Cling & Peck

My husband and I used Cling and Peck for both our engagement photos and our wedding in July 2015 in Coon Valley, Wisconsin. We were seriously stunned by Dan and Erin and their abilities to be both professional and creative, while still taking time to get to know both of us and really capture our story. My husband and I live overseas, so we had never actually been to our venue until about 3 weeks before the wedding, and even then we didn’t really get enough time to look around the grounds. Not to worry, though! Dan and Erin took a few hours the day before the wedding to walk around the venue (a Norwegian nature and heritage center– so it was pretty huge, with lots of amazing spots) so that when my husband and I got there for our first look and pictures a few hours before the wedding, they knew exactly the spots they wanted to take us.
As an overseas bride, I’m sure I was more than a little paranoid about how planning how the day would go. Through it all, Dan and Erin were so detailed, making sure they were aware of everything going on so that they were there to capture the whole day, which really put my mind at ease. At the same time, though, they were so laid back and fun to have around that sometimes I just forgot that we were being photographed. They made us feel so relaxed and full of joy. When I look at the pictures, I’m taken back to our wedding in such a romantic, dreamy way, and a lot of that is thanks to Cling and Peck capturing it so well.
A few things we loved about Cling and Peck:
— They assessed our needs really thoroughly. We got photo and video, so they made sure to have extra photographers (I think they had them, plus 2 or 3 more). When I look at the pictures and video, I feel like our wedding was captured from every angle. They also had female and male photographers, so it wasn’t awkward for me getting pictures getting into my dress.
— They confirmed things (ie. schedule, location (s), names of attendants, etc) several times, at various points in the planning process.
— They listened really well. My husbands mom really wanted some specific more traditional (aka less artsy) photos. We, on the other hand, love Cling&Peck’s natural eye for incorporating gorgeous landscapes, moody lighting, etc. They made sure we got lots of both types!
— They’re super fun! They danced on the dance floor with us and people really loved having them around.

Beautiful pictures! great personality. I used Daniel services for my engagement pictures… My wedding is outside of the country otherwise I would have hire him for that too. Highly recommended…

Daniel filmed our September wedding in Chicago (at the Newberry Library) and did an absolutely fantastic job. He was very professional and has a brilliant artistic eye. Our final product was great! The 3 – 5 minute clip was done so well and captured some of our favorite moments. Having the raw footage was also great — the wedding was such a blur that it’s nice to reflect and see everything again a few months out. We are so lucky to have discovered Daniel! (He was also very affordable, but I parens this because the quality of his product is worth much more than we paid).
