While we didn’t eat upstairs, we had a few drinks at the bar and visited the shop! The bartenders we pretty good. The store was very nice! The lady in there was extremely helpful and told us all about the different spices and how she uses the different infused olive oils! We actually bought multiple bottles!

Great food! Appetizers are fantastic and every soup I have tried has been outstanding. Tremendous value in the Pork Chop dinner which is thick, moist and seasoned with the owner’s family rub. Trilogy Appetizer is a must. Great quality steaks and most dishes offer a variety of flavors and seasonings that keep your pallet entertained. New bar/lounge area opened downstairs and don’t forget to check out their seasonings, olive oils and vinegar store next door — Eighteenninety Market Place Reservations are a good idea.

Be sure to come to this establishment if you are a fan of being ignored and watching others, including wait staff, order before you but arriving after you. I gave them 10 minutes to correct the mistake but I was never even acknowledged. Save your money. I’m sure(and hope) this place will go under at this rate!

What in the absolute F&@k is wrong with this city? Awful. Awful. Awful. A hour and 15 min after ordering I got a cold steak that came out wrong period. This chef should be exiled from food in general. I’ve had better steak at Chili’s. The poor server was mortified.

DELICIOUS! Best cut of filet I’ve ever had and I eat my steaks rare. Great service as well. Expect upscale prices to match the food and décor. Perfect for special occasions.

Great restaurant. We’ve eaten @ classy restaurants all over the world & this little local haunt is a pearl. Who knew a little town like Granbury had a pearl like this. They have a fish dish of the day. Today had halibut fresh from Alaska the day before. Beautifully presented & excellently prepared. The meal included a salad & the entrée. Outstanding wine list with wines by the glass as well as the bottle. Our server was excellent & recommended an excellent Sauvignon blanc which complemented the salad as well as the halibut. The service was as outstanding as the cuisine. Our server, Ephram, was attentive without behind obtrusive. The ambience was excellent as well. All in all an outstanding dining experience.

We ordered the chicken pasta and the grilled Halibut. chicken pasta was peppery don’t add more ground pepper. Halibut absolutely delicious and cooked to perfection. We sat at the bar because we showed up without reservations. Great service and very pleasant.

I’ve yet to eat here, so I reserve the right to change my review at a later time. However, I’ve tried to eat here twice and have been turned away both times. Once I was told that without reservations I simply could not be seated. I was told this quite rudely. I attempted to make reservations later with Open Table(they don’t participate) and then by calling. When I arrived, I was told that it would be a hefty wait for a table as they«got busy» and that I should go hang out in their gift shop downstairs. I gave up and drove to Fort Worth. This place needs to try a lot harder and they need to start with the host and reservations.

Coming from the Dallas area, we have owned a lake house here for a few months and have heard people talk about this place but not many have eaten here. Tonight we thought we would venture in and give it a try. Walking in, the place is the ‘step up’ Granbury needs. The place was busy enough that we were not seated until our reservation time. We ordered our food and a bottle of wine. The salads came out and were good. Maybe we ate our salads too slow because when the entrees came out they were not hot? No, we sat there with empty salad plates. Her sea bass was oily and lacking. My shrimp and grits had been sitting long enough become a solid mass. Of course when asked if there was anything else, we chimed in ‘the wine?’ When the wine arrived, I tasted it and the wine was poured. That ended our wine service. Yep, we poured the rest ourselves while watching the waitress pour other patrons’ wine. *Yes, our wine glasses were empty when she checked on us. Bill time. The bill was for four entrees and wine. We are a table for two. The waitress disappears and returns telling me that the bill I got was for the table over there(points across the room to another 2-top). I mentioned that I hope not unless they both ate two entrees. Watiress drops a to-go container of banana pudding off and apologizes about the bill. When questioned about the wine she claimed she did pour it. «The first glass, yes. We saw you pour other tables’ wines, we just wondered about ours. Makes us wonder about returning now that I think about it. Dropping that kind of cash in Granbury deserves better, consistent service and attention to detail. Ft Worth is too close to screw up like this.

