Gotta say this little Coffee shop is Tops in my book. Friendly fella at the counter and on top of his trade. As for those with petty complaints as scones served in paper towell’s and shortage of squirts with regards to Expresso… the staff isn’t clairvoyant, tell em about your drink and I’m sure he’ll be glad to make it right, it’s in His character. As for the paper towel ooops, he may just have run out of the wax paper, and paper towels may have been a way of delivering the product until replenished… just sayin… relax and try Him again, tell him your concern. Am sure he’ll be more than happy to rectify… Cheers Court Square, keep up the good work… :)

I was craving an iced latte so I checked out this coffee shop since it was close but I was very disappointed. The guy working was very friendly and I liked the coffee shop itself but the iced latte was one of the worst I have ever had. Now, I’m a coffee snob and have been to hundred of coffee shops around the world but by no means was this even a decent drink. I wasn’t paying attention because I was signing for using my card but I don’t think he pulled the shots. I don’t remember hearing a machine and there is no way he pulled the shots that fast while I signed, meaning he either didn’t use espresso, or he had espresso already pulled(espresso expires after about 10 seconds if it isn’t mixed into a drink). I could be wrong but if he did pull the shots while I was signing then the problem comes from his machine and it needs to be calibrated as the shots were definitely over extracted and pulled too slowly. I know I’m being very picky but I like the guy and the place and would just like to see better coffee served there.

Such a quaint coffee shop! The owner, Jeremiah, is incredibly nice! The coffee is delicious! I tried the gingerbread latte and it was just perfect! The coffee shop itself is very small, with no tables or room to relax after getting your coffee. Just be aware of that in case you were looking for a place to study or work.

My overall favorite place to get coffee in the ‘burg. Owner is super friendly and the coffee is great. The Irish cream mocha is especially delicious.

The best coffee I’ve ever tasted, that’s made with fair trade coffee and served by probably the nicest person you’ll ever meet. I’ve never gotten any fancy coffee drinks there, but I can promise you the foundation is delicious:)

Nice little coffee shop, and the barista(in guessing owner too from other reviews was super friendly). He was just talking with another patron when I walked in, and he naturally just pulled me into the conversation. Good coffee and phenomenal service. I just wish there had been a place to sit.

First time to historical downtown Harrisonburg. Stopped in and got a raspberry truffle mocha. Great taste and friendly service. Would stop back in given another visit.

Jeremiah(the owner/barista) is fantastic. Such a friendly, welcoming guy, he always makes your coffee trip a pleasant experience. When I worked downtown, I would visit Court Square Coffee twice daily.

The BEST place by far to get organic fair trade and high quality coffee in Harrisonburg! The owner Jeremiah is always very welcoming and friendly! I highly recommend this coffee shop. Jeremiah makes his own pumpkin spice syrup from scratch. Definitely try any of the delicious espresso & coffee drinks, scones, or muffins !

This local coffee shop is a great joint to grab a cup of joe! I actually enjoyed a cappuccino over their drip coffee! It was neat to visit the downtown area, walk around, and have this place close by.

As I sit at my computer this morning eating my berry scone, I think«this deserves a Unilocal review.» I have to say, I am a Starbucks fiend but these days would much rather give my money to the local coffee shop, especially since the Harrisonburg Starbucks is horrible(0 customer service or coffee shop ambiance). The owner, Jeremiah is a doll and actually addresses people by name. The coffee is great, fair trade and the scone are literally the best I have ever had. Only qualms are the hours — not open long enough! And the fact that I receive my scone wrapped up in a paper towel. Highly suggest Court Square Coffee!
