My fiancé and I met Dana by complete chance. We had yet to find a wedding photographer that really «wow-​ed» us. We wanted someone who looked at wedding photography with a less traditional eye (aka boring wedding photography) and focused more on capturing moments in a fun and artistic way. At one of our wedding planning meetings, our planner was telling us about Dana and Spencer and how they might be a good fit for us. About 5 minutes later, Dana strolls in for another meeting. Needless to say it was totally meant to be!
Dana and Spencer shot our engagement photos last weekend and I can’t say enough about what an amazing experience we had! They were incredibly organized and easy to communicate with. This is so key when you’re planning a wedding! They had a million creative and unique ideas about the kind of look we should go for and the locations we should shoot at. We had so much fun the day of the shoot. Dana and Spencer are such easy people to be around. They made the day so relaxed and comfortable. We just received a few of our edited photos from Dana and they turned out amazing – just as we knew they would! The final product is true quality and incredibly unique. The engagement shoot has made us even more excited to have them shoot us on our wedding day! I’ll update my review again after our wedding. I know I’ll have more raving to do after I see those photos. :-)

As a wedding planner in Los Angeles, I have my pick of photographers to work with for any given event. When it came to my own wedding this past March, however, no one but Dana and Spencer would do. The fact that I opted to have them fly out from Chicago to LA just to shoot my wedding, rather than simply using any of the local & perfectly lovely, talented shutterbugs, is a testament to them as photographers and as people. Book them NOW, it will be the best decision you make for your wedding!

My husband and I hired Dana and Spencer to photograph our wedding this past year. Being a slight Bridezilla, photography was beyond important to me because it is the only thing to hold on to all the details you put such time and energy into creating. Dana and Spencer were beyond fantastic in not only catching everything from our special day but also being able to create works of art with each frame they caught. I am constantly being asked who my photographer was and how stunning the wedding photos turned out!
On top of creating beyond beautiful images, Dana and Spencer had such great energy and were easily able to organize the flow of our day. My family is also quite energetic and crazy and Dana did an amazing job of keeping everyone involved and engaged to catch amazing family portraits as well as catching them in their natural spirits.
The two of them will be worth every penny if you choose them to create the memories of your big day for you.
