I normally dont write reviews but I believe they deserve it. If I could give this place 10 stars I would. Husband and I love it and will keep coming back! Arturo’s is a MUST try!

My friends and I usually enjoy Arturo’s but the other evening we did not receive the greatest service. Arturo’s wife sat us, Arturo took our order and another associate brought out drinks and food. It was a bit chaotic. The food was not as good as usual either. There was very little red sauce on our combo plates. We had to get up to get our bill and get boxes for our food. I know that they recently remodeled a bit but the restaurant needs an update. When I leaned on the back of my booth it tipped back a bit. Not too safe. In any event. We will return and hope that this was just a bad day

This is my favorite Mexican place in Hemet, this is a great full sit down and eat restaurant with homely décor, it inspired me to eat a lot and want to drink margaritas heehee. The food is always so damn delicious! I love coming here! Arturo the old owner always seems here when I come day or night, his staff are friendly and efficient– I recommend this place to everyone!

I love this little hidden place in Hemet. I’ve lived down the street from here for 3 years but never knew about this place because it’s hidden in the back, but once I discovered it I loved it and keep coming back. It’s real authentic Mercian food !! My favorite is the carne asada burrito plate with rice and beans. The owner and staff are very friendly. Give them a shot you’ll love it !!

Have been going here for years. I love the food yet to have anything bad. The old lady and her husband are super nice and the staff is always on top of things. The food is always good and hot. My favorite taco shop in town.

Wife and I ate here last night based on a local recommendation. We were disappointed ! The food was only fair and the service was«amateurish.» The beans were better than average as was the margarita and the beer was cold. We were told that the food eas authentic but it was hardly so. The musicians were a nice touch but the place had way to much lighting. We were offered free flan and rice pudding after our meal and accepted… both were fair but appreciated. We would not eat here again.

Hands down the best Mexican food around. Family owned business with a friendly staff. The prices are very reasonable too.

I love this place, and it is so personable with Arturo and his wife always being there to great the guests. Food is wonderful, well priced so we can go often, love love the fresh salsa. Plus, you always get offered dessert, rice pudding, the BEST and it is free. I love the feeling when I see Arturo and he waves at us! Well worth our drive across town.

This place has great Mexican food! I am a very picky eater at restaurants when it comes to Mexican food but I have been here several times and each meal is great. I have tried fried tilapia, enchiladas plate, fried tilapia, caldo 7 mares and the yummy chile relleno! I can’t say I enjoyed the albondigas but they weren’t that bad I do wish they would have more soup options like caldo de res. The menudo is ok not the best but still Better than most places. We go here about twice a week or so and they have very friendly staff the owner Arturo is always there and so is his daughter who helps waitress. Their is a lot more older people that do go here so maybe that’s why they don’t get enough reviews.

It is tucked into the far left corner. There is just a small brown door that opens up into a very humble mexicana themed dinning area. The charm is just as good as the food. The tomatillo sauce is perfection and every bite is fresh and full of flavor.

I have always love this place. Makes me sad how slow it has gotten since they opened the other store– once i actually went with my husband and we were the ONLY people there, talk about awkward! But I really like the food. Its not as fancy as other places in town but they have my favorite dish — melanesa– that you can’t get anywhere else in Hemet. Its family owned so everyone knows everyone and the owner is the sweetest old man.

Arturo’s is a great little hidden place in Hemet. The prices are very fair and the food is great! The owner is so friendly! My favorite item so far is the shredded beef burrito. The burrito is huge! I could have shared it with someone easily. The meat is marinated perfectly and melts in your mouth. Delicious. The shredded beef flauta is good. Wasn’t my favorite item from their menu, but still good! Their cheese enchiladas are amazing too! These are a must if you love cheese. Overall the staff is friendly and the food is great. One of my favorite mexican places in Hemet, and their are MANY! Arturo’s Grill definitely has my business!

This is a hidden gem. Lived in this area for years but never ate here until last night. Joined some friends who eat here often. This is great food, simple without any bells and whistles. Prices are very reasonable — three of us ate for about $ 40 including a couple michaladas. The meals were followed up with a serving of rice pudding.

THEBESTSITDOWNMEXICANFOODINHEMET! Great family owned place, with fresh, authentic mexican food. Highly recommend the Queso Fundido with chorizo, the shrimp ceviche, Lengua Sopes. AND the home made rice pudding for dessert is 100% legit!

Ordered one of my favorite meals I get at Mexican restaurants, Chili Colorado. So it was by far the worst meal ever, the meat was overcooked tough and gristle in every bite. So disappointed to spend 10 dollars on a meal that I couldn’t even eat! I wonder if they actually serve this and think it’s ok? Thank goodness I had a salad so I didn’t go home hungry… The owner or cook or manager should check out any other place in town that serves this dish and compare it for themselves. Yuck Ok, the beans were good but not hot:(

You walk in and are instantly family. They start you with chips, salsa and delicious guacamole. I ordered the Carne asada burrito and it was jammed with steak. My daughter ordered the Chiliquiles and while she makes them better at home these are a close second. To end your meal they serve complimentary rice pudding that is wonderful! You won’t ever get better service anywhere!
