Umm. I feel like I’m missing something. This place is very sub-par. I had about for meals here and the only thing worth mentioning is the grilled chicken avo sandwich. It was good… The service is pretty decent. But the food is not very appealing and the managerial staff don’t seem to know how to deal w/customers very well.- I got the salad bar but after seeing that the salad bar consisted of iceberg(sp?) Lettuce, shredded cheese and dressing, along with 10 individual salads that looked very old, I wanted something different. I’ve spoken to this particular manager before and as soon as I had a «complaint» he acted like he didn’t understand me… Anyways… I’m short. This place isn’t that good.. definitely has a few decent items on the menu… so. go at your own risk I suppose

Always a good breakfast or lunch spot. Linguica scramble(linguica, spinach, and jalapeño) is tough to beat. Ma loves the Greek omelette(feta cheese, artichoke, and black olives). The chicken Joe special is always a great choice too. Service is always quick and you get enough food for two meals.

We haven’t dined at Vaseliki’s in quite some time. Coffee was good. The egg beaters were fluffy in my omelette and the veggies were fresh. I did not have hash browns, I chose fruit instead. The fruit was fresh and the server was attentive. This was a satisfactory meal. Nothing really stood out as fantastic or horrible. We will more than likely dine there again in the future.

My friend took me here for breakfast and I’m glad he did. The waitress was friendly and checked up on us during the meal but wasn’t overbearing. The food was good and the spicy garlic sauce in a bottle at the table was heaven sent! I’ll definitely be revisiting this place soon :)

Nice for a breakfast brunch, menu is mostly american(denny’s like) with lot of varieties of omlettes, pancakes, sandwiches etc. I am an admirer of art and I liked all the beautiful paintings of Greek Architecture in the interior of the restaurant. Service is good. We went on a sunday morning around peek time and the waiters all seemed very busy. Yet they served the food quickly and stopped by couple times to ask for refills and other stuff. Nice place.

Everything was good except the bacon was overcooked and dry and the toast was burnt. Portions are large and fairly priced.

We have always had only breakfast here. Old school, many blue-hairs here … that’s ok. Service is good. Portions are good, not crazy but good. Prices are good for the portion size. Not a huge parking lot, can get crowded when the flea market is going on across the street.

In memory of a nice little restaurant I wish was still in business. We live close by the place and it is a pleasant walk from home and back. Despite the numerous times we have been there we have only had one bad experience. On our anniversary one year we decided to split a piece of cheesecake for dessert. They must not get orders for this very often as it was dry as the Mojave Dessert in August. Outside of this, it is a casual, 1970’s style place where one can get a decent meal and not be hustled out like the chain restaurants. That aside, they have really good burgers, provided you are not on a diet, and their roast leg of lamb is a pleasant surprise from the usual faux-English roast lamb with a «mint jelly» that is served in most local restaurants — and definitely not anything that I have ever seen on my trips to England or any other part of Europe. Their sandwiches are quite generous and the prices are much better than on the Peninsula. They also have a pretty good meatloaf with mash and veggies. Their breakfasts are generous and well cooked. I love their Greek Omelet with feta, artichoke hearts, olives and spinach. Their chicken fried steak is really quite good and noticeably less expensive than most chain restaurants. They really pile it on and the restaurant has a lot of older folks(like me) who are fairly regular customers. Hash browns? Meh… Most restaurants are no better or no worse in this department. Their fresh fruit cup is really quite nice though. I am giving this four stars as I have eaten there more times than I can count, they are consistently giving me good meals at very reasonable prices with only a very occasional«oopsie» that happens at every restaurant I have eaten in more than a half a score of times. What I like here is that when these things happen, they are usually quite prompt and polite about making amends. Coffee cup or iced tea never run dry as well. Good quality and quantity for the price. I will definitely eat there again. In fact, It’s about time my girlfriend Mary and I got together there for lunch. It’s been awhile! Need to catch up on the gossip.

Looks like a diner, food tastes like it’s from a diner. Despite the name, not much in the way of Greek dishes here. Nevertheless, a big diner menu. I had the french toast. The bread was a thick whole wheat type bread. Tons of butter. Place looks like a good American diner experience. Excellent service, easy parking in the lot. I’ll have to check out the big salad bar next time. And based on the Unilocal reviews — the baklava as well.

Hearty, wholesome meals and great service. I’ve also never been here when it’s crowded, as opposed to most other breakfast joints. More importantly, everything is delicious. I love baklava in almost every shape and form. Their baklava is delicious and I must always take some home with me. It does differ from most baklava I’ve tried with a unique syrupy, brown sugar taste.

Literally walking distance from my cousin’s house. I’ve tried the banana pancakes(yum), the Mediterranean scramble(yum), and always order the Swedish Pancakes(lingonberry!). The weekend specials are great too if you just want some eggs, hashbrowns, bacon and a muffin(or toast, or fruit, biscuits and gravy, etc.). Cozy place, decent service. Definitely a return customer if I’m in the area.

