Hemmingway’s Bistro & Cafe

This is a great new restaurant to the area. The portions are huge and it gets busy early. The have a large menu to select from. We had the french onion soup and rack of lamb which both were great. We look forward to going back soon

The food was fantastic. Very large portions, and you can’t beat the price. The dining room was very clean with linen napkins and table cloths. The staff was very friendly and fun. Every thing that came out of the kitchen looked great. The best chicken parm in town.

I thought I’d check this place out, I was not impressed, I might give it a second chance. I tried the grouper, it looked good on there site. I found the sauce to be tasteless, sauce was lumpy i think with flour, no lemon taste and no lemon on my plate. Waiter seemed to busy to bother to ask.
Also what bother me is that the table next to me I think were friends with owner. I was already finished my salad, and was waiting for my entrée, when they place there order,. as I’m still waiting for my entrée there entrees arrive to there table. I was like whattttt, like where is mine. and no wonder my entrée was cold…

They need an attitude adjustment because I chatted with the girl at the desk and inquired about the restaurant, as I’m in this mall frequently, and she gave me basic information, paper menus and such like. I told her I was doing business at the TMobile next door and would come back for dinner. I asked if she would like me to do a Unilocal review and she said, «Absolutely!» Photos normally accompany reviews and I asked if she wanted them; «Yes, by all means.», was her response. I took three photos of the overall restaurant and two of wall décor. The manager came over to me and said that customers were complaining. How ludicrous can you get as they only had two diners. I told the manager I would try to delete the photos, make only comments about their operation as I viewed their attitude, but would take a pass on dining this evening.
Most new places are anxious to have reviewers, but apparently not this new joint. Pity!

Went for lunch the other day and the food is fantastic the service was great! Our server he was superb we had the their lunch special that day churrasco steak, oh my was that good came with home made mashed potato’s and fresh green beans, my friend had the grilled salmon salad served over fresh salad greens the salmon was fresh and grilled to perfection and it was such a big piece of salmon it was just great. This is just a great neighborhood Bistro and will be back often.

Hemmingway’s Bistro and Café is a brand new restaurant in Dania Beach. They serve steaks, fresh fish, rack of lamb, mussels and many other American favorites. The interior is inviting and comfortable, and the staff are extremely warm and personal. It was busy while we were there, they offer a «Sunset Menu» and there seemed to be quite a few seniors taking them up on low prices. The food here was very good, tasted fresh and wholesome, and came in healthy portions. My Grouper Francois was delicious. My friends rainbow trout was also very good. A full dinner for both of us with salad, dessert and two glasses of wine was about $ 50, a great value. They need to expand their beer and wine selection. No liqour is served here. I would recommend Hemingway’s and I’m sure I will dine here again soon.
