It wasn’t long ago that Lattitudes had a chef on Top Chef serving contemporary Caribbean cuisine. Oh how things have changed. New menu which is essentially bar food. It lacks fresh fish, fresh pastas and interesting proteins and is replaced with burgers, pizzas and heavy appetizers. Unfortunately is really bad bar food. Nothing was prepared with care or finesse. The cheese doesn’t come melted on the sandwiches, the cole slaw was a slimy disgusting mess, under seasoned, wings were underdone, lacking presentation. Some of the worst bar food I’ve tried in a while. The patrons sitting on either side of me had a similar experience. I gave it two stars because the service was good and it’s located on the beach. The food gets one star. Marriott should be ashamed of themselves for serving this crap. Last time I’m staying here.

This restaurant has an awesome location. Right on the beach in Hollywood boardwalk. Its part of the Marriott Hotel. Service was great I cant deny it but to be honest Since it belongs to a hotel I was waiting greater food. And it seems it was all frozen and pre packaged. We didn’t like it. Its a shame since its a very nice spot to sit down, enjoy the view and relax. We got sliders, were good but only came 2, a shrimp salad, was less than Ok and a chicken quesadilla for our baby, tasteless.

Latitudes Tiki Bar and Restaurant is a nice place to enjoy breakfast on the beach. The bar may be misnamed: there is no tiki kitsch there. We opted for seating up front, which was literally on the boardwalk. The ocean view was wonderful, and the people watching was great. The food was very tasty. My partner ordered the All American Breakfast: bacon, eggs, crispy potatoes and toast. I ordered a Meat Lover’s Omelette. The potatoes accompanying each breakfast were actually very small latkes. My omelette was perhaps a little overcooked, but it tasted great. We were very entertained when the children at a table near us tossed some bread to the seagulls and were quickly surrounded by about a thousand aggressive, screaming seagulls. That was worth the price.

Food is excellent, view is amazing, price is reasonable and the service is second to none. Ask for Trey; he is an amazing person with the perfect balance of professional service with a personal touch…

We found this place on Unilocal and decided to try it because it had an Ocean view. I had the All American breakfast and the food was so good. I’m not a huge breakfast lover but everything was fabulous and I knew I would be back. The staff was nice, the view couldn’t have been better and they made my softly scrambled eggs with cheese perfectly. The crispy potatoes were out of this year world and so was the bacon. My friend had the buffet and she said everything was fabulous on there too(especially the chicken apple sausage. I have to say two weeks later I brought my parents back(for the awesome breakfast and an awesome walk on the boardwalk afterwards). They were doing a lot more construction on the hotel and the noise was annoying plus you had to walk ALL the way around to the buffet(your food could easily get cold on the way). My eggs weren’t cooked quite as perfectly but my parents raved about the food. I will most certainly be back. Hopefully they’ll have the construction done by the time I do.

The only reason this place is getting two stars is because of the service. The location of this restaurant is great. It is right on the boardwalk. Great views when dining outside. I wish people would stop feeding the birds. Its clear the birds have no fear of humans as they fly and prop themselves at tables where people are seated. The food is disappointing!!! I ordered the Turkey Burger. How do you mess that up? I received a uncooked turkey burger. I took a bite and instantly spit it out. I was disgusted. To the cooks at Latitudes you can’t serve raw poultry!!! Our waiter Noël apologized profusely. I was sick to my stomach. My friends had the smoked turkey wrap, they said it was ok. I ordered one alcoholic beverage, it must have been ready for awhile before i got it. The ice was completely melted, and i didn’t taste any alcohol in my drink. Our server was vey apologetic and tried to do everything he could to turn our situation around. I was over it already. The mgr took my food off of the check. I was thankful but I really wanted to enjoy the whole experience of this business. Would I return? No, I’m afraid I may get sick. Latitudes has a great and friendly staff but the food and drinks aren’t good at all.