My family has eaten at this restuarant at least once a week since I was a kid. Of all the years and change in ownership this is still one of my favorite family style dinning spots. They serve hearty meals any time of the day, and have a great salad bar. I’m not much of a breakfast person but they never disappoint when I have the hankering. From oat meal and corn beef hash, to club sandwiches and meat loaf, the food is always par if not better. I don’t visit this restuarant to often these days as now I cook at home, but next time I’m too tired or forget to thaw something I will be here.

I was introduced to this place through a co-worker. So far I haven’t been disapointed with the food. They have a huge menu that I am still trying to order new things each time I go. It’s nice going to a place that isn’t a chain and that you know their food is cooked and not defrosted. Yes, the waitresses seem like they have been there forever, but give them a break. Service is decent, never bad. The place needs a remodel job bad, but they are just trying to survive with all the chains all over the place. The restaurant is actually pretty big, they must have done real good back in the day. I’ll keep going!

Haven’t been here in a few years, but wanted to give this place some love for their breakfast. Yes, this seems to be the spot for the«mature’ crowd, but that doesn’t deter me from coming here. Oh no no no. They have great scrambles, but my favorite is their Swedish pancakes with ligonberry butter. Never been a fan of regular pancakes, but thin pancakes with ligonberry butter whats not to like. Service is your typical diner style service, but I don’t mind that so long as they keep serving up those thin pancakes for those special Sunday mornings!

A sign the place is reasonable when you see ½ the place filled with senior citizens! :) 4-stars for reasonably priced breakfast. minus 1 star for the host(i’m assuming the owner) for not acknowledging us when we arrived(granted he was giving a customer change) nor when we left(no excuse for that). Bad business! Friday, 9 am: Waitress that helped us was quick, a little meek that we couldn’t hear her, and pretty no nonsense with replenishing coffee and asking how everything was. Breakfast: 2 eggs, hashbrowns, ham steak(or 3 sausage or bacon), toast = $ 6.50

My bosses love coming here. Before the economy went bust, this was our Friday lunch spot. These guys know us and treat us really well. The food always comes out piping hot, generous in portion, and pretty good. My guy co-workers used to order the Avocado Burger all the time. It’s a really good burger. But when I took my boyfriend(now husband) to this spot because he’s a burger lover, his burger came out slightly cold and kind of tough. He wasn’t at all too thrilled about this place or even with his mediocre burger. So I guess my review is kind of bias because the owner knows my bosses and co-workers. And when they see our group, they know to treat us well. Things that are good here: –Avocado Burger –Old Timer –Breakfast plates –Salmon and rice plate –Euro Souvlaki

I’ve heard a lot of good things about this place, so i entered with high expectations which may have altered the overall experience. Food was good, nothing mind blowing… simple breakfast. The ambiance screams your typical Greek/Mediterranean brunch spot. They do have a full salad bar which was a nice touch(if you’re into those things). =) I’ll be back here again to try out some other things, maybe i caught them on an off day.

If you eat here before 8am on a weekday, chances are there will be only two people working — a cook and a crabby waitress. Despite her pleasing personality(ha!) and penchant for reminding you that there are only two people working(yes, I heard you the first two times), their eggs scrambles are dee-lish. I like the turkey scramble with turkey sausage, spinach and mushrooms. Don’t try to be healthy by asking for double-fruit instead of a carb because Ms. Pleasant will remind you there are no substitutions. Despite being the only server, she did a great job refilling coffee and water.

My fiancé and I were in search of new places to go to. There were a lot on our list but we had to try them one at a time. This place was one of those breakfast places(but they do serve lunch and dinner as well). I’d say that they’re not really bad. Very friendly service, very attentive(our coffee cups were always filled), food was great tasting and big servings, convenient parking space… The only thing that didn’t make it to the top for me = flies hovering on top of our heads. I understand that it’s unavoidable to let flies in when customers come in and out, but this place seemed to have tons of them. My fiancé and I both ordered the Chicken Fried Steak and Eggs for brunch. Couple of times we tried shooing out the flies from our plate. I would’ve wanted to try their salad bar, but I was stopped by the hovering flies. The salad bar was sitting there and didn’t want to even check whether all the flies were trying to dive in them.(Sorry, I can be very detailed at times.) There are means of not letting them buggers in and I would suggest that this restaurant try them.

I am sorry but I would never come back here. This was my 3rd visit and it was not a pleasant one. First two times were ok but this 3rd time is a no no no. I came here for lunch with my mother in law. I order the phily cheesesteak and it was horrid. The bread was stale and chewy and there was only onions and mushrooms on it and it was soooo greasy my bread was soaked and soggy. The meat on the other hand almost made me hurl. Phily steak meat should be grilled and/or chopped up. The meat in this was all rolled up and marinated in some weird sauce. Seems like it was a french dip sandwich and tossed with cheese, onions, and mushrooms and voila! I am sorry but it was nasty. Tasted like it was spoiled or leftovers from days ago. I had a huge stomache that night. Service sucked our waitress never came back to check on us after our food was delivered and I had to get up to ask for togo box for my MIL. When she gave us our togo boxes we opened them up and notice they were USED to go boxes! wtf thats nasty! where is the food inspector!?! All she said was oh i didnt know heres some new one. They are so lucky I did not go off and make a scene and talk to the manager but I was with my MIL and didnt want to embarass her. Five years ago when I came here it was good and decent what happen over the years?
