Wasn’t a fan of the one in City walk and definitely not a fan of this one too. Chicken wings were not cooked throughly. I got a burger and asked for medium well and it was rare and greasy. The lettuce it came with was soak so it made my burger greasy and soggy. Why the two stars? The vibe was cool, the place was clean and the service was good.

Went with a friend of mine before catching a movie at the El Capitan across the street. Found a table in the bar. The server seemed irritated that she had to be there. Maybe she thought we weren’t gunna tip, maybe she was having an off day. No greeting, no smile, very much«tell me what you want.» Table next to us sent a drink back and I actually saw her sigh and roll her eyes. I get it, I’ve been a bartender for 8 years. It’s frustrating. But we also work in customer service. Food was mediocre at best. Three stars cause we were in and out in time for our movie and the vibe was cool. Oh, and we left. $ 12 tip on a $ 40 tab.

I’m giving this place two stars because the food is quite good. Our waitress, however, made herself INVISIBLE. Sitting here, freezing, drinks empty, and she is nowhere. Had to ask other servers for condiments, refills, and our check. And we were early for the lunch shift. Maybe the second table to be sat? Place was empty till about a half an hour after we got here. Not like she was busy with other tables. She came over with a refill for ONE of us; seemed surprised that that person already had a refill and didn’t seem to notice that my cup was still empty. Had to ask for more creamer and sugar when I finally got my coffee; took at least 10 minutes to deliver. I’m livid. And of course she is now bugging us to pay the check. Checked on us more since we got our check than she did the whole meal. Will NOT be back.

The service was really bad at this restaurant. Our food took forever to come out, it took one hour for a party of 6. No updates from our server, we had to ask our server to check what was going on with out food. After 80 minutes, he finally went to the back to check and we finally got out food. When we got our food it wasn’t as got as it should be, it felt as if our food sat in the back for a while before our server took it to our table. We asked for the server to take our picture and even this took 15 minutes to get as he told us to wait and he’d be right back twice before he finally got back to us. I won’t be back.

I’ve been here twice now and the service and atmosphere are excellent! You would hardly know there is a freak show going on just outside the front doors but hey it is Hollywood. The place is really clean and well kept inside. I would have given 5 stars but the prices are steep but I guess that is expected considering you are in Hollywood. I will definitely come back again.

Honestly, you know what you’re getting when you go here. It’s mainly for the tourist so be prepared for that. The service was good and we went on a Friday night and there wasnt a wait. They had rock karaōke while we were there and that was quite entertaining. The wings were shockingly good and the drinks were strong. So I cant complain. Of course it’s congested in this area and parking is tough so be prepared.

The Twist & Shout Shake is extremely good that Vincent’s $ 5 overrated milkshake from #PulpFiction is nothing next to it. It contains #Guinness, #Bacardi, Vanilla ice cream, chocolate syrup, caramel, whipped cream and pieces of bacon(yes, bacon lol). It’s so good that it deserved a low-angle extreme close-up shot and those purple beam lights in the background were just perfect timing to enhance how powerful the shake is. #HardRockCafe #HollywoodBlvd

I cannot believe I actually enjoyed food from a chain restaurant. I am actually quite against them but I guess the truth is that we had our server Marco’s undivided attention since there were not many people out on a late night Wednesday(9:30PM or so. He immediately took our drink orders while we decided on appetizers to share. He definitely tried to convince us to get the souvenir cups but we were in no need of them. I had the strawberry mojito which was nothing special. However, our appetizers were certainly delicious! We had the Tupelo chicken which came with a barbecue and mustard dipping sauce. We loved how crispy the chicken was and how much flavor was in it as well. The fries were also perfectly crispy and had some fresh ground pepper sprinkled on top. We got the potato skins which already came with cheese and bacon to be topped with avocado, a definite must have! We decided to tell the server about our friend’s upcoming birthday and were able to get her an ice cream dessert for free! We enjoyed our visit and were happy with our service!