I don’t eat New York Strip very often… let alone a steak outside of my doing… however when I do, I now eat at Eighteenninety in Granburry, TX. Chef Watkins & bartender Trisha have done a magnificent and spectacular job. Hands down, look no further. Steak cooked to perfection — 135° F.

We started out with crab cakes appetizers which were perfect to share. We got 2 for the table and there were 5 of us. We then had Filet Mignon and was the most tender piece of meat. We also had the Pearl Pasta with shrimp and scallops which turned out to be heavenly! Nice wine selection, we skipped desert but heard great things about the banana pudding. Would definitely recommend. Service was great from Abel as well!

We had a date night here last night. We dressed up, so were a little over dressed but that’s what we like. The food was great & our server Krystyn was very attentive. She made some recommendations of the Texas Trilogy for appetizers & when I asked about the Salmon was told it was one of her favorites. My husband had the ribeye & ended up having leftovers. We would definitely go again!

Nicest restaurant in town. I wouldn’t say they are quite the caliber of Ruth’s Chris, but everything(EVERYTHING) here is fantastic. Pricey, yes, but we need a classy place like this. Love the view of the courthouse, and the atmosphere tucked away in a loft. We’ve had multiple company dinners here, and I look forward to taking the crew back, or going there on a sexy date.

Poor quality at an unreasonable price. Poorly trained waitstaff. Underprepared for service. Out of specials an hour after opening. Didn’t comp the mistake we didn’t eat!!! These people should quit pretending to be Restauranteurs because this place reeks of mediocrity. Will never go back.

This is a great place for a dinner date. I brought my wife here for our first date. Our waiter was awesome, very friendly, and knowledgeable of the menu. Our food was amazing too. We love coming here. The great service and food is worth the money. My wife and I try to come here at least once a year. Not bad for a small town restaurant.

Gave three because there are pros and cons. Trisha is a great bartender. Maybe a bar back to help her make sure superior service is given, high drink prices. Steaks are delish! However, many other menu items over cooked. Don’t bother asking for the manager/owner because your request will be ignored. Not an easy review since I have met the owners and find them to be very sweet. However, business should be reevaluated for the type of service they wish to offer at the prices they charge. I expect superior service when dishing out $ 200+ for a couple with drinks. Wish them the best when seasonal visitors are not around. Locals, and referring friends and family keeps a business intact.

From out of town so I always write these rewiews while sitting at the bar by myself. From the ny metro area to give perspective. I think I found a hidden gem in lake granbury tx… who would have thought? Bartender, Tricia is excellent. Explained th menu. Made recommendations. Salad included with meal was excellent. NY strip very good. Cooked perfect. Could be little more tender but flavor excellent Texas trio skewers as side are excellent, you can skip the sauces cause loaded with flavor. Don’t want to give anyone a 5 but they deserve it Ambience great also. Not for beer swill in baseball cap crowd

Took my boss here for his birthday dinner. Our waiter was so wonderful and so accommodating. We had great cocktails at the bar followed by nice appetizers of escargot. Everything was so wonderful here I just can’t say enough good things about this place. All three of us at the table ordered ribeye. They came with a side of butter. Just like a ribeye should have. The ambiance is very nice here and very quiet. This would be a great place for a date night or a girls night even. I would say this restaurant is a great find in Granbury. I highly recommended.

What a great little gem in Granbury! We went to celebrate some special«couple time» and thoroughly enjoyed Eighteen Ninety. I would definitely recommend the jalapeño bacon macaroni and cheese, pork chop, and angus burger served with truffle fries. Hint: Wine Wednesday = bottle or glass up to $ 150 is half off. Be aware that this is a special place and not somewhere you would want to bring children. We enjoyed adult time and delicious chef inspired food. We will be back!
