The Fillin’ Station

The onion strings were fresh and had. a strong onion taste. They were amazing!!! I got the sourdough bun with a bacon burger with all the veggies and avocado. The meat to bread ratio was perfect. The burger was made with brisket and was well seasoned and juicy. The burgers are also huge and very filling. Service was also very prompt and the food came out fast.

Food was okay nothing to brag about. The service was abysmal. The restaurant was poorly managed. It took 10 minutes for us to get sat and then an additional hour for us to get our food. The staff seemed very unprepared for the busy day.

First for the BEST SERVICE ask for Peggy. The food is fantastic. Best burger in this part of Texas. You’re in for a real treat if you go here. Sit outside and enjoy all the action that Granbury has to offer.

I just had the most wonderful mushroom, Swiss cheeseburger. I would drive the 1 ½ to come back for another!

Not sure why all the hate. Solid menu with great tastes. Most of the menu is fried, but you can get a GREAT salad with greens and grilled meats. Kudos to these guys for offering some of the best salads in town. Babe’s and Hoffbrau could take some notes on them. I don’t think they offer any menu items that can’t be had at Grump’s, Willie and Dick’s, or Stumpy’s, but the location is stellar, with a surprising amount of seating (especially outdoors). Mom and pop joints like this are one of my favorite things about Granbury!

I went here with my brother for his birthday, and we all loved the food. The fried pickles are the best I’ve had, and everyone at the table was chowing on those. The vibe of this restaurant is great — relaxed, comfortable, and clean. We sat outside watching the sunset, and it was lovely. Our waitress, Peggy, was great too. Everything about this place helped us feel relaxed and comfortable.
The only reason I give it 4 stars instead of 5 is that they don’t have many (any?) healthy vegetarian options (my hubby and I are vegetarian). Also, the plates and glasses are Styrofoam, and the utensils are plastic. From an environmental standpoint, it didn’t feel good. Styrofoam doesn’t biodegrade, so my water cup for an hour of dinner will now be in the environment for t least the next 100 years or so. I wasn’t thrilled about that at all. I think things like that may be cheap in the short-​term, but ultimately much more costly for all of us.
Overall, the food was delicious, the vibe was wonderfully relaxed, and we’ve already recommended it to our family members who live in Granbury. In fact, my brother was saying he wanted to go again this week :)

After reading the reviews and seeing the picture I was craving a rueben. The sandwich was pretty good and atmosphere was really nice as well.

Great burgers! Everything I’ve eaten here has been delicious and you can tell made with fresh ingredients! My greatest endorsement comes from my three kids… and includes a burger lover snob (Ha!) and a VERY picky eater. They all absolutely loved the burgers AND the fries!!! This is so rare for them to ALL love what they order and the burger snob ranked it «best burger she ever had»! Great meal! Great service too! Staff is very busy but are very personable and kept the drinks full. You’ve gotta try the fried pickles and fried jalapeño slices basket served with ranch! Amazing! We’ll back very soon to try more of the amazing variety of burger & sandwich choices!

Cute little burger shop on the town square. The food is good, although not the best in the world. The price is fair I think, but my mom says it’s expensive. I guess it depends on what you get! The service is good, and that’s hard to find. I like the laid back, casual atmousphere.

Torpedo sandwich was great. Jalapeño & cheese sausage with grilled onions and sauerkraut. Very spicy sausage!

We were walking around Grandbury square and I asked a clerk at one of the stores what restaurant she would recommend in the area & she didn’t even hesitate to tell us about The Fillin Station. Our waitress Amamda (I hope that was her name) … Best.Waitress.Ever! She was friendly and funny. Since we had never been there before, she told us all shout the menu. We started with «coil springs» which were homemade potato chips with side of queso. Yummmmm!!! You think they would be greasy. Not at all! Very light & crispy. My boyfriend had the bacon wrapped jalapeño stuffed pork tenderloin thingies (LOL) over fresh onion straws. I had the Volvo burger. Mushrooms & Swiss. We loved this place! Sad that we don’t live closer. A+++!!!

The Cadillac! Bacon ground into beef? Yes! I love the 50’s décor and the friendly staff every time I go as well, always a delight. I’ll be back for sure.

Great place to watch the world go by. Menu items named after vehicles. Pretty cute! My 3 year old grandson is already a foodie and loves eating here. Great service every time. Great prices and yummy food.

If I could hit this place with 0 stars I would. Stood for 10 minutes waiting for a table… no one. Then sat and waited for 10 minutes for a drink order. Then waited 15 minutes for drinks. Finally got up and said no way. Don’t stop, keep going, terrible service. Not worth your time.

GREAT burgers and al fresco dining right out on the Square in Granbury. My personal favorite is the Cadillac burger (bacon infused into the patty itself. yum!), but it’s all good! And they serve Revolver beers! :)

You get a mountain of fried pickle chips.
And they are thinly battered and AMAZING! I do believe they are the best we have ever had!
On to main courses. I had a French dip (aka the dip stick) without cheese and it was amazing! The au jus that was left over i drank it down like a boss!
The hubby had the BLT he liked it but it was just a BLT he says. Not saying it was bad he was looking for a little umph to it.
You get a lot of food here we didn’t get to finish everything but we surely tried!
Atmosphere is nice and auto themed the ladies were all very nice! Nice and clean restaurant.

Stopped in on a Saturday afternoon for a bite and some drinks. We were seated immediately and were able to sit on the porch as requested. We were waited on quickly and our waitress was nice and helpful. I was super excited that they carry Revolver beer on tap (love me some Revolver Blood and Honey beer but hard to find it on tap in many places) so I got a big cold mug of that. We had several folks in our group and ordered a variety of items from the chicken salad sandwiches to the thin sliced cooked potatoes with white queso dipping sauce (YUMMMMMMMMY) to the cheese and sausage basket (which was HUGE)… everyone seemed to like their food. Not the most healthy of things I have ever eaten but it was good and it hit the spot. The only con was the water… which sort of tasted like lake water. All the more reason to drink more Revolver beer I guess!

The food was great, service was fast and restaurant was clean! We had the fried pickles, bacon cheeseburger, kids burger, kids Mac and cheese. The pickles were perfect with the homemade ranch (a rarity these days) the burgers were juicy and hand formed deliciousness! The Mac and cheese pleased my cheesy critic and the french fries were perfectly crispy! We loved this family friendly place :)

Not that great… Well if you like a grease on everything you eat this is your place.
Not impressed with anything but the décor.