I’m a big fan of Hard Rock Café they’re so popular and famous of their rock n roll themed chain. Rockin energy vibe! This location is in the middle of the tourist spot in LA. Hollywood walk of fame ! My stomping ground lol! Actually great location lots of parking in this building and shopping mall. Overall, love the music, huge restaurant lots of seatings, beautiful memorabilia it’s like a museum! Very modern vibe. Our food was okay, had a good Norwegian salmon with veggies, kids & hubby had burgers and bacon macNcheese. Our server was kinda slow I guess it was okay we had fun plus we got to keep new souvenir glasses from our drinks –the strawberry basil drink for $ 10 bucks. We had a blast here! They’re next to the Chinese theather, Dolby theather, Madame Tussaud and walk of fame!!! And got awesome $ 10 off checkin at Unilocal!Woot!!! Woot !

We came in after the lunch crowd and got seated right away, which was nice. Our waitress, Silvia, was excellent. Very friendly and around when we needed her. The food was also good and came quickly. The only«issue» we had was when I checked in on Unilocal and it gave us a coupon for $ 10 as a thank you for checking in. We showed it to Silvia and a few minutes later she returned and said the manager didn’t want to honor it. I told her I’d be sure to include that in my review. She returned again a few minutes later and said they would actually be honoring it, which they did. Not sure why the manager would make a big fuss first. Oh well.

For this to be right in the middle of Hollywood Blvd, it was only a 15 mins wait to be seated. Now onto the food. I had the Salmon dish. It came with Broccoli and mash potatoes, but I dined the mash for a side Caesar solid. I also ordered coffee because I am a little tired. The coffee was pretty much horrible. Not the worse I ever had, but nothing close to the best. The food just seemed no frills normal food. My daughter had the loaded Mac and cheese. She added bacon and said the bacon was the only thing she liked about it. I tried it and it was just ok. 1 hour and 15 mins from the time we walked in until we walked out. Wish I could give a 3.5 stars. The service pushed it up to a 4.

Food was good but they were setting up the stage and we had to listen to feed back for ten minutes. Then i tried to use the check in discount and they said«that shouldn’t be available» well it was they fixed the receipt finally. Cause the best thing to do on your girlfriends birthday is haggle about money. i gave them my card to pay and the total was back to the original price. I was gunna leave a tip but they underlined the tip percentages and then overcharged me so i didn’t leave one. And sure enough they took the original total out rather then the check out discount price. Good food bad service.

Saw a few celebrities here who were there for a screening at the theatre next door. I don’t care because I am here for the chicken nuggets and could give a damn about any of the famous people. The problem is the wait and the«cater for the mass» restaurants which makes the food crappy.

I’d like to go on the record to say this was the second time I’ve sent back food in my life. If I order a steak and its not quite done right I normally just eat it. But last night I ordered a New York steak medium rare and it was barely rare, almost blue. I sent it back and requested the next be medium. I was told it was being rushed out. I waited for at least 20 minutes at which point the rest of the table had almost finished eating. I know enough about cooking steaks to know the one I got back, which was barely medium rare, had not been on the grill more than about 6 minutes, unless that grill wasn’t hot enough, yet my «rushed out» steak took 20 mins and was still under done. It really wasn’t a good steak either, but I ate what I could as I was pretty starving at this stage. Then this morning, the kicker — I have food poisoning(diarrhea!!) On top of this the service was rather questionable, having to ask twice for drinks we ordered for example, and for the record the place wasn’t at all busy. I will never go back to this Hard Rock Café, or probably any other for that matter.

Long wait to get your food, I didn’t like the fact that my appetizers came at the same time as my dinner but still one of the dinner plates for one of my guest was missing and didn’t come until 15 minutes later. Plates for appetizers were wet I had to dry em with a napkin. Staff feels rush and careless for their customers. Dirty bathrooms. I been to many HardRocks around the US as I travel for work and sorry to say this one that happens to be in my home town has been the worst. If I was a 1st time customer experiencing all the above I would never go back to any HardRocks but my experiences in the other states have been good I just won’t come back to this one in Hollywood.

