I gone to a lot of Thai spots and Thai Cottage as of today is the best. The curry is always delicious and the service is great. I’m constantly raving about this place and telling my friends about it. I’m a customer for life.

I usually go there on my lunch break. The food is okay but last time I went there I got the garlic chicken for Togo. When I got to the office and checked the food I was so so disappointed. They only put 3 pieces of chicken in my food! I’m not going back there.

My favorite Thai spot in the city. I typically order the Garlic Fish with Fried Rice. YUMMY!

Good food! I enjoyed the Pad Kee Mow(Drunken Noodles) with chicken, spice level 2. It was plenty of food and delicious! We didn’t have a long wait after ordering our food, which was great. It was difficult to understand what drinks were considered«happy hour» because only a select few beers and wine were considered. It was nice that we got to sample some of the wines. The restaurant was clean, not very lit so kind of dark and quiet. The place is pretty small, but they weren’t busy when we came with a party of 8 on a Friday night. Overall, my experience was good!

The food was delicious and fairly priced. I really loved the taste of the spicy basil fried rice level 3 as it was the perfect combination of everything. They got the orders out for our group of 8 literally within 7 minutes of ordering them so I was very pleased with the service and efficiency. Definitely recommend this place and would return the next time I’m in Houston. One of the better Thai places for sure. Things they need to work on are the staff and the menu knowledge. We came at night for a birthday and the staff had trouble communicating to us and they also had trouble explaining the happy hour specials. We were misled and thankfully caught actual happy hour before being charged full price for a drink we thought was on happy hour. Just my two cents. Anyways, food was really good and fast so I really liked this place!

Pretty darn good Pad Thai. If you order spice x2, you will get a great combination of sweetness and spice. I ordered chicken which was diced. I would have preferred larger chunks of chicken. The salad with peanut dressing was ok. I have had much better dressing. Spring roll was not very good. Service was quick but they took a while to bring back the check.

Very excellent fresh spring rolls. Peanut sauce is amazing and the Spring Rolls are truly fresh. So happy they serve KJ Chardonnay, too. Dinner entrees were delicious with fresh vegetables. A true winner. Nice wait staff and atmosphere too! Will return.

I love the red chicken curry. Spice level 3 will get me going. I make it a point to stop here for this dish every time

I haven’t eaten in Thai Cottage in a few years. I work down the street from here, but my favorite go to place for Thai is Little Thai Café. Husband suggested we go here because we had to go to mass at St. Cyril down the street and were on a time crunch. He ordered the green fish curry and shrimp pad thai. The fish was two big fried fillets with curry poured on top. The fish itself was a bit salty and the curry had a nice kick for a level 3, but I wasn’t too enthused about the dish to be honest. The shrimp pad thai had some good size shrimps… noodles weren’t very abundant. I felt like it was mainly bean sprouts in the dish. Usually you can get about 4 servings from one dish, but this one felt more like 2 servings. So that plus an order of little dumplings for my bub came out to be like $ 33… expensive for what we got I thought. I’m thinking this place has gone a little downhill because of change in ownership. Seems like it is run by Vietnamese folks now so that’s probably why I question its authenticity.

Consistently delicious. I love the pineapple curry. My only complaint is that they are closed on Sundays(and holidays) when I am craving Thai food the most.

It’s a little hard to find since it’s a small narrow tenant space amongst all the larger, well known retail in the many buildings within the Carillion shopping center. This was my 2nd time trying Thai Cottage, once at the Weslayan location for lunch and once here for dinner. Both times I thought it served its purpose. If you’re already in Westchase, and don’t want to drive to go to the better thai restaurants in Houston, Thai Cottage is a good substitute. Nothing I’ve eaten has been downright delicious, but it hasn’t been bad either, same with the service here… thus the 3 stars. The typical items I order are the Tom yum soup and pad kee mow with beef or chili basil. Service is usually pretty decent.

Very disappointed with the quality of the chicken. I’m not sure if they changed their supplier but it has gone downhill the past few months. The chicken in various dishes has been very rubbery and chewy. Today, the Sensational Chicken which is usually the best in terms of tenderness was not only chewy but it was under cooked and we had to send it back. Sadly, I think it’s time for me to find a new regular lunch spot.

I’ve frequented this place for lunch! The dining room this charming and small, and the layout is well designed. Though it’s small, there’s plenty of room for the lunch crowd! The menu is great and has lots of variety! The food is always delicious, and the staff is efficient, so you can get in and out without rushing during your lunch! I highly recommend this place!

I usually get the standard Pad thai and don’t explore the menu too much. But this place was recommended by a good friend to try something new. I decided to broaden my horizon and tried the suggested«wings of paradise.» How can they even create something like that with a simple chicken wing? It puts the AWE in awesome sauce!!! STOP browsing the menu, you already know you’re going to eat the same entrée you always get… tell the waiter you want WINGSOFPARADISE!!!

Came for lunch and tried their BBQ pork rib and paradise wings. The pork ribs were obviously precooked and refrigerated. It was still cold when I bit into it! The wings were nothing to rave about. Sauce was way too sweet and my co-worker wasn’t too thrilled about his red curry. The restaurant itself was pretty nice looking and in a nice shopping center. Didn’t get a chance to test out their papaya salad but it doesn’t look like I’ll be returning.

This is a great joint for someone who’s looking for fast and delicious Thai food in the area. Their services are always right on the spot as well. I like their Tom Yum Soup, Pad Thai, Green Curry, Yellow Curry, and Seafood Basil. They have a handful vegan alternatives as well. I will defiantly come back for my Thai food fix.

Great lunch specials. I always get the yellow chicken curry and its tastes super authentic. During lunch it comes with a complimentary soup or salad and a fried egg roll. The salad is simple, but delicious. That peanut dressing!!! Service is hit or miss, but that’s normal in most Asian restaurants in my experience. Friendly, but not the speediest service.

I really like their lunch specials. They have a good variety of dishes at or around $ 6.95 to $ 7.50 during the lunch hour of 11am to 3p. For lunch, you get a small salad or soup, spring roll(fried) and a generous portion of items such as red curry, green curry, basil chicken, chicken and veggies, or my favorite pad thai. The only drawback of this place is that it fills up very quickly between 11:15 and 1pm. However, the wait is usually short. Because they’re so busy, you might get terrible service during that time. Just a FYI. Parking might be a disaster during the lunch hour because the location is located in the popular Carillion shopping center.

Got the lunch special — soup or salad, egg roll, and main dish for about $ 7 – 8. The food was good. Service was fast. It gets really busy during lunch. I got the yellow curry, and I loved it! For lunch, I’m always afraid the curry would be too overpowering, but it was mild and really delicious. Great place for a quick and delicious team lunch.

Came here for Sunday lunch and man was it packed! It’s a cute little joint. I got the chicken pad kee mow with 5 for spice level. The noodles were delicious, I love flat noodles like that and the portion was large. The tomato chunks were a bit large and overwhelming for my taste and the carrots could’ve been a cooked longer. I was really disappointed for the spice. It felt like it could’ve been a 2 for me. I think they based their spice level on an American standard, who can’t handle much spice. I’ve had really spicy thai papaya salad before that others thought were nothing. My bf got the sizzling beef. It was a bit too sweet in my opinion. I’m not a fan of sweet entrees. I feel like most people couldn’t finish their own plates if they each got one but my bf and I like to eat :)…