Great location. Live music. Good service but the food was cold. French toast and pastries were old. Will not be back.

We stopped in one evening after dinner to watch the beach and waves as the sun went down behind us. The bar is right on the beach, only separated by the«Broadwalk»(a paver path way). It’s in the Marriott in Hollywood and it’s staffed by very friendly people who are always smiling and greet you right away. The drinks were rather pricey, as is the food from looking at the menu. There are soooo many other options in the area, within a short walk along the Broadwalk that are cheaper and offer views just as nice. They really should offer a happy hour here too, which they don’t… at least we were advised that they didn’t.

My husband and I came here for breakfast– we choose the $ 18 buffet which comes with your coffee and drinks(non alcoholic). Totally worth it. They had all the regular options scrambled eggs bacon, sausage, French toast, Belgian waffles, fresh fruit, yogurt, oatmeal and a chef to cook to order omelettes. The wait staff was very kind and the view is awesome– if you eat outside. It’s nice for a Sunday drive!

They need to fire the head chef. Red onions in cherry juice on a mahimahi sandwich. Really disgusting. The chef doesn’t have a good palate. The crispy fish sandwich was the same fish they use for fish and chips. The service from our waitress was horrible. However, the male Waiter(tall and handsome) was there to help when our waitress was mia. She was clueless. He treated us great. I will ask for him if I decide to go there again. The positives. ahi poke tuna is good. Location, location. Also, it would help if they use less frozen meat products. Handmade hamburger patties, hand dipped fish filets would elevate the flavor and freshness.

We stayed close by the Marriott and were recommended the buffet for breakfast. It lived up to all the expectations and then some. The bacon was amazing for anyone who is a bacon lover like myself. From the view of the beach to the smooth ocean breeze, this place was so great we came back the next day for an encore. Luckily, we were served again by Victoria, who only added to our amazing experience with her smile and great positive attitude.

The crab cakes are really good. The beach side music on Friday night was also enjoyable. I would recommend more staff on busy weekends as it took forever to get our food and even longer to get our bill. We enjoyed our stay, but thought the bar and restaurant could have benefited from more staff.

Turkey burgers and Chicken Cob salads are great. Add some beers and an ocean side table and your all set. Sure beats MN cold.

We had brunch here, it was great. Our server, Trey, was awesome. We also came for drinks one day, service was OK. The bloody marys have a good flavor. The harvest salad was very good! Mimosa was fresh.

Typical good bar and grill food. You’re paying for the view! Which I don’t mind. Love stopping by here for drinks and the view.

Thanksgiving dinner. Awful. A lot of stuff was out so they said. No key lime pie as advertised. And no sweet potatoes as advertised. Drinks are awful. Seems like bartender doesn’t know what they are doing. And when you ask the server. They don’t know what to do and disappear. Not pleased. Especially driving 40 min here Bc it was supposed to be so good. Not at all.

Nothing but good things to say about this place. Great service, good drinks, and great atmosphere. I come here with my family every year on vacation for a week, and we’re never disappointed.

This place has a lot of nerve offering a Thanksgiving buffet: – Their layout is grossly inadequate for the number of people served. – We had a 5:00 reservation. When I was on their long line, they ran out of turkey. «There’s another one in the oven cooking!» a manager said. I had a couple of scraps that were left in the heater. My mom had no choice but to eat roast beef. Neither of us had sweet potatoes, since none were available. – No point on waiting on line again for the food we missed — we really wanted Thanksgiving turkey! — by 5:45 the line was ridiculous and customers were yelling. –The dining room was noisy, drab and cold – Our waiter — this may have been his first night serving — was harried and unprofessional. We would have had a better Thanksgiving meal had we ordered the blue plate special at Denny’s — and it would have been a hell of a lot cheaper. January 2014 Update: By the way, I put my complaint in writing, and sent it off to both the general manager of the Marriott, and Latitude’s g.m. Neither person — and I had called for their names and titles — had the decency to respond. This place sucks.