I tell ya, I’ve been having terrible luck with Hard Rock’s lately! And they are probably one of my favorite places to eat, typically. Even living by one and being a local I still would usually pay the prices to eat there even as touristy inflated as they are. We drove up from San Diego a couple weeks ago just to hang out and bum around LA for a while. My GF had never been to this one so we sat in the bar at a table for lunch. How the meal panned out was hilarious because it was mind boggling. So, if you read my last review of HR in San Diego, you’ll see it’s seemingly impossible to order a burger«well done», at least with my luck. So, we go here and I get what I frequently get at Hard Rock besides Mac N’ Cheese, which is also typically amazingly delicious. So, my GF orders a salad that has egg on it but asked for it a couple times with no tomato. She hates tomato. So, my turn to order and I get the Legendary Burger, again. I upgrade to onion rings instead of fries, side of honey mustard and ranch. We wait for the food over a beer. A few minutes later I get a huge plate of onion rings… I tell the food runner basically we didn’t order a platter of onion rings but instead I had them substitute for fries. He says he’ll talk to the waiter. I ask for honey mustard. The waitress then brings honey mustard as well as him. Now I have a platter of onion rings and enough honey mustard to make an entrée of soup. The waitress is cool and says she’ll take care of and I was cool with eating it before my burger. About ten minutes later my burger shows up with french fries. At this point I just want to make sure I’m not getting charged for all this. So, I bite into my burger… DINGDING… it’s pink. I ordered it well done. I cut it open so the waitress could see and she agreed. Rare. Yuck. So, at the same time my GF is digging in her salad realizing they forgot to leave the tomatoes off. So, the waitress comes back, takes both of our food to remake. «Beer please». So, a few minutes later her salad gets dropped off. A few minutes after that the waitress checks on us. This time the salad had no tomato but they forgot her egg, like one of the main items on the salad she ordered! So, they literally brought an egg out on a plate. It was so awkward I just wanted to leave or laugh. I wished I had my GoPro with. So, someone must have seen I had honey mustard and ranch on the order and not knowing I already had a lake of it. I get MORE honey mustard and ranch. I thought people might start using my table as a condiment buffet. Like walk-by dippings. AGH! Long story short, it was quite a Charlie Foxtrot. The cool thing was the head chef came out and apologized as well as the waitress. They were both cool about it, acknowledged it was a mess and paid for our entire meals and bought us one beer. They went the extra mile to make sure it was right and we appreciated it. I’m still detoxing from the honey mustard, because I ate mostly all of it… like two sides per onion ring but it’s all good. Cool ambiance inside, radical people watching outside. We will definitely go back and give it one more round.

I was out with some friends, strolling down Hollywood Bl when we had to eat. I didn’t think Hard Rock would be easy being located right in the heart of the tourist filled boulevard. We took a chance. We had a group of 9 and for seated in under 15 minutes — and the place was busy. Got a cool table to ourselves up front. Our waiter was awesome. Even though his tag said Jose upside down he was Josh. LOL. HE had a great attitude, joked around s little and didn’t rush us. He took our orders, offered up suggestions helped us find things we liked. When the food came his team also helped bring out the food so we didn’t have to wait for several trips from the kitchen. I got the twisted mac chicken and cheese plate. Josh recommended it as a favorite. It was very good. Plenty of mac and cheese with a hint of hot sauce. Pieces of chicken were mixed in, I only wish there was a bit more. Otherwise pretty darn good. Looks like a small serving but it was filling. I also sampled the classic nachos. It’s in the starters section on the menu, but honestly you could eat it as a meal — even is you shared. I love nachos so I was in to it. They were pretty loaded and tasted hot and fresh. I wasn’t expecting much from Hard Rock nachos but they were good. It’s always fun to walk around and see all the music memorabilia and performer gear. Like a mini museum in a restaurant. Here they had Eddie Van Halen’s famous guitar which was cool. I also liked the old school reebok pump high tops. Blast from the past. This was a great retreat from the busy foot traffic on the street. Lighting was dimmed to relax the mood and good music videos were playing. Also it was interesting to see the street performers and characters come in for water every now and then.

