Total dive but a great place to watch the game. They had the Timbers on over the Seahawks this past Sunday which was a surprise but it turned out to be a nice atmosphere. They also are okay with you bringing in your child which was a plus for us. There are a ton of great bars in Hood River but if you’re just looking to dive out and watch the game then this is a solid option.

We walked in at 3:00 in the afternoon with four adults and three kids in tow. We hesitated to enter a salon with the kids but we had skipped lunch and were hungry and had only 50 minutes to grab a bite. We were greeted warmly and seated quickly. Good sign!
The place was quiet but still there were 3 customers at the bar, and a party of four seated at another table. The server was attentive, bringing water and menus quickly. She offered suggestions, samples of what was on draft, and was cheerful in her service to us. The food, which was good, arrived quickly, we had time to relax and not feel rushed. The restrooms were through a hall area shared with other businesses but clean. I would return.

Chick bartender was the absolute worst. Very expensive drinks and weak. Very poor service. Fun bar but they need to move on with the cranky fluffy woman bartender.

I recently read one of the service reviews and almost didn’t check this place out. We decided to see for ourselves and found that we liked it.
There’s a long bar with alot of seating, which I liked since that’s usually where I like to place myself. The bartender (slender, strawberry blonde) was friendly and attentive. We had already eaten dinner but I saw the wings coming out of the kitchen and they looked really good, so we will be back to check out the food.
Hopefully this will be one of our regular stops.

Closest thing to a real sports bar in the hood river area, Great selection of Micro and Macro beers, cider and spirits, normally have band most nights, Decent food also. my go to bar for sports unless its a morning game (then the red carpet inn is your only choice)

When it comes to bars, the River City is my home away from home. Back in the day I used to call it the River Shitty cause, well, it was pretty shitty. After it changed owners, it turned into my favorite bar in town. You can find me here after work enjoying a beverage and maybe playing some ping pong, Sundays for football, and most definitely late night rocking out to an amazing band. What I’m trying to say is, this place is a go to spot for any type of outing you’re looking for.
Ping pong, pool table, darts, plenty of TVs to cheer on your favorite teams, happy hour, live music (good live music at that), sometimes a DJ and the most important part (in my mind) the staff and owner. Always friendly, knock out tasty drinks, and working their bums off.
Some of my most favorite Hood River nights start with, «Remember that one night we were at the River City…»

On vacation and this place was recommended to watch the Seahawks game. Let me tell you this place did not disappoint. Awesome friendly staff, great food, and awesome selection of beers! We will be back and will always recommend this place!

Great burgers! Sweet potato fries. lots of great beers on tap. Friendly bartenders. Ranch dressing is really good, tastes like homemade. I’ve been going here for two years and love it. Good mixed crowd, come as you are. Lots of TVs to watch games.

Glenwood Springs, CO
Only came because every other place was closed as we tried to grab a cocktail after ten (gasp!). Thankfully, the bartender at Double mountain recommended this place and it is great. Little five bar with friendly staff and a full bar. Excellent beer choices, as to be expected in this area of the world. Had the Double Mountain IRA and was not disappointed. Come one, come all for last call at 11 pm! ;)
