Laid back atmosphere. Near the Strand. Great customer service. Awesome selection and very reasonable prices. The patio outside is pretty nice! They only sell beer and wine.

If you come on a Friday or Saturday, you get to sit in on a Little Jewford show! What is a Little Jewford, you ask? Little Jewford is known around the world as Kinky Friedman’s keyboard player, sidekick, and the«last surviving member» of the original band Kinky Friedman and The Texas Jewboys. He’s been called a «man of many voices» and an «idiot savant». Little Jewford’s solo performances blend musical talent, wit and humor into an entertaining one-of-a-kind show. He describes his act as a Dean Martin and Victor Borge cocktail, with a twist of the Marx Brothers. An internationally celebrated piano entertainer, Little Jewford plays everything from rat pack cool to sophisticated smooth, a bit of classical, ragtime, and original compositions, plus, to top it all off, comedy songs, his own personal stories, and musings. After you are finished with the show, head on over to Pho20, the best Phở in all of Texas!

Beautiful shop and lounge! I frequent cigar lounges and have been to lounges all over the country. Havana Alley offers a walk-in humidor, relaxing atmosphere, gorgeous furniture, captivating art and décor, big screen TV with surround sound and more. No expense spared on this gem. The owner, Carlos, and his staff are very knowledgeable and friendly. Membership costs $ 25 and includes discounts on purchases(so, it pays for itself very quickly), event notification, and unlimited use of the shop’s seductive lounge.

Sorry, I can’t give this place a decent review. I was there for less than 2 minutes. I travel a fair amount and always look for a great cigar lounge when in new areas. I’m in Galveston for the weekend for a conference and wanted to have a cigar and a drink while I got some work out of the way on my laptop. I was ready to pick out a nice quality stick to go with my craft beer bomber and was informed I HAD to be a member to drink. I left and won’t return. Any cigar lounge, especially in a touristy area, that forces one to buy a membership first does not care about customer service. Guess they don’t need or want visitors’ money. Too bad.

This is a good bar for the price. They actually have their own cigar brand. Is a good local feel. Only downside is they do not serve alcohol it is BYOB friendly however. Well lit and comfortable leather furniture, as you’d expect in a high class cigar Lounge

This is a great jewel! I know nothing about cigars, but wanted to get a special one for my brother. They have a walk-in humidor and the owner knows his stuff and is glad to help. If you want a special smoke, this is the place to go.

This place has a nice historical feeling to it. Love the soaring high ceilings. Nice lounge and conversation spaces. We did not get to spend much time here because we were doing the beach thing with family, but we just wanted to drop by, get some sticks and check it out for future reference. We will definitely be back. The guy at the register was helpful and friendly. My Fiancé really knows his sticks & he thought the selection was good & the prices were very decent.

Friendly place. The owner«Charlie» is a great guy to chat with. Members get a discount on purchases and sometimes special invitations on the members’ email list to fly to a cigar plantation out of the country where the cigar people give you room and board and tours. You pay for the flight. I have not done it, but it would be cool if you had the money and can handle smoking cigars frequently throughout the day.

Okay, so I wish I’d known about this place before I left my job in Galveston. It was awesome. There is a decent sized humidor with a good selection of cigars. They’re a little pricier than what you’ll find in most humidors in Houston, but it isn’t bad at all. They don’t have much in the area of accessories, but they do carry Dunhills, so kudos for that. The interesting thing about this place is that you can only drink if you’re a member. And you can only drink if you’re a member who brings their own alcohol. While I knew that Galveston still had a bunch of old school members only clubs, it was interesting to see it in action. It looked like a bunch of middle age men(no women were visible), sitting in comfy chairs and not talking to each other. Not sure how much membership costs, but since 21 is next door and they allow smoking indoors and comes with a fully stocked bar, I’m not sure what the benefits really are.
