Great food and service but the photographer who harassed us to buy her tourist trap photos was an annoyance I could have done without. Wouldn’t go back for that reason alone unfortunately.

Delicious Steak Burger, Chicken Grill Burger, Large plate of Fries. Really Great services!

Service is good and very friendly.
Food, amazing. I built my own burgers and I dare say it came out as good, if not better, than some of those «gourmet burgers» places out there. My wife went for the tuna salad sandwich and it was excellent. They were serious when they say it is made fresh.
When you are here and you don’t go for one of their shakes you will be missing out.

We had a wait outside the door in a crowded, dirty, noisy walkway for a few minutes on a Saturday night, but it wasn’t more than 15 minutes or so.
Once inside, we were seated and received prompt & friendly service. We ordered a couple of burgers and an order of fries to split, with water to drink. Total with tip was about $ 32… more than I am used to paying where I normally go, but then I don’t normally eat a few feet from where they do the Academy Awards Show.
Fries were not served hot; actually not even warm, a disappointment. But my burger with swiss, mushrooms and onions was one of the best of it’s type I’ve ever had.
The atmosphere here is hectic, maybe bordering on chaotic, and certainly not relaxing. This is the high rent district; get in, eat, and get the hell out… that table has to pay for itself by the end of the night.

Came here on Saturday night before going over to el Capitan I thought that it would be crowded and have to wait for a booth but no they sat us down quickly the food was good especially the beacon cheese fries service was great very clean and quick service

Came here on a visit to Walk of fame. While my kids and I were eating inside a man came in with a huge dog asking about keys… well staff didnt have them and so the man proceeded to go to the table where apparently he sat down earlier and made a family with heka kids get up and search around that space for his keys. The whole time staff didnt stop him or asked him to take his huge as dog outside. Nothing against dogs but this dog was huge and almost sniffing our food next to our table. The food sucked, my kid got a kids meal cheeseburger that had rubber balls in there. My chicken sandwich got me sick for the whole weekend. Overall food customer service lacked taste and great customer service.
Still wondering if there is sometype of city ordinace against animals in food places in LA, mind you the grilling for burgers at this place is right there!!! The dog and this man were only 5 feet away!

The food was really good here. Great service our waitress was very helpful. Love the added smiley face of sauce its cute. The food was really really good. We did not wait long at all and it was very busy. The waitress was constantly topping up our refillable drinks didn’t have to ask once. The peanut butter milkshake was amazing!

Best burgers ever. Want to eat here more often. If you feel like you should too here’s some tips

I was visiting Los Angeles on a business trip came early to explore LA, while I was walking the wall of fame i stopped here. Im from Texas and we don’t have many of these here and i always wanted to try this place. I gotta say the shakes are really good, better than i expected. It was not that busy when i arrived at the restaurant and the staff was very friendly and attentive. If i see another Johnny Rockets while im traveling ill definitely get the shakes again.

There’s no reason not to come here. I’ve eaten here a couple of times and I’ve never had any major issues with the food, atmosphere, or staff. They always get my order right. A minor concern I have is that sometimes I have to wait around with no one to seat me, but it’s never more than like 5 minutes.
If you come here you have to try their milkshakes, they have a lot of options and the portions are pretty large. I’m boring so I always get vanilla, but I love it because it’s perfectly creamy. I got my first float today and I recommend that.
As for the food, I usually get the bacon cheddar or make my own burger (you can choose from a variety of free condiments like mayo, sauces, lettuce, tomato, caramelized onions, etc. and also pay for additional things like fried egg, bacon, mushrooms, etc).

If you are near the Dolby Theatre in Hollywood and want a great breakfast… go to Johnny Rockets! Sunday morning 10:00 am had the restaurant to ourselves! Enjoyed a great breakfast with fantastic service! .best kept secret breakfast spot on the walk of fame!

Food is just how I remember it decades ago. Filling and great. Service at this site is also very good.

Wow!!! You have to try the tater tots covered with cheese and bacon, they are really yummy. The chicken club sandwich was eh. The chicken was flat and about ¹⁄₃ the size of the photo shown. Go for the TOTS!!!

