The service is good and the food is yummy but we picked up a dozen cookies today and the Snickerdoodle tasted like how the cleaning product smells. I’m concerned that some have have splashed in the cookie mix or a kitchen surface had not dried before placing the dough in it. I ended up throwing the rest away so I don’t know if any of the others were affected as well.

Had a waffle cup peanut butter chocolate ice cream. I’m disappointed with the ice cream. I could only taste peanut butter cups in my first 2 spoons and after which, I could only taste chocolate. I wish there could be more peanut butter cups. However, I like the fact that they have unlimited mix-ins and that makes the ice cream worth it.

The ice cream here tastes more artificial than I remember it. Reminds me more of Baskin Robins in the way it tastes fake. That said, the mix in options are good and this location had a check in discount and is open late.

Got there extra early to order a cake… maybe too early. But Abel was courteous and friendly as he took my cake order. He even offered me a discount coupon that I could apply to the purchase of the cake. Ordered the Mocha Cappuccino Fudge cake for my granddaughter’s birthday and it was a hit! Service with a smile. Out-of-this-world flavors!

Delicious ice cream. Love the way you can see your ice cream being whipped up & its overall cleanness of the establishment. Would totally recommend My only complaint were that the staff seemed to be impatient trying to rush you out of the line. I did not like that.

I went to this marble slab because they have a «Great American Cookie» section. They had three people working the front counter. Only one other customer was in there besides me. It was very slow. I asked if they could decorate a regular sized cookie for me for my friends graduation. Literally NOBODY replied and everyone just got really shifty eyed. I asked again and said, «It doesn’t need to be anything extravagant.» Finally one of the guys says, «well what exactly do you want on it? We probably can’t fit anything on it.» I say, «I just want like a little graduation hat like the one in the picture or just the numbers ‘2015’»(there were pictures all over the place of cookies with graduation themes, yet, not one cookie in the store was pre-made with this — nothing looked picked over either) All of the people there get weird again and just look at each other. Nobody says anything. My boyfriend says, «oh can I have a snicker doodle too.» They just ring up his snicker doodle cookie and say, «is that all for you guys?» We are like«…um what about the graduation cookies?» AGAIN nobody responds… one guy walks to the back of the shop and then comes out and says, «we are out of frosting.» UH, okay. There were frosted cookies everywhere. It was in the middle of the day. I don’t see how they could’ve run out of frosting to where they couldn’t even write 2015 on the cookie. Everyone working was soooo weird about it. You could tell everyone was just lazy and didn’t want to do it. If they were in fact out of frosting, which I don’t believe ATALL by the way they were acting, then at least RESPOND to me the first time, don’t just repeatedly ignore me if you don’t feel like doing something. I Had to go buy my own frosting at Kroger. HORRIBLE customer service. I would give 0 stars if possible.

Went there to explain what happened. Neither requested nor spoke with the manager; I just spoke to the person at the counter. I did see the Double Doozies on display were stuffed just right, so I must conclude the one I wrote about previously was a random anomaly. However, I’m still very frustrated about the fact that their phone system neither works nor rings to the business.

Ok, so ice cream is my weakness is life! Marble Slab is my saving grace! It is right next door and it’s so convenient, too convenient! They have a good variety if flavors, but the best part is that now they have unlimited mix-ins! So, treat yourself to a cone soon!

10 percent off with check in! LAWWWWWWWWD! I could literally eat this all day errrrday for the rest of my life. First of all, when you walk in they greet you warmly and take your order ASAP, they dont even play– they get right down to giving you the best ice cream of your life. They have a large variety of different ice creams on one side, then on the other side they have a topping bar. So you pick your ice cream and they mix up the toppings at the bar, then on to a cone or cup, your pick. They have a wide variety of cones and cup sizes to choose from. Pretty extensive menu for an ice cream place. We got the sweet cream, with Oreos. Which is basically Cookies and Cream on crack. It is extremely tasty, tons of flavour and the texture and quality of ice cream is unbeatable. SOGOOD. Beats all your common ice cream parlours. You gotta hit this place up! Its a franchise, so Im assuming it would be safe to try out other locations too.

I went for a regular ice cream cone and the price was reasonable the only thing that I i STRONGLYDISLIKE is one of the managers due to her attitude. Her name is Rosa or Rocio something like that. She was just rude when asking for toppings like she was trying to hurry me up when there wasnt a line at all. The other employees kinda looked at her as well. I guess I caught her on a off day but I did not like her customer service. I will be going to another location.

Outdated model People want to mix there own mix ins and toppings. and section off yogurt separately It’s expensive too 7 bucks for ice cream without a waffle! Just go to another ice cream or yogurt shop.

Ice cream is always delicious. The service is always really good. Only reason I gave it 3 stars is because they spelled the name on my birthday cake wrong and didn’t offer to do anything about it; they could have thrown in some free candles or something but there was no manager around so I’m not sure if the employee had the authority to do that.

Omg, I love this Ice cream. They have a wide variety of flavors to choose from and you can mix them. My favorite is vanilla with Oreo cookies fudge and whip cream. Oh soo good! If you have never been here don’t wait another second and get here. You will not regret it.

Well, if you’ve been to a marble slab, then you pretty much know how it works. You wait in line, you figure out what you want: whether its’ something off the menu that they’ll mix for you, or if it’s just a scoop or two of ice cream of your own choosing. I’ve been to this location A LOT(I admit I have a small case… ok FINE! a BIGCASE of sweet tooth!) and every time I go, I’ve never had an issue with the ice cream, or cake, or the staffs not speaking much English. They ALWAYS get my orders right. But then again, it’s kind of hard to screw up an ice cream order when you just point to the wall and say«I’d like a small cookie dough drizzle» or, «small vanilla», or even pointing at a cake and say, «one cake». Anyway, the point is… I love Marble Slab. This location is the closest to me so I come to this one a lot and I get great service and great ice cream. But in general, I’ve never had any issue at any marble slab(maybe until one location proves me wrong). And don’t forget to get your stamp card!!! Marble Slab is good. But FREE Marble Slab is better!

This ice cream made my incredibly sad. I got the vanilla cinnamon, which was okay. I don’t recommend getting a big thing of it. The staff hardly spoke at all. The menu board was confusing as to what would cost me what, what was an upgrade, and if a mixin was included. Who designs a menu board like that? The interior was nothing to write home about. We sat on the bench outside and watched Westheimer traffic. All in all, we spent $ 12 on a very mediocre experience, which reminded me why I haven’t been to a Marble Slab in probably 10 years. With the help of this Unilocal review, I’ll remember not to go for another 10 years. There’s a Kroger down the way with waffle cones and Blue Bell. I recommend that.
