Will I come back? Nope. Is it because the food or our server? Nope. Can I give zero stars? Nope. Here’s the problem. I ate an early lunch here one afternoon(my first and only meal that day) on our way into DFW. Around dinner time, I started to feel queasy, shortly after I was sick as a dog. Projectile. So bad that I had to go to Lake a Granbury Medical Center and was ADMITTED for an overnight stay. They did their tests and said that I indeed had food poisoning and e. coli! … A few days later, and after I was finally discharged WITH multiple medication prescriptions, I was feeling a TAD bit better and called their corporate to let them know. Their local store manager called me back(was very nice) and let me know that their insurance rep would be calling me soon… I then had to go to the hospital to obtain my records and then go to the UPS store to fax all of them over. It wasn’t horribly expensive, but between my hospital co-pay, records, prescriptions and faxing about 100 pages to them, it adds up. Not to mention caring for my toddlers and was off work. About 2 weeks later I receive a letter from them… they said quote«since no one else had any issues that day, I simply must of had the flu.» I never asked for anything from them… I just called to let them know of this. If it had been one of my two toddlers or my elderly father in law, things could have been much worse… Instead they made me sick, never apologized and basically called me a liar, even with medical records?! I still have my records and their lack of business letter to prove it. Do not eat here… whether now sanitary or not. that’s just bad customer service. I used to like them, check out my previous review even. By the way, I had the salad with strawberries on it. :/

Usual. Most CP are consistent. Slow but friendly. Steak was actually cooked right the first time. Would return.

Working in area stopped in for dinner. Sat in booth by window, window ledge had not been cleaned in quite some time — dead flies & dirt, disgusting. Requested to be moved to a table as we had already ordered before noticing issue. Waitress, sadly not her forte. Ordered 2 teas & water, got 2 waters &1 tea & the service went downhill from there. Just never had seen such poor service. Finally got, our food. A hamburger & salad… All I can say is the cook was ok, as the food was good. Won’t go back.

My family and I came here after church on Sunday. They were very busy but Allie took very good care of us. She checked by often and make sure we had everything we needed and gave wonderful recommendations. I had their Cajun tilapia and it was perfect. This was a wonderful dining experience.

Well Cotton Patch disappoints again, well over a year since our last visit. Though to be fair service was good this time. This time portions are smaller. Small portions just like Chili’s. What the hell happened? Chicken fried chicken used to cover the whole plate, with the sides on the side. Darren’s fries were not fresh or completely cooked. We came here because it was close and we’re short on time.

Good fast service, mashed potatoes could have been hotter, and usually upon being seated hot rolls are brought to you, but not today… they were still cooking and were brought to us after we had finished eating!!!

This place is pretty good for Granbury, i promise you, if you want a steak come here instead of Hoffbrau’s. I normally get the steak and shrimp. Their tea is fresh(not out of a bag) and service is pretty good. Also, try the fried green tomatoes, they are awesome

Cotton Patch is one of those no-frills places people come to for comfort foods and good variety. I’ve been coming here for the past 8 years, and rarely had any issues. Typical menu items include Chicken Fried Steak/Chicken, Burgers, Salads, Grilled items, and Fried Catfish. Served with hot rolls or cornbread, they aim to make sure you’re stomach is happy. Sometimes, however, service and be hit-and-miss, as well as the cooking. On a couple of occasions I’ve had to send something back because of the saltiness of it. Evidently, Granbury has a fascination with salt that I fail to understand. So, if you’re trying to keep your sodium level low, it’s probably best to tell your waiter/waitress for«no added salt» to your food. The only other complaint are the mashed potatoes. Now, I like skins in my mashed potatoes, but I also like them to be somewhat creamy. This is ultimately where Cotton Patch needs to re-think it’s recipe. Potatoes are minimally moist, and have no luster to them whatsoever. Best to pile on the gravy in order to make them tolerable. Other than that… no problem. We come here about every-other-week(or so). Clean, and a nice atmosphere, we know it’s likely to be a good meal overall.

Service goes over and beyond. Wait staff smiles and knowledgeable about food. Food is good. Fried pickles are delish! The coleslaw is fresh and really good… only served on friday. Enjoy!

I eat here almost daily. The atmosphere is great, the food superb and the service is second to none, especially if you get MARY as your waitress. The daily specials cannot be matched any where in Granbury. They need a good breakfast place here also.

For $ 9, the apple-walnut salad – which was otherwise good – contained a pitiful amount of chicken. Not impressed.

It’s just a chain place but the food is good, the service good, and I just happen to love the grilled pork chops with the cinnamon apples. Yummy!

Ok, I know the choices of restaurants in Granbury are limited — well, at least compared to Dallas. I once went to the Cotton Patch up in Frisco a few years ago and was not impressed. But it seems like 1 out of every 4 times I visit my parents in Granbury — they want to go to Cotton Patch. The only thing that I order now is the catfish basket — I have not liked anything else I have tried on the menu. My folks love the grilled Tilapia — but I have tried it and decided they just like it because they like to eat healthy. The service is very hit or miss — I don’t think they hire anyone over the age of 17, so not unexpected. I will give this place two stars — not a place I would ever choose to eat at while in Dallas.

I tried the Three Cheese Bacon Burger today and was thoroughly unimpressed. While the dinner roll and the bun on the burger were excellent, the meat was seasoned with so much pepper that I was burping it up hours later. I know they must find it difficult to distinguish themselves from Chili’s and Black-eyed Pea, but over-seasoning the food is not the way to do it.
