After a day of running around on an unseasonably beautiful day, my wife and I decided to stop in to give this Cubano sandwich a try. We try out all that we can find! It was good! We weren’t terribly impressed with the bread, but the flavor was good. The fries, however, were fantastic! They were flavored with a garlic lime oil. My wife ordered the cucumber mint mojito which too was very good. We heard on the way out that this is an off shoot of the original. We are definitely looking forward to giving it a shot.

Yum. This place is a must eat in the Golden Triangle. I’d recommend going around 5:15pm when happy hour is in full swing. That way you can try their mojitos! They have a lot of flavors to try and every single one is worth tasting. their food is also delicious. I always get plantain chips and the shrimp & mashed potato dish(ask for it spicy!). Seriously, I could write a book about how awesome this place is. Check it out!

Sweet girl taking order was very nice, food was average. Cuban sandwich was«cute»…Its neat, has the right ingredients, and is easy to eat. It was like going to Panera Bread and getting a Philly Cheesesteak… With that being said, I prefer my cubans(and phillis) to be stuffed with meat, huge, and somewhat greasy, and the cuban at cuba cuba unfortunately did not meat any of those three criteria. Best advice you will probably hear all day-If you want cuban food, go to Cuba Bakery in Aurora(I have a separate review on them as well)

Pan con lechon is one of my favorite sandwiches.(Top 5) I eat here once a week. If you haven’t eaten here, try this first. It’s their best item IMO.

Simple Cuban food. Good music, even if it is piped in through speakers. Sangria is nice. Not strong, yet tasty and refreshing. Bar at front. Great fast, tasty pork and slaw. Bueno! Me gusta mucho con mi esposa!

You guys! Cuba Cuba Sandwicheria delivers Cuban sandwiches. Right to my door! Not only that but I can order the«combinacion» and get half of a cuban with two sides. Delivered. Right to my door! And I can order sweet plantains… I think you know where this is going… Delivered. Right to my door! Nick and I were pleasantly surprised by the fact that we were in the delivery area for Cuba Cuba Sandwicheria. We were also pleasantly surprised by the fact that our order took about half the estimated time to arrive. We had expectations that our sandwiches would be decently good and they did not disappoint. I can’t tell you how happy I am to discover this spot delivers. See ya later boring old pizza delivery. I’ve got Cuba Cuba now.(J/K pizza, I’ll always love you.)

Love their outdoor seating and that you can call-in or place orders online for take away. I’m a big fan of the steak sandwich and the plantains — perfect amount of crunch!

I love this place. I love the staff. I love the décor. I love the food. I love the mojitos. Fast service and good food. I had the mahi mahi plate, a side of cuban fries and a couple of mojitos. Perfect! My hubby, who is a cubano aficionado, thought his sandwich was very average, as did the truck driver who stopped by the bar to tell me he thought it was average… and to ask if I was Cuban. I took it as a compliment, but giggled about his impromptu sandwich review. The location is amazing… to my house. I wish they had the full menu of the original downtown location, but hey! it’s good for quick Cuban food. I’ll take what I can get.

The Cuban sandwich is always from Cuba Cuba(as it probably should be hence the name)

I tried the pulled ½ pork sandwich(as recommended by the worker) with a side of plantains & an empanada(this was the combination offer where instead of getting a full sandwich you get the ½). The empanada reminded me of taco pockets that I used to get in school cafeterias in elementary school. This sounds like a con but I liked that it tasted like taco pockets because it was nostalgic. The plantains weren’t as soft as I typically have them. The pulled pork came with a slaw & some onions & was sandwiched in between some Cuban bread(simple white bread similar to Italian bread). I thought the bread was great but the sandwich was overall a little messy. I would have liked the slaw to taste a little more sour/pickled. This is an order-at-the counter type restaurant where you’re given a number & they bring your food out to your table. The atmosphere is fun/casual & there is outside seating. There is plenty of parking. This place is a chain restaurant with 3 other locations in CO. You can order online as well. They have a number of things on the dessert menu that I’d like to try next time(4 leches, crema catalana, 3 leches & banana caliente). They also have rum flights & dessert cocktails.

