Love this place. I have not had one bad bread here. They’re always bringing out bread straight from the oven, just listen for the«fresh bread» yells. I haven’t tried everything, but so far, my favorite is the«Chocolate Brioche». And I agree with most Unilocalers, that salted caramel iced coffee is the bizness.

Why do I not have one of these near me!!! 85 degrees is a very cool spot to get some sweet goodies! You pick up a tray with the paper liner and tongs and off you go! Their goodies taste wonderful! If you’re in the area and are looking for a good bakery for yourself or to take someone some yummy stuff, dont pass this place up! It’s totally worth coming here!

Great location and conveniently located inside the strip mall that also has other good restaurants and it is just next to Mitsuwa. This 85 Degrees Bakery has a good variety of baked goods. Their sea salt caramel coffee is strong and flavorful. Lots of free parking. Take the Carson exit from the 110 Fwy. Happy eating!

85 °C is a solid place for a variety of delicious breads, desserts and drinks. I prefer their desserts over the drinks; particularly the French Fruit Tart, any of the breads with custard and the chocolate chip cookies. I do enjoy their garlic bread and milk bread a lot too! Their boba and iced coffee are decently good. It’s a great place to grab a drink and dessert with a friend! They do stop baking after a certain hour so if you do go in at a later hour don’t expect a lot of choices from the bakery section! Overall it’s a good place to satisfy a sweet tooth or hang out.

This location always has a good variety of all the items and stuff comes out fairly quick if they don’t have it out. The line moves fairly quick, although there have been times where the line is pretty long and yet there’s only 1 cashier open. The drinks always take FOREVER to be made, so be weary. I will forever come back for my egg tarts and sea salt jasmine green tea. Be careful… I had one time that something was in the wrong spot(or just labelled wrong… thought it was a blueberry bun and it turned out to be a raisin one).

We get tea drinks and bakeries here whenever we go to 99 Ranch market, a convenient stop for us mostly. Drinks are quite tasty here! For some reason, I think they make better drinks than Torrance location, bakery selections are pretty much the same. Recently I have started to eat some cakes and breads, just a little carbs indulgence occasional. Good thing is the bakeries here are not too creamy and sugary, light desserts might be OK, I guess? Great drinks and bakeries at very affordable prices, the concept of this Taiwanese bakery chain is doing so well obviously!

Ok, I did a little research on this place and the name 85 c comes from 85 degrees being the perfect temperature to drink coffee. The founder was inspired by a 5 star hotel café. It was very expensive and he wanted to open a business with affordable pastries for the commoners. I would like to thank him. I fell in love with this place. It’s pleasing to the soul. My girlfriend started me with this addiction. She brought me some pastries for lunch one day. I took a trip and she brought me like 10 different pastries to take on the plane. My phat a** ate all of them. Everyone of them were made with quality ingredients and yummy goodness. I would highly recommend this place for a first date. It’s cheap, variety of tasty pastries, sweets, coffee, tea and a lot of people are there. Just in case you met them on Craigslist. Please try the Sea Salt Mountain green tea. So delicious.

So after 25 visits here, I got a better idea of the good, the bad and the ugly. The goods are Jalapeño rolls(although I still think they need to add more jalapeños), the brioche loaf(I don’t like their chocolate version), the tuna Danish is good but not great and my grandma loves their red bean bread. The bad are the looooooooooong wait to order drinks(I’m sorry to say this is 100 percent of the time), the lack of small drinks(they only offer medium and large) and if you come here when they open they don’t always have enough selection of baked goods ready. These goods should be ready from the time they open, in my opinion. The ugly are the strawberry mochi(do not fall for their buy one get one free deal) and lastly(I’m gonna mention this again) but they got a get a better handle on making their drinks more efficient. I’m still giving them three stars based on what I’ve experienced thus far. Overall it is still average with lots of room for improvements.

Always has fresh bread! Really friendly service and always stocked up on my favorite goodies. There is plenty of space to sit inside and the bathrooms are also relatively clean. I’m always impressed by how quickly the workers bag the bread. It must take a lot of practice! They’re very sanitary here as well. They tell you not to put the tongs you’ve used back on the rack, but people do it all the time. I’ve seen the workers go right over and remove the dirty ones once that happens.

