Fatburger

Insanely friendly staff! Swung by on break from class for a burger and a shake and was blown away by the staff. Burgers are great (a little expensive for «fast food» but I’ll deal… they’re that good) and so are their fries.
I live close to a different Fatburger, but I’d make the drive all the way over here because they are way friendlier than mine,

One of my favorite veggie burgers! And the fries are always good. Try the chocolate banana shake if you have room for dessert. The staff is always awesome, especially Christina and if you’re lucky you can make it on the wall! While you wait, give it a look-there’s tons of great stories and celebrities hidden on the wall too!

This is one of the best Fatburger locations in the Los Angeles area. I would give them five stars if they had the awesome soda pop machine that is in the sherman oaks location.
I went to this location and ordered a large burger combo and it was tasty! I added skinny fries and for my drink I got a pibb xtra. This was the perfect combo and really hit the spot for me.

Service with a smile. Burger was hefty and delicious. Ordered the onion rings and was extremely disappointed. Im all good with health and all but those onion rings had no flavor at all. Definitely took away from the whole meal experience. Now that I think about it the burger was not good enough to satisfy the bad onion ring, too many burger spots to choose from and a ok is not enough these days.

Such delicious food!!! The burgers were wonderful as well as the root beer floats! The best burger and homemade ice cream in the root beer float! Christine our server/​cashier was so incredibly nice, charming, and helpful the entire stay. Will be coming back to this location in the future.

Great burger-​stand!
Fatburger serves up deliciously good hamburgers! Tasty & filling. Like the kind you make yourself at home when you really put some effort into it. I like that they have different sized burgers cause sometimes I’m wanna just a little something good & greasy. Other times I’m looking to put myself into a food coma. Bring on the milk shakes & chili cheese fries. Onion rings are pretty good too. Fatburger is one of my guilty pleasures.

Hands down the best burger I’ve had in the states.
I’ve been traveling for 3 weeks and have tried 19 different burgers so far. There are some seriously great boutique burger joints and some solid chain restaurants however none have come close to this.
Anyway so, I ordered the medium sized Fatburger with chili and bacon added. On the side I had the Chili Cheese Fat Fries. Then lastly I ordered a small coke.
Game.
Over.
Not sure about this term yet but I felt compelled to say it whilst eating my Fatburger. God bless America!

Lunch: Grilled Chicken Spring mix Salad
Hit the spot.

During a visit to LA, was highly recommended to try this place. As a big fast food fan, couldn’t have turned it down! Parking is a little sparse at this place, but luckily we got one right in the lot. I think there is plenty of street parking, though.
Forget chick-​fil-​A and McD. Hands down, they serve the best cripsy chicken sammy I’ve ever had at a fast food joint. I ordered a side of skinny fries, which were pretty good, too.
Was with someone who did the XXX Challenge! It isn’t as massive (In fact, the person I was with ate some of my fries during the challenge…) as the name portrays it to be, so if you like burgers, I recommend you do it and get your picture on that board. Keep in mind, this is around a 2000 calorie burger. You even get a cool certificate when you complete the challenge. Who wouldn’t want to hang that up on their fridge?!
Did I mention you can order online for pick up? Any time I’m back in LA, I will make sure to come back. This is a fun little spot.

I’ve been a fan of Fatburger since Arsenio Hall first took me to one back in ’87. The one on Sunset and Highland is my favorite. Christine, the manager, is fantastic and always gets the orders right and brightens peoples’ days. They have the same menu as all the stores, but it’s just a little cooler and less sort of institutional than the one on Gardner.
I always get a King on the char with no relish. Btw, if you are new to Fatburger tell them to hold the relish. Also, try to get on the char. Done correctly the burgers destroy the competition, and the shakes are made by hand with real ice cream, which is rare these days. The fries and other extras are abundant.
Like other FB locations they pump in the funk to make it even nicer. Great place all around and puts the competition to shame. They do Fatburger right.

I love Fatburger sooo much, this location never lets me down. Food is always cooked thoroughly and everyone that works there is really nice.
Christine is the best she is so friendly!

The definition of Meh!
After hearing about Fatburger being a LA instituion, I added it to my list of places to try. I had the single cheese burger with bacon and the steak fries.
Honestly, if blind folded I felt that I could of been at Applebees or some where else similar to that. Dry burger and generic fries.
The plus to this visit is that the staff was awesome. Not ever visiintg here before, they were helpful and eager to guide me through their menu.
Fatburger…been there, done that. Time to move on!

