When we want to take food somewhere (like a pitch in), I don’t even bother cooking anymore. The response we get when people bite into Jordan’s chicken is like nothing else. We have introduced quite a few people to Jordan’s and they come from all over Indy and suburbs to get their Jordan’s fix.
Jordan’s must marinate their chicken first, because it’s got a little bit of a kick to it. Not too much — just enough to say, «Heyyyy… Here I am!» It’s not a doughy mess of breaded chicken either. The breading is very light. I’ve only tried their wings and tenders and both are just crazy good. I want to try their catfish as well.
I’d say definitely take out — especially in the summer. Every time we go, it’s scorching hot in there.
Go ahead… try it… enjoy it and you can thank me later.

They’ve upgraded their dining room a little, however, it’s not fine dining, so I wasn’t really expecting to be blown away. I take my orders to-​go anyways. I come here for their catfish nuggets, they’re bite-​size and SUPER flavorful, crunchy and tastes fresh. Whatever that special seasoning is, its fantastic. I’m glad they put it on pretty much everything, too. Their fried okra is delicious as well. Everything is pretty much piping hot when I get it and the quality is right. I’ll be coming here for as long as they keep up the good work.

Went to Jordan’s for the first time today. I’m a recent transplant from Knoxville, TN, where they have Wishbones Chicken. I’ve been looking for a replacement for that place, and Jordan’s has come the closest so far. I tried the 5 piece tenders basket with fries. The chicken was fresh, tender, and PIPING hot. Breading wasn’t too heavy. The ranch dip was good. I even enjoyed the bread that comes on the bottom MORE than the Texas toast that Wishbones serves! The only thing missing was a pickle spear, IMO. Can’t wait to return and try the okra and some fish filets. My only beef with Jordan’s is that there’s no soda fountain. If you want a soft drink, it’s from a can. And it’s Pepsi products, for those who care.

Incredible wings… biggest I’ve found in Indy. Get the 30 pack for only 20 bucks. It feeds 4 people and all will be full! Love going there after church.

i COULD NOT stop eating that Huge pile of Gizzards! they were so freshly fried tender & tasty, the Chicago style wings were good
the Lunch Specials which run for $ 5.99 are the Deal, go for Lunch or catch MO in the evenings the ocean perch was good, the catfish was ok
usually comes with hot sauce & slices of white bread on the side
nice Little clean reasonable friendly place for lunch
call ahead for huge orders (like for Holiday parties or just office Lunch)