I would give more stars for the décor and popularity but food is really not impressive at all. The salad we got had dried, sad looking leaves in it, almost yellow«greens»… Obviously old greens. The pasta we ordered was not good! They call that tomato sauce!!! It’s a joke what they serve. The broccoli that came with it was huge but overcooked and it tasted like was waiting a long time around the kitchen to be served. Bottom line: food is not fresh here. I like the big good looking kitchen that is visible to customers but not tasty stuff coming out of there. The service?! In the middle of Hollywood with so many nice, great restaurant the service here is terrible: slow, basic, not helpful, down attitudes, not exited to meet new people from around the world. Our server got the dessert and we had to ask for spoons. He asked: «you need spoons?» Yah!!! Should we use our fingers? And we literally looked at our dessert for 3 – 4 min(torture) till he got us spoons. Dessert was sweet:)) good ice-cream. The server sensed I wasn’t happy about the whole experience and he goes:“you see all those people that just came in? Now I have to go serve them all!” Ya, was a big group but is that why you took forever with everything? Why you tell me that? Not my fault you are so exited with your job. It’s a big room, wasn’t that busy anyway but there are lots of servers. Should be ok and fun to be working in a place like that. Just because they have a name they don’t try to impress anymore?! Too bad…

I love the Hard Rock’s vibe. Especially this one was quite nice — large area, lively music, fun décor. They had a lot of different mementos from the rock stars and even though we sat close to the kitchen there was hardly any smell of food at all. We were greeted by a nice waitress with(as we learned later) a great sense of humor. She offered to take a photo of us like three times(is that a thing now in America or we just looked very much like typical turists: D?). We decided to order some spicy chicken wings and a pizza with pepperoni and avocado. The wings were nothing special, really forgettable, but the pizza was amazing. Super tasty and they didn’t cut back on avocado, which sometimes happens. But the most important part were the drinks! They had an interesting fruity summer series with energizers in it. All tasted great and we got a free jar-shaped glasses at the shop near the entrance. We also accidentally left the camera case with batteries in it at our table, but there was no problem with getting it back the same day. Everyone was super nice about it. Way better than Hard Rock in Warsaw.

Three stars mainly for the ambiance. I’ve had mixed experiences here. Some great, some not so great. Sometimes the food is great, other times it seems like the chef is drunk. The food is overcooked at times, or even under-cooked. There’s a thing called consistency, utilize it! The high prices here aren’t justified because of the lack of consistency. The ambiance is awesome, I love the little TVs at the booths playing music videos, they played«AMEN» by Halestorm, our favorite band! ^^ The liquor is pretty awesome, my sister’s boyfriend can attest to that. The desserts are really awesome, but sometimes they can be bit too much. You can almost hear«In The Hall Of The Mountain King.» playing in your mind as you are overtaken by such huge portions, and potential insulin shock, but that’s not to say that the desserts aren’t delicious. The waitstaff is a crap shoot. You either get an excellent waitresses/waiters who go above and beyond, or a schmaltzy actor trying to get into Hollywood or rude bitchy waitresses/frustrated actresses and the wannabe goth waitresses, they have the worst attitudes. There are people with PhD’s, or people trying to become citizens that would love to take those waitstaff jobs. Also, there’s no vegetarian or vegan options, which kinda sucks ’cause I have friends who visit me, and if we want to go out to eat, than this place is out of the question, unless you want some cocktails or something like that. The manager is a jerk, especially if there’s an event going on there, he just shoos you away from the door, like a dog, and is nasty to anyone not invited. No «I’m sorry, we are closed for a private event, thank you for your patronage and understanding, but please come back another night.», it’s more like«We’re closed for a private event. Go away.»…Well fuck you too! I wouldn’t recommend this place except maybe to celebrate a birthday or to greet an out of town guest, if you have the money. We only go because my sister’s boyfriend gets gift cards to eat out here from his employers as an occasional gift or workplace merit.

Wow I usually stay away from tourist traps especially places like Hollywood & Vine! However since I was there to see Star Wars at El Capitan & Chinese Mann theatre I ended up coming here with a group of my friends. The bar was very friendly & open. The food though I am still trying to figure out how this place is so much better than the one at Universal Studios Hollywood. It’s the same food, same preparations but the quality is so much better here. In fact the entire ambiance here is like when Hard Rock first came out and they were quite cool. So for me being a LA person… I will come back! Maybe I will see Rey /Daisy Ridley next time. One can only dream!