My wife and I have gone to the regular Cuba Cuba several different times and alway love it. We thought we would give their sandwich restaurant a shot and we were glad that we did. The sandwiches were great. The service was great. It is a quickserve atmosphere, although we sat outside the the bartender came out and waited on us.

We sat at the bar this past Saturday and had dinner there. The bartender was super nice and the service overall was good. However I thought the food was pretty bland. I got the pork platter, which has pulled pork, rice, and beans. It just tasted like something I could make at home. It definitely needed more salt or seasoning or something. Meh. I wouldn’t mind trying one of their sandwiches, but I’m not sure I really want to go back.

My friend decided to bring me to a Cuban restaurant .I’m ready to wake up my taste buds. I am so happy they brought me here it is absolutely scrumdiddlyumptious I ordered palomilla for my main dish, that is a thin steak topped with caramelized onions with black beans and white rice. For dessert I ordered the flan that is a unique thick custard with carmelized sugar. The one thing that I enjoyed about this place so much is the food it light and does not make you feel lethargic .So definitely come here and enjoy some Cuba Cuba food.

I’m addicted to this place. I love the slow cooked pork so much that sometimes I dream about it. I’m sure you will too! I’m not going into details about everything I consumed. Suffice it to say, you’ll find something amazing here to eat, whether its the fried plaintains or succulent pork dishes.

My husband and I tried Cuba Cuba last night for the first time. The guy who took our order acted like we were an inconvenience, even though the restaurant was nearly empty … He told us our total before we were even done ordering. I got the grilled chicken sandwich and it was tasteless and dry. My husband got the Cuban sandwich and it was just ok. The Cuban fries has good flavor. Rude service(would it kill you to smile) and mediocre food = not returning customers

I get take out from here a good amount. I usually get the Cuban salad. I find that vinaigrette and the ingredients very good and fresh ingredients. Hearts of palm and pulled pork and crisp romaine. The plantain chips are pretty good, nothing too special. The guacamole is tasty though. The employees here are always very friendly and I know that when I want a quick fresh salad I can count on Cuba Cuba!

I liked, I did not love. Food felt greasy– which of course was because it was fried, but fries and plantains were extra greasy it seemed. The Pan con Lechon sandwich was pretty good. I’d order again, sans fried sides. I love the flavors of Cuban food. So I’ll be back. It’s close, reasonably priced and overall good food.

Had an amazing meal here the other night. I had never been to any of the Cuba Cuba Restaurants, and so this was my first time. I was told to try their plantains and mojitos, so that was all that I knew I needed. As for the meal, I had no clue what to get so I asked the man behind the counter what his favorite item was and without hesitation pointed to the Pescado Plate which is Mahi Tempura with a veggie-citrus slaw and habanero aiolo for $ 8. Sold. Holy crap, my mouth is just watering thinking about everything I ate, the fried plantains were to die for and they were tasty dipped in the habanero aiolo I got with my plate. The mojito was strong, but I really enjoyed it. The only bad thing I could even say about my meal was that I wish there was more! Don’t get me wrong– it was plenty and I was full at the end, but it was so good I didn’t want to stop eating it. Already excited to go back.

I feel weird reviewing Cuba Cuba Sandwicheria when I didn’t actually have a sandwich. I did try several happy hour snacks, though, and for those I’m happily rewarding four stars! I came with a friend and her daughter for a mid-afternoon snack. We tried: –plantain chips: tasty and addictive. –guacamole: I agree with some other reviewers that this could use some more salt(especially since it’s served with plantain chips instead of saltier corn chips), but the flavor and texture are great. –empanadas: definitely delicious! the ground meat filling was great, and we loved the habanero crème that came with for dipping. –tostones: I preferred the plantain chips and empanadas, but these weren’t bad. –chimichurri: delicious! we just asked for a side of it, and it went great with both the empanadas and the plantain chips. I didn’t end up trying a drink, but the happy hour mojitos were calling my name. We spent under $ 15 for a lot of food during the happy hour window. I can’t vouch for the sandwiches yet, but I’d definitely return for snacks.
