Yes, older Asian lady… rude, avoid her. Returned defective items ordered online, upon next visit, out on the floor they are. Dress w/hole where sensor was, out on floor. Gorgeous black suede boots w/embroidery, one bigger than the other & a hole between sole & upper boot… out on floor for another unsuspecting customer. I explained why I was returning them, he agreed! During my last purchase, attendant signaling via headphone speaker to other staff, to follow humble looking customer. OMG… I was so uncomfortable for her. They will help you if you look like you have money to spend. Some are stuck up, some super sweet. Quality of clothing… u can find at Macy’s. Try Free People… similar to Anthro.

This store is always decorated in the most unique and flattering ways! Their window set up is always intriguing and invites the customer in. It is a little expensive for my budget, but I do like to go in and browse and get ideas of what they have and what is trending it is always great quality and when I can spend I will!

I’m a big anthro fan! Every time I am in here it makes my creative side come out! This store has a great staff always very friendly and helpful! I bought my maid of honors dress here and they were more then happy to steam the dress and bag it properly!

I was a huge Anthro fan till my last two experiences. The sales staff were rude to me and my mother. I then asked another sales clerk a question and she gave me a snooty look and answered with«no clue». I refuse to go back and pay that much for such crappy service.

I’m a 2 wks old Fresnoan and decided to hit up the local mall to make me feel right at home. Anthropologie is one of my favorite store, so I’m happy that there is one in the area! As I walk into the store, I was greeted by a nice sales associate. I browsed through the store then headed for the sales section(this is my usual routine). I found so many great things. Best of all, no one was crowding/pushing/shoving me in the sales section like so many of the Anthro in SoCal. I grabbed a couple of things to try on, and another nice sales associate immediately offered to take those to the fitting room as I browse some more. Ended up buying a pair of AG jeans on sale. SCORE! I will definitely come back… very often ;)

Really nice store, but it is PRICEY! You pay an arm and a leg for one of their casual dresses… and every other thing in the store. But the atmosphere is nice, they have nice products, and it’s good quality clothes. The staff is extremely rude if you’re not carrying around a bunch of stuff to buy though.

I am a huge Anthro fan. I have been to several stores around Cali and half of my closet is pure Anthropologie clothes. I would love to give this specific store 5 stars, however I need to minus one because the staff are generally pretty rude. There is one particular older Asian woman who is rude every time I go in there, and i go in there a lot! She is very condescending and almost refuses to help me if I ever have questions. One time, I told her I was looking for a specific shirt I had seen up front the day before, she laughed at me and said, «Those went fast, if you wanted it you should have bought it yesterday!» What a rude thing to say a paying guest! I promptly went to a different staff member who directed me to their online store(which I use frequently) and connected me with someone who ordered it for me over the phone and had it shipped for free to my house! That is my idea of service. That older woman needs to realize she is working at a store in the mall and will be required to help all kinds of customers, being rude and condescending will get her nowhere good. I avoid her all together when I go in. Their clothes, kitchen accessories, and jewelry are unbelievable but very pricey. Love love love Antho!

LOVE Anthropologie. I usually buy work or cute vintage inspired outfits there. This store is just missing shoe selection. Other than that they have everything I would need. This place is always kept clean and perfect. But I do wish the workers here were nicer. LOL They’re kind of stuck up and you need to approach them to get help. Even though they see you struggling or staring at a very high piece of clothing that I obviously can not reach. Believe me if I worked there I would get a ladder myself. The fitting room people are usually nice when people are there, I usually just stand there and wait. I’ve definitely had better service at other Anthropologies. :)

I have to say, my review is biased as I am in a seriously romantic and committed relationship with this store. While the Fresno store isn’t the largest and has yet to carry their line of shoes, I have to say that this store is doing something right. Their customer service is out of this world awesome. The dressing room girls are super fast and exceptionally friendly. And I have never had to wait more than five minutes at the register. There’s always a girl ready to start a room or store my finds behind the counter so that I have free hands to shop. The store is always perfectly decorated, well stocked, and here’s the best part… they have seating. Since they sell home furnishings they have several couches on display and it seems they welcome customers to take a seat. Perfect for weary husbands/boyfriends; and whats worse than a cranky man rushing you through the sale racks? If you’re new to this store(or any Anthro for that matter) head straight to back. Look for the closet-like room and be ready to sort. Almost everything goes on sale within a few weeks(Tuesdays, typically). If you fall in love with an item, keep the item # and wait for the sale. If you find the item gone during a sale, don’t fret! They will find another store and do a charge send. I believe shipping is typically free with this service, too!

If you don’t like short, tight, hard-edged 80s inspired, or want to dress like Sarah Palin, Anthro is one of your few options in Fresno. The aesthetic is feminine, shabby vintage(sometimes veering into painfully whimsical), and staples like jeans. Fit is hit and miss — I guess that the clothes, from a stable of domestic and international designers, are intended to cater for a wide range of body shapes. Quality can be problematic, but staff are very good about taking things back that have disintegrated in the wash etc. Take«dryclean only» labels seriously(I learned the hard way!). The Fresno store has a narrower range of stock than Anthros in bigger cities — no shoes! — which is unfortunate, but if they don’t have something you want in store, they will ship it for free so you can try it on at home, and then return it if it doesn’t work.

I love this place. Great selection of good quality clothing. Their sale area usually has great stuff. I love their kitchen and home items. I will say that i really hate their dressing rooms. those lights in there really bring out your hidden flaws. but other than that everyone is always super friendly and helpful.

It’s an Anthro, so 4 stars… the clerks were ok, but surprisingly had no clue about their price adjustment policy.

This is a great store, it has everything from clothes to house wear. It’s one of the nicer stores and the prices match the quality of the clothes. My shirts from there have lasted me years. Perhaps high prices and good quality are foreign to those who are not acquainted with fashion and trend.

If you want something pretty in Fresno, and pretty fast, you’ll have to get it here, whether you like it or not.

To me, this is an odd store. Don’t quite get the product mix of clothing geared towards 20 – 30 somethings and vintage-inspired kitchen and bath items. The prices also do not seem to match the 20 – 30 crowd who is getting out of college, if they went, and do not have a lot of disposable income. Skirts run $ 80 – 120; tops $ 40 – 80. I don’t get it.
