make yourself a lunch and if you’re hungry it hits the spot, plus it’s pretty good value for what you get and the big selling point for our office is the delivery speed. Honestly, it doesn’t matter how bad the weather is, that JJ delivery person will still turn up armed with sandwiches in an impressively short amount of time. Also, even though they are the only sandwich place we’ve been able to find that delivers to our office location, they still canvas our Gate Riverplace Tower building by occasionally dropping off bags of assorted baby sammich samples which has helped to win over our office employees who would normally turn their nose up at a JJ lunch. I also have a soft spot for JJ as I have the habit of using an animal to distinguish between multiple orders, and they almost always doodle a picture on the sandwich wrapper. Call me a dork, but when I’m one deadline away from a meltdown, being able to giggle at my sandwich wrapper helps talk me off the ledge.

This location is always empty. I know they do a lot of delivery business. The staff are always friendly and prompt, however, at times skimpy on the ingredients. I can understand wanting to increase your sales when the place is empty, that’s why you charge me .75 for extra Guac and made me use my credit card again. Skimping on my tomato and cucumber isn’t cool. The cucumber and tomato doesn’t come out of your paycheck. Quality my friend. Quality.

Now I have been eating at Jimmy John’s for quite a while now. They do make a pretty good sandwich. I do like that they make your in a flash. They put a fair amount of meat on a normal sandwich. I normally get the gargantuan which is a plethora of meats and shredded lettuce and I do get them to leave the tomatoes in the deli box. I will also say that the sub sandwich is my go to meal. No matter what town I’m in the first thing I look for is a good sandwich. then more on to the fine dining establishments. I can also say that the kids inside are normally very nice an always have a smile.

This restaurant was very convenient to my workplace. But one day they didn’t get order right and told me I could call later to get another sandwich(credit). When I called, manager James could not locate my credit and called me a scammer. Customer service training needed desperately!

Surprisingly the only thing they forgot freaky fast was mayo packets. Food was delivered quicker than I could order online through there mobile page. Also, why would a delivery company offer cups of drinks rather than sealable bottles that wouldn’t be watered down by the time of delivery?

I have been in the Emergency Room since this morning. I have been seeing a number of Jimmie John’s delivery team members come and go throughout my stay here. I have missed lunch and wasn’t about to miss dinner. I down loaded the Jimmie John’s App and proceeded to order some vittles. Talk about wham bam thank you mam! My order was delivered with the quickness. Thanks for the great service.

I’ve eaten at Jimmy John’s in various locations around Jacksonville. My favorite subs include ‘The Ulitimate Porker’ and ‘Club LuLu.’ LOVE their subs. Freshly made fast! Thank you for stopping by and giving us samples of your subs. I have something to eat for lunch now.

Super fast is a sure thing at JJ. I get the #12 Beach Club. Turkey, provolone, lettuce, alfala sprouts, tomatoe and avacado. Its very tasty and fresf. Did i mention fast?! Well, its fast. The bread… The bread is tasty thats for sure. Everyone raves about the bread. But to me its a little tough. I think i almost lost a tooth trying to chew it. But the bread is good tasting. So hard to complain. Also, parking here is a pain. Very small parking lot. They do have a nice outside patio to sit at and the store always seems clean to me. Im sure I’ll return to this location.

I’d been to Jimmy John’s in Baltimore, Indianapolis, and Austin and enjoyed the sandwiches at each one so when I saw one a half mile from my hotel in Jacksonville, I had to make time to go. The claim to fame at Jimmy John’s is the quick preparation(and quick delivery, which I’ve never used) of their sandwiches. I’ve eaten in at each location and each time, my sandwich was ready by the time I got my change or credit card receipt. I love the decadence of their Gargantuan. Seems like everything is in it. So much more substantial than a Subway or Blimpie’s sandwich. But the sandwiches are only worth 4 stars. As usual, it’s the positive attitude of the employees that add an extra star. Amazingly, I haven’t run into any disgruntled employees at a Jimmy John’s. So much more enjoyable when you’re eating food prepared by people who seem to want you to enjoy it.

Quick fast and in a hurry. It’s late and you need a sandwich before the work day disappears into the work night then this is the place. I order and within 15mins my food is there. Basic sandwiches, nothing truly spectacular. The bread is probably the best part of the sandwich.

Jimmy John’s appeal is the fast preparation of their sandwiches. This is something that they usually achieve with flying colors. While their customer service is not akin to a fancy restaurant, they are ready to get your order and your money, usually promptly followed by a sandwich in your hand(their goal is to deliver it before you leave the register). The down side to this rush-style service is that you will very likely feel rushed. It takes me a minute to assess a menu when I arrive at a new restaurant and make a determination. I was fortunate that I first went during off-peak hours as I would not have made friends holding things up. Pro-Tip: Grab one of their paper menus on the cashiers area and go hide while you assess things. I grabbed one after my first visit and whenever I bring friends we figure out or orders before even entering. Price is on par with a sandwich shop like Subway. Their combo meal is not much of a deal($~.10 savings). They have a 15 – 20 seat inside and 20ish seat sheltered outside area. The inside is very loud and is not very conducive to extended conversation. They might have 6 parking spots in total(two are compact spots) which makes for a rather difficult lunch rush. Best to park a close as you can and don’t bother trying to park on their property during the peak hours. They have a very small delivery service area but do not charge much and have reasonable minimums. Overall a great experience if you are prepared to be rushed with decent sandwiches. They get extra points in my book for the snarky signs all over the place and the comments on the employee’s shirts. I won’t spoil them for you; go have a look. *Full Disclosure: A friend has been employed there for 3−6months and recently suggested I swing by. He was nice enough to decipher my incoherent babbling during my initial visit and pointed me towards the menu item I was desiring.

The food was fine and they are as fast as the promise. I ate JJ’s a lot when living in Gainesville @ UF. Um num num. This location, however, did not impress me with their customer service. While giving my order to a girl who did not seem interested, I was interrupted by another employee. She didn’t apologize or say excuse me, just cut me off. Rude. Sahkurity! Also, there was a rank smell coming from the bathroom. I couldn’t even stand near the door. I don’t know if it was the plumbing or the construction on the water pipes but it was foul. So, all in all, good food, smelly service.

Ah, Jimmy John’s, how many days did you feed me while at college in Tallahassee? You were always there for me [whether I needed you or not, haha] and always satisfying. Now that there’s a new location in San Marco, I’ve taken the opportunity of strolling down memory lane with you a few times. My favorite is [and will always be] the #12 Beach Club, yummy and fresh with avocado spread, sliced cucumber, and sprouts. There’s something too tasty about this sandwich to be truly healthy, but I’m not one to look into these things too deeply [at least in your case, Jimmy John’s].
