Decent Cheap Option. Wanted to get some last minute thai food and this place hit the mark — we were able to get a ton of food for less than $ 10 a person. Nothing blew our minds taste wise, but consider yourself warned — when they say spicy, they mean SPICY! We’re not super tough with heat, but we couldnt eat the hot and sour soup — though it was pretty good!

This is definitely a nice hidden gem that’s located in the ghetto shopping center on Harwin/S. Gessne that also houses Parisian Bakery. It’s kind of hard to find if you don’t know where it is. The restaurant is facing Harwin so it’s not where everything else is. I’ve come here a few times over the years. The food is always good and fresh. Despite the name on the façade(Thai Style Fast Food), this is NOT a fast food restaurant. The food are always prepared to order — just like a typical restaurant. Prices are not too bad. It’s not the lowest, but definitely not the highest. I’ll be back for more considering that this is the most convenient restaurant for me to get to.

Tasty dishes at an affordable price. The lunch special is a great deal at $ 6.95 and includes a soup, salad, and small egg roll. The place was small and clean, and the owner was nice. I ordered takeout at arrival and only had to wait 10 min for multiple dishes. Highly recommended.

Fast, tasty, cheap Thai food: a gem in Chinatown and a nice change of pace from the heavy American Thai options around Rice Village/suburbs or the more expensive Thai restaurants like Thai Gourmet. Lunch specials run 11a-4p and range from $ 6.50-$ 7.95 and include a main entrée, rice, small salad, egg roll, and a bowl of soup(except Saturdays when there is no soup). The salad and egg roll were just ok but the soup was really tasty. Portion sizes are decent– not enough for leftovers but definitely enough for a filling lunch. I sampled a few of my friends entrees– my favorites were the pad kee mao and the red curry. The noodles in the pad kee mao were perfection– super flavorful with a great basil flavor, cooked well, the right amount of heat, substantial meat. Store is small but plenty of tables. Service is quick and friendly. Overall really enjoyed the experience and will be coming back!

Not bad, but not spectacular either. Had the Pad Thai with shrimp and the shrimp were tiny. Tom Ka Gai was decent but I’ve had better. The place is in a run down strip center and looks the part. Probably won’t head back.

I like this place. :) Although it’s labeled«fast food», the quality is great and the flavors are on point. The presentation could use a little work, but I can get past that. The pad kee mao(spellcheck?) is a favorite of mine. The curries are a little thin compared to what I’m used to, but the flavors are there. I will definitely be back.

Service was fast and friendly. Prices were fair. My husband had the garlic shrimp lunch special and I had the curry shrimp special. The food was good, so was their Thai tea. We would come back.

Great food and CHEAP. Counter style service but they do take care of drink refills. Menu items have photos to help you order and the staff is very friendly. I order pad Thai, basil chicken and pad kee mow most of the time. Small dining room but cozy and they updated the chairs and tables since my last visit.

This is my spot for authentic, great tasting Thai food. Usual Thai food can be a little to spicy but this place works with you on spice levels. Dishes have preselected spiciness indicated by their names and you can ask the clerk too. We had the red curry, ginger chicken and pad Thai. The red curry and pad Thai dishes were outstanding.

Great tasting food! The only reason I am giving it 4 instead of 5 stars is that the temperature of the restaurant was a little warm. It seemed that they didn’t have the AC on and being summer in Houston it was a little warm. However the food was great! I had the shrimp pad thai and it was phenomenal. I will be coming back for sure. The portion is quite large for the price paid… my shrimp pad thai was about $ 10 and was plenty of food.

I give this place 5 stars based on the flavor and quality of the food. The presentation is not so great. I have eaten here twice recently, both times the food was flavorful and well prepared. Price was reasonable. Apparently, the place is family owned and the owner is normally the one who takes your order in the evening. It is a small place but they have a number of customers who get meals to go. Presentation of the food does leave something to desire. I would like to have the owner visit my other favorite Thai place in Denver, «The Spicy Basil»(on South Broadway across from the Main Theater if you’re looking for good Thai food in Denver) to get some ideas on presentation. However, as I have not found any other Thai place that tastes as good, I’ll overlook the presentation as I savor the delicious flavors.

Had the chicken green curry. Very delicious. Ask for the chili oil. They make it with fish oil. So good.

This is my ultimate go-to Thai restaurant. Reasonable price. Perfect for lunch time. Home like food and very friendly owner. I came here three times and he already remembered my face. They put their effort in every dish. Already took my colleagues here a few times. Would recommend this place for many people.

I ate the kee mao noodle beef which was good but a little on the zesty side. Overall the dish wasn’t all what the Unilocalers played it out to be. I also ate the fried rice which was excellent, very delicious.

Small restaurant, with cozy setting, good place for private date. Ordered Chicken panang and spring rolls, both were delicious. If you get a chance, try this authentic homestyle Thai food. Service was good and attentive. Portions are nice size and reasonably priced.

The great thing about this place is that it’s run by a couple and they keep the quality of their food up. The place is clean, affordable, and the taste is consistent. Service is fast and friendly.

Ate here the first time yesterday. Probably one of the hidden gems in Chinatown. They are located along Harwin near the NW intersection of Gessner. What I love about this place is that it’s owned and operated by a husband and wife. I could tell that there is great attention put on the food because they care, unlike restaurants that are operated by non-owners. I ordered the Chili Fish and the fried rice. The fish was fresh and crispy. The chili sauce was tangy, sweet, and spicy. The fried rice had ample meet and vegetable and was delicious. I finished both dish!