When I’m in the mood to do coffee Asian style, I come to 85C. This was the closest location to me, so here I came to Gardena. This place is located in a very busy shopping center, behind the McDonalds. Parking was no issue, and this was probably due to the rainy weather. I walked in, and waited in the short line to order. I went with a number 2, 85C iced coffee. My ordered was processed in about 5 minutes. In that time, I took a look around their many offerings. They have an extensive array of pastries. I’m don’t have much of a sweet tooth, but this is a good option if you do. I saw a few people lounging around with friends and family. A good alternative to the big chain coffee shops. The staff was pretty cool, and the place is impeccably clean. It has a very bright and happy vibe too. Overall a good experience, I would repeat.

Ordered a honeydew slush, when I get my drink it’s a honeydew smoothie. I hate smoothies. I told the cashier that I had ordered a slush and she tells me we don’t make that in a slush form only smoothie. Well maybe she should have told me that when I said I wanted a slush not after they make it. Guess my drink is going in the trash don’t think I’ll be coming back bcuz of the way she responded, and they should have a sign next to the ones that are only smoothies and not have them all under slushies and smoothies. What if I was allergic to the milk? Glad I noticed b4 I put my straw in it.

I like 85 Degrees, but maybe not love it, possibly because it’s one of those«over promise, under perform» based on hype and expectation places. Personally it’s good, I’d go here, go here, and will continue to patronize it. However it’s no better than many of their peers be it JJ Bakery or many others who sell similar merchandise in the same self-service packaged format where you shop, get a tray, pick your items and pay. The décor and presentation is nice ‘tho, and they package their food very nicely.

What a cute bakery! If you have a sweet tooth, or want to be sweet and bring a friend here, this is the place to come for gourmet desserts. They offer an abundance of baked goods. Walk around and take your time reading all the labels and absorbing the delicious smells. Place is clean, modern and unique because they also offer cold drinks. I ordered the blueberry muffin with cream filling. So tasty. Enjoy!

I’ve stayed away from 85 because it’s always so dang crowded… and it’s for good reason. They offer top quality baked goods. The selection is plentiful, so you’ll have no problem finding something baked that’s good! What I like the most about their sweet breads and cakes, is that they aren’t too sweet. Iove that. Sweets don’t have to be saturated in sugar to taste good and 85 Degrees proves that point big time. The staff is nice and when you check out, every item you buy is individually wrapped with care. Glad I finally tried it. All the good things they say about 85 Degrees are so true!

My daughter drew me into the bakery having been there with friends. It’s super fun to grab a tray and some tongs and then walk around and pick whatever tickles your fancy. All the pastries look so cute and intriguing. There are some things you’d recognize and some that are new but inviting. My daughter loves the choco-bun — it’s a smooth brown bun with a chocolate filling(don’t mistake it for the squid ink bun, yes, the same kind Burger King was using for a limited time). I went for the egg custard and was pleasantly surprised by the flavor — very subtle sweet. The ham and cheese was tasty — although I would have loved a slightly flakier croissant. The hot dog also was a slightly heartier choice as well if you’re looking for more of a meal. I didn’t have any of the really sweet desserts but the cakes were beautiful! I’d definitely consider using them for a special occasion.

I love this place! Just wish they would open one on the west side. It’s so far from me. I can seriously always find a few things I’m dying to try to when I walk in. It seems like there’s something new every time. By far my favorites are the sweet pork buns, cheese dog and the milk buns! The service is quick and painless. It’s been packed and it’s been empty — but they are always fast to get you out of the register line and enjoying your pastries. Parking is always a pain at this location. It’s constantly packed and there’s high turnover for spots, so watch those blind spots! I’m not so much a far of their drinks. The milk tea is too sweet and their coffee is just regular. Need to try some of their other stuff, but not really excited about their drinks.

I don’t know if this 85C same as the one in Irvine but I would not wait in line here at all. The pastries selections seem to be less compares to the other locations. Not sure if it is because I went there at night time around 7pm, the pastries just wasn’t the same. Got the Coffee bread item but there were red beans inside, a little too sweet not what I wanted. Won’t go out of my way to come here.
