Toujouse Bar

I LOVE this bar. It is absolutely beautiful. I always frequent it when I am in Galveston. The bartenders are seasoned and know how to make delicious old fashions, martinis, manhattans, Bloody Mary, Moscow Mule, … I’ve tried them all.
It gets really busy during any event so if you get a spot at the bar you’ve got to protect it! The bar menu is limited but every thing I have ever ordered off the menu has been exceptionally delicious. Not the kind of food you expect from a bar. We make a point of not eating at a restaurant and choosing the food here. The staff are really courteous and attentive.

This bar is a nice place to grab an after dinner drink. They have an extensive martini list as well as a few food options offered (including a charcuterie plate!)
Waitstaff was friendly and attentive, drinks were delicious, and there was a nice piano and base player performing in the lobby. This bar wasn’t overly crowded and it is a great place to just sit and chat.
The only thing left to be desired was having some coffee drinks offered. They have a coffee bar 30 feet away, but you can’t order an Irish coffee or an amaretto coffee. It is a minor suggestion, mainly because it’s winter and a warm after dinner offering would have really hit the spot.
Great experience and we will definitely be back!