I live in the area and everywhere had a wait but this place. Decided to give it a shot. The menu is pretty pedestrian and over priced for what is pretty much a scaled down TgiFridays selection. I got fajitas and my buddy got a Cobb salad as we’re pretending to be relatively healthy. The fajitas were very something I would avoid, but that’s my fault for ordering fajitas at the Hard Rock Café. Stupid me. To their credit this place is designed really well, has a really cool wait staff, and probably the best potato skins I’ve ever had. All that being said they screwed up our first and last time there. Our main entrees came out literally 50 minutes after our meals. I know this cuz I shamefully snapped a picture to boast about how amazing the potato skins are and the time was on there. I do understand that their restaurant is massive but not nearly an hour to get my food over. Seriously though these servers must walk 8 miles a day during a part time shift. When the food finally arrived my friend’s salad was wrong and I had no utensils. They sent over the«manager» and he definitely needs a little more training. He came off as racist in my opinion. He shook my friend’s had and not mine, he grabbed utensils off an empty table put them on my table like I was dumb for being polite, and he would barely acknowledge me and never even really made eye contact. He gave my white friend all the attention in the world and also comped his salad. He didn’t even apologize to me. My food took 50 minutes too! I don’t need anything for free, but an apology or the handshake given to the guy next to me would have made it fine. So, I hope they give this failed rockstar looking dude a chance at some training courses. I’ve worked in fine dining if he’d like some helps. I probably won’t be back, but if I do I’m just going to the bar for drinks and those potato skins. I mean this is the only negative review I’ve ever written.

Very nice HRC location, conveniently located at Hollywood and Highland. They accommodated us for our conference sessions yesterday. We were offered waters and later soft drinks, and they also provided us with a full buffet meal later, which was delicious — Caesar salad, broccoli, tea and water, a brisket type thing which apparently is called«tri tip» and is popular here in CA(and was delicious!), and twisted mac ‘n cheese. I don’t even like mac and cheese usually but this kind was delicious. I’d come back here again when in the area. Décor was fun, too.

I came here to celebrate my brother turning 21 and eat something before we went into Dolby Theater. I made a reservation well over a week in advance for 5 for 6:00 pm. We arrived about 15 minutes early prepared to wait 15+ minutes but they sat us immediately. The hosting staff was sweet and attentive. We were seated in a both big enough for 8 people so we had plenty of room. We didn’t wait long till our waitress came and took our drink orders. My brother got the Electric Blue which is just an AMF but it was tasty. My fiancé got the Mystery Mojito with Gin. I am not a fan of Gin but I could down a few of those easily. I got the Pina Colada Mojito which is like a watered down Pina Colada but I loved it! We ordered food and dessert as well. The food was decent. Pretty much the same as any other Hard Rock. The only thing that really upset me was the fact that when the bill came, the Gratuity Not Included was circled with Highlighter. I only live 20 minutes from Hollywood so I know how this works. I also told the waitress that we were from around here but she still choose to circle it. That offended me! Food– Good Service– Pretty Good Host– Excellent Drinks– Excellent Atmosphere– Clean, Neat, and Pretty Trendy Prices– Expensive For The Quality of Food

Not the best Hard Rock Café I’ve been to I’m afraid. Ordered the BBQ ribs and while they looked delicious, they were really dry and didn’t taste too good at all. Thumbs up for a decent sized meal however, but that’s not of much help when the food is below standard. The service was alright. It started off with us having to wait for a really long time to get the menus though. After a long wait we finally had to get someone’s attention so that we could finally get the menus. After that, there’s not much to complain about when it comes to the service of this place. Everyone in the staff was friendly and very service-minded. The size of the restaurant and the atmosphere were both great and a visit to a Hard Rock restaurant is always a different experience. If you’re in the mood for a tasty meal however, this is not where you’d want to go.

Hollywood bietet wesentlich interessantere Locations.
