The sign says«Beerfoot Brewery» which enticed us to go in. Not what I expected, there’s a few tables inside and a pool table. However, such a comfortable environment. I’m not one to sit at the bar, but we were visiting for or anniversary and just wanted to hang out with a few beers. I tried their pale ale which was a bold beer for my tasting but the tap options were great!

Dear Beerfoot, You know I love you, and probably always will. BUT… please figure out the peanut situation! Used to be we could get decent peanuts to snack on but now, without fail, the nuts are rotten! Storage issue? Bad supplier? A disturbance in the force? I don’t know, but if the signature snack of your bar is this bad, please rethink it and come up with a palatable alternative. Signed, A Fan

great beer selection. good atmosphere. good bartenders. not a fan of the jukebox music model however. I feel a bar that makes its customers pay for music or have no music at all does not put the customer’s experience first.

My wife and I stopped in on a Wed night to have a drink, we’re staying at the hotel next door. Visiting Galveston from MN and was excited to see a tap room so close to our hotel! Great selection of local brews and others, happy to see we were there on $ 5 flight night. Bartender was great, wish you weren’t out of Beerfoot pint glasses though. Overall experience was good, I’m sure I would be here far too often if I was a local.

Great selection of craft brews and locally brewed beera. Staff is knowledgeable and happy to help suggest drinks. Also has a full bar for those that don’t like beer. No food, but they don’t mind if you have food brought in

If I could give 0 stars I would. Saw this place on Unilocal, and was super excited to try some good beer. First impression was good, clean, nice looking. Waited 15 minutes, tried multiple times to flag the bartender down. She looked at me, and looked away. Only served the regulars. Walked out with nothing. What a joke.

Such a chill spot compared to all of the other tourist trap bars on the Seawall. They brew a couple beers themselves and had a ton of other craft beers on tap as well. My boyfriend had a No Label beer(from Katy) and I had a Colorado IPA. Foosball, pool, and darts to play as well! A super casual, chill place in Galveston!

This place is decent. Good selection of beers, spacious, and I like the converted-garage feel. The bartender was all right, but not very friendly, which I’m getting sick of dealing with, frankly(not just here, but everywhere). I totally get not wanting to work with people or be friendly with complete strangers; that’s why I don’t work in the service industry. Maybe if that’s not your thing, you shouldn’t either… I don’t need my bartender to be my best friend, but a smile and a little light conversation, as opposed to acting like you’d rather be anywhere than behind a bar serving me a drink right now, goes a long way.

This is my favorite spot on the island to go the beer selection is wonderful and they brew their own beer as well the view of the gulf is worth the stop and you can actually order for outside restaurants and have it deliveredI try to make my monetary donation to this establishment at least once a week

Beerfoot Beach Bar is a great place to come grab a drink in Galveston. Although it is a pretty small place, they have good service and a wide variety of beer. My only complaint is that it is pretty hard to find parking so you may have to park down the street and walk to the bar.

Really nice craft beer place. Good service. tried a few of their beers and very good. My only comment is parking but that’s an issue everywhere on Galveston.

It’s about time Galveston has a bar with a very awesome selection of craft beers and this place is it! Over 2 dozen crafts on tap and twice as much in their fridge, easy to see!

Great bar. I was here in the off season. They had pretty ridiculously good and varied taps. They were also nice and accommodating. I was there pretty late with a bunch of folks from a scientific conference and they were supremely welcoming. Two kind, new friends even drove me back to my hotel at the end of the night. Looking for good beer selection? Go here. Looking for good service? Go here. Looking for good folks? Go here.

I have been back a few times since i left my tip, and had good experiences. I love their«flight and bites» night, and I usually head over here after a «bogo» burrito at float every once in a while, or after a surfing session. I think the«bad brew» i was referring to must have been just a fluke, because every in house brew before, and since has been good. It just comes with the territory I guess as i’ve had worse brews from bigger breweries! They always have a good selection, and i’ve never had a problem with service.

See my tip. Like several others in the ‘not recommended’ reviews I will only return to this establishment if the man who has told me I am banned from this place leaves(of course right?). I just don’t understand how such a fantastic empire like Yaga’s is letting this guy get away with being rude to everyone. Check Facebook as well and you will see this is an ongoing trend.

You have to be kidding me. This is one of the worst places I have ever visited, My daughter and I both enjoy craft beers and were excited to find this one while visiting Galveston in April. THe bartender was very helpful and told us about the many different available choices. He even had a beer of his own creation on tap that evening. When we made a return trip this week we couldn’t believe we were in the same bar. The bartender working on the evening of May 6th was the extremely rude and offered no information about the new beers on tap or what their specials were for that day. With empty glasses he would pass by and not even acknowledge you. When my daughter called him on the bad service he asked us to leave. We then felt we were overcharged and returned the next afternoon to ask for a copy of our ticket and were asked to wait outside. I have seen several posts on their Facebook page complaining about the same person and these people also expressed their intention of not returning, My family loves Galveston and we travel there if during off season. It was very upsetting to be treated this way. Unless the owner of this very nice establishment gets a handle on this, he will surely cost him this business. For a better idea of other bad experiences please click the link at the bottom of the page that says not recommended reviews. These express other peoples experiences much like our own.

good spot! fantastic beer selection brew their own small batches also just a cool place to hang out with a relaxed, friendly vibe(we had a great time chatting with a regular… were treated like people; not ‘outsiders’) cool factor: other area craft brewery guys just cold hanging out, drinking beers, having a good time ‘on the island’

We live down the street from Beerfoot and came to enjoy some drinks with friends. I love the laid back atmosphere and the view of the ocean with huge windows that open to let the breeze in. They make a small selection of their own beers(which were yummy) along with carrying a huge selection of other brands. They also serve liquor incase beer isn’t your thing. This might be one of the best places in Galveston to get a laid back brew! Love it!

I fell in love with this place after coming here on a Friday afternoon after work. I’m a fan of beer and this place has a lot of it, and the good stuff too! They have two walls of draft selections and a rather large cooler full of the bottled stuff. Beerfoot has a couple of their own brews that were really tasty. I also got the Lindemens Framboise because I’m a girl and it’s my favorite. They have some happy hour specials throughout the week and entertainment such as a pool table, darts, Foosball, and televisions. The service was great. The bartender was there by herself and she did a great job handling the crowd of people. I also liked the fact that it was a bit of an older crowd, just drinking beer and shooting the breeze.