I was drawn to this place because of its name — Fatburger. Awesome name (I’m just a huge fat guy in a skinny guy’s body). I ordered a large (8 oz) cheddar Fatburger with fries and a drink. I was initially a little shocked at the total — $ 12. For my cheap ass, that’s an expensive lunch. TOTALLY WORTH IT. The burger itself is cooked to order and it actually has it’s own flavor, unlike the crap they serve you at Jack In The Box and In-​N-​Out burger. The host, Christine, was a beacon of hope to any aspiring food service employee. She treated me and the other customers like royalty. I would sincerely recommend this establishment to anyone looking for a great burger experience. Way to go guys!

This is a prime example of why I cannot trust the decisions I’ve made as a teenager.
I can’t remember the last time I visited a Fatburger, hence the reason why I haven’t been in so long.
The only memory I had of this chain was that I didn’t like it. I stuck by it and and never visited another Fatburger.
If it wasn’t for my boyfriend, I probably wouldn’t have gone back to Fatburger for the rest of my life.
Now I love it more than Five Guys AND In N Out.
There are MANY different sizes. Small, medium, large, XL, XXL, XXXL and more if you desire.
They have all sorts of add ons like, chili, cheese, egg, mushrooms, jalapenos, grilled onions and so much more that I can’t remember.
It’s THE, ALL AMERICAN BURGER! IT’s fresh, tasty and compacted in a wrap perfectly so you can eat it without making a mess.
The presentation is ON POINT. The onion rings come lined up like a circus trick or bangles for your wrist. They provide ranch in huge packets and all sorts of sauces for your dipping pleasure.
This particular location, the lady at the cashier was super sweet and pleasant, unlike most fast food locations.
I saw a wall filled with photos for the XXXL challenge, which I think I may have to go back and try.
I know everyone loves their fancy In N Out, but I like my traditional burger with all the veggies and condiments.
I just add jalapenos on my burger.
Maybe in In N Out served Onion rings, I’d consider re-​evaluating my number one burger joint, but until then, FATBURGER takes my vote.

We are visiting Hollywood and all its freaky glamour it has to offer. On our way back to our hotel after along day of sight seeing. We see Fatburger, it is a no brainer and we must stop! We love the food but even the juicy yumminess of the burgers were out shined by a true treasure of an employee named QU. He was a real sweetheart and he started to share his vast knowledge of all the local celebrities. Which really peaked the interest of my daughter and niece especially when he mentioned that just 4 days ago Justin Bieber was there. He took time to share details with them that just made out trip even more special. Thanks Qu! I hope Fatburger knows how lucky they are to have you! Qu you are now our new
celebrity. Oh and FYI turkey burgers are the best!

This place is awesome for stuffing your face. Never disappoints and there’s even a wall of fame for people who eat their largest burgers (10x?)
Can have sketchy folks sometimes but hey, welcome to Hollywood.

this fatburger is friendly and nice. Its calm and cool. So you dont have the sun blazing down your face while sweating trying to stuff your face.

If your by Hollywood & Highland, can’t figure out what to eat, It’s worth the walk over to Sunset and this Fatburger. The crew working here, super sweet; Fatburger and fries, All kinds a deliciousness!
The only negative, no bathroom for the customers at this location, but the casher did point out another store that would allow people to use one.
My side note: You go to Fatburger to Eat, not calorie count, but it was too funny, as a friend and I were devouring our Fatburger and fries, overhearing the turkey burger orders, questions of what kind a dressing, explanation how the customer was trying to loose weight, (he looked like he needed to eat More, anyway), how are you cooking that yadda yadda. To the crew working there 16JUN2012, you have some patience and maintained a level of professionalism that I hope Fatburger rewards you both for. You deserve your Fat Tips! :)

I came last night for some late night cheesy fatty indulgences. First of all THE NIGHT CREW IS AWESOME. Cheleam was apparently the manager (and the guy that rung me up) and he seriously seemed like the coolest manager ever.

OMG dude, seriously, thank you for bringing me back to the 90’s at that one. He was joking around with his crew and they were all laughing and giggling and having tons of fun. My boyfriend and I were the only ones in the place and we joined in the conversation (s) and were joking around.
The food came out super fast and super delicious. My Strawberry shake was excellent, Cheleam commented to the girl who made it how good it looked and it was seriously up there in the «BEST SHAKE EVER» category. She made extra and he ended up offering it to my boyfriend, it was just enough for one of those small complementary water cups but it was awesome for him to offer.
They were very friendly and I felt like such a dick that I didn’t have any cash on hand for tips. Owners, if you read this please add a tip line to the credit/​debit card receipt. This was the best service I have had anywhere in a while and I told everyone who was working there that and apologized for not having any cash to tip them they were just like «nah, it’s cool no worries, thanks for letting us know you thought we were awesome.» How awesome is that!
Seriously. Go here. Late at night. Order a strawberry shake. Go Go Go!