More like Johnny Vomits!
After a gruelling flight from Australia, we checked into our hotel and set off to explore Hollywood Blvd. We were hot and tired by dinner time and saw Johnny Rockets in the Hollywood and Highland complex. We had a Johnny Rockets in Perth, Australia, many years ago and we were keen to try it our again with our sons, 15 and 13.
We ordered the usual fare, burgers and chicken strips and my husband ordered the chilli fries, which came out smothered in a thick sauce. Well, we ate everything, the burgers were nice and only my husband ate the chilli fries. He mentioned they tasted fatty and ended up eating only three quarters of the serving. We went back to our hotel tired and ready for bed.
My husband woke up at about 3am pacing the room with an upset stomach. He ended up spending the whole night in the bathroom, vomiting up the fatty chilli fries until there was nothing left.
We had plans for our first full day in LA but sadly, my husband spent the day in bed and in the bathroom while I had to take the boys out. He lost a whole day because of those fries, and we went back to Johnny Rockets to tell the manager. We did not want anything, no free food or vouchers, just to let him know he better check the freshness of his chilli sauce so no other customers experience what my husband went through. He hung his head and pretended to be interested, but really, he could not care less.
We left the restaurant feeling frustrated and very disappointed. We will never set foot in a Johnny Rockets restaurant ever again.

The Service: Our server, Matthew, is super sweet. Very attentive and friendly. Checked on us a few times. We sat at the bar and saw all the staffs are working hard and very efficiently.
It is a very busy location because it is located at Hollywood & Highland Center on the 2^nd floor.
The Food:
Vanilla Milkshake — LOVE LOVE LOVE, real ice-​cream and milk. Besides the milkshake glass they serve, they also give you any leftover. So it is about 1.5 glasses of milkshake!
Original Burger — Love it when they toast the buns on the grill. Good size of the beef patty. Fresh meat, not frozen.
The Parking: 2 hours for $ 2 with restaurant validation

The cheese burger is very good, I ordered a double, and is very well served, I found very good snack, cooked and too fast, the only thing is that the environment is very old and a bit decadent, but all very clean and the staff were friendly in attendance. Recomed the place, very good.

If I could give NEGATIVE –5 stars I would… this place is a joke. food was good but the SERVICE??? HAAAA, I thought I was on a TV show being «Punked» we walk in to a greeter texting on his phone, totally ignoring ALL the customers, we and another part had to seat ourselves, then he sat at the counter area and Continued in his text convo, his back to the door while several customers came in then left… NEVER AGAIN… STAY AWAY

Food is pretty good, I like that I can substitute turkey patty for the beef patty:)
This location is small but they served us pretty fast. I only gave 3 stars cus… They automatically brought water with ice to our table. I can’t drink cold drinks with ice cause I have a sore throat so I can’t drink it. I don’t wanna ask for another glass without ice cus I feel guilty cause we have a water shortage. Had we been asked first I would have requested water without ice. I shall drink this and my throat will hurt :(

Les burgers sont sans plus … Beaucoup trop gras, les frites n’ont vraiment rien d’exceptionnelle…

Located back off street on the second floor in the Hollywood Highlands center. Retro place with mini juke boxes at table with songs for a nickel. 50s, 60s and 70s music. French fries served warm and a little greasy, with ranch dressing. Onion rings interesting, Panko bread crumbs, pretty good taste, not greasy, but tough. The Smokehouse burger was okay with a mishmash on ingredients that didn’t complement each other. I liked it was wrapped in paper to keep your keel your hands clean. Okay people.

Es kommt auf den Burger an, angeblich. Meiner Erfahrung nach schmeckte der Burger nach nichts, es fehlte komplett die Würze. Jedoch sind die süßen fritten einen Versuch wert. Das Ambiente ist typisch amerikanisch und die Bedienung war freundlich.

L’ambiance est génial! On a l’impression de se retrouver dans les grandes années du rock’n’roll. Le décor est de circonstance. Les burgers et les frites sont de très bonnes qualités. Dans les meilleurs que j’ai mangé à LA.
