Always delicious. Always freaky fast. I have never had a sandwich take more than 5 minutes to be delivered to me — it is a great option for JMU students wanting a late night study snack. The only thing I dislike is that they don’t have regular mustard and will not add anything to your sandwich(such as spicy mustard). They have very inexpensive options, such as their«slim» sandwiches, which are still a meal-full. The bread is by far the best part.

Yes they are fast, but when you don’t have very much meat, cheese, lettuce, etc on the bun then it should be fast. Gourmet? no. It’s a sub. The sub roll bread was good and thin. Just not much choice and a piece of meat and cheese. The sub tasted good and I was not impressed and wondered how it was and won’t be back. I asked for black pepper and they don’t even have black pepper??? I like the commercials.

The sandwiches were delicious. I thought my tuna sandwich was a little light on the amount of tuna. Their own brand of potato chips were excellent.

Great sandwiches, fast service, cheap prices, and cute chicks, where can you go wrong?

While I’ve started to strongly dislike or even despise the previously beloved Jimmy Johns because they cut out sprouts(which makes their veggie sandwich all but useless) and seem to even have a dickish air about it. They also haven’t added anything organic to their menus, this is an unusually good one. It’s open to 3am, which is a miracle for the wary traveler, and probably the local creatives. It even has a drive through, which makes it likely the healthiest choice with that type of convenience. But please, please, Jimmy J’s… Stop relying solely on your charisma, and bring healthy options like sprouts back! And please join«the year 2000», and add some organic options for more money, eh? You can’t and won’t stay relevant if you don’t keep escalating your quality, like many other eateries have. Dropping sprouts actually means you went the other way — offering lower quality food, even though you used to be a quality pioneer. DUMB. Jimmy Js, make me and other conscious eaters love you again!

This is the newest Jimmy John’s in Harrisonburg. It is a converted Captain D’s Seafood/Great Wok facility. The interior design of the place is really cool. Several booths along the windows and high top tables accent the seating area. The seating and atmosphere is much more to my liking than Hillside Avenue near JMU. Quieter and more restaurant-like. The same great sub menu and I give the staff here high marks for their friendliness. They always seem chipper. This facility also has a freaky fast drive thru that is sure to please you. No real tricks to getting in and out of the parking lot. If you’re wanting to head west on 33, I suggest that you go east to the pork chop style crossover near the Cook Out and U turn it. Recommended.
