This is the most delectable curry(Indian) flavored pizza anywhere in the world… except for India. Instead of booking a flight to that exotic destination, just eat the curry chicken pizza at Bombay Pizza House. The spices are fragrant and just-right, although not for the faint of heart. The curry veggie delite is also delish, probably a tad spicier than the chicken version. The achari gobhi pizza is unique and addictive, with freshly ground coriander seeds, tiny cauliflower florets and cilantro. The crust has the perfect thickness and the amount of cheese on the pizza complements the generous serving of toppings. Not to be missed.

My wife and I had lunch here on Saturday. I was curious about this place for months, and so I’m glad that we found ourselves here(our earlier plans fell through, and I didn’t think that we would eat out at all, or I would have had my camera on me). This place is quite popular(I’m not surprised that it’s averaging 4.5 stars). While we were around, at least 5 people took pizzas to go(an annoying guy was all antsy about his order, like he had a plane to catch). We were pressed for time, and so I rang the bell at the counter after we were standing around a minute. Our cashier promptly emerged from the back. His English could have been better, but he was attentive and thorough. He even told us how long we would have to wait(15 minutes). The chairs, tables, and booths are comfortable. (This is a solid place for families and groups.) The seating capacity is 94(the maximum occupancy is 112). There’s a room to the left that can be reserved for large groups(parties or meetings). Along with some international soccer teams, a lot of local sports teams are represented(ex: the Raiders; Giants; Warriors), but the restaurant could be decorated even more(the atmosphere could be a bit more festive). There are 6TV’s inside. They’re big and really nice. The Games Room only features 2 arcade games. It’s very small. There are also some gumball and sticker machines. A woman glared at me twice. I briefly wondered if I owed her money. (The woman was just lost in thought. I was also eating like a madman at first.) 2 guys sitting near us were on a blind date. Listening to them getting to know each other was kind of cute. The floor was a little dirty, and a table near us wasn’t bused until the restaurant became busy. I was surprised to discover that there are no public restrooms inside. The shopping center restrooms, however, are just to the left of the entrance(they’re about 15 yards away). The hours are great: 11 a.m.-10 p.m. daily. This place delivers and caters. You can also order online. The receipts are helpful and even sweet(«It has been our pleasure serving you!!! Have a phenomenal day!!!»). We were overcharged a cent. I’m pressing charges. ;) Note: All prices include tax. Fountain drinks are $ 2.18. There are 6 fountain machine selections. My wife had Barq’s Root Beer, and I had Coke and Fanta Orange. : Garlic Sticks With Cheese($ 5.46): 8.25÷10. You receive 15 pieces, making this a good value. Our pieces were tasty, and most of them were nicely sized(it’s common for the pieces at the edges to be tiny). I would give a higher score if they had been covered with more cheese. Meat Lover’s(Medium– $ 17.51): 8⁄10. «Red Sauce, Cheese, Ham, Salami, Pepperoni, Linguica, Sausage & Beef.» Our 12″ pizza could have featured more toppings. In particular, there wasn’t enough ham or salami. I’m a fan of the red sauce. It’s strong, but not overly so. The linguica and sausage were meaty, but«off»(they didn’t taste that fresh). The beef didn’t stand out much, but the crust and cheese did. The ham, salami, and pepperoni were delicious too. We had to wait about 20 minutes for it, but our pizza was really cooked well. The woman who served us was friendly and quick. Only napkins and hot sauce are on the tables, but you can ask for pepper and Parmesan cheese. Although they’re not that thick, the pizzas here are pretty filling. The Ardenwood Plaza parking lot is small(it’s long, but not wide) and shabby(old). The 2 men standing around outside were sort of creepy. Bombay Pizza House has only been around since 2012. I’m sure, though, that it will be in business for many more years to come.

This is more like gourmet type pizza. Its not doughy and greasy or too thick. Almost feels healthy. My favorites are tikka pizza and veggie pizza. Pizza sauces are delicious. Real cheese. toppings are fresh. Wont go too much into details since there are many reviews on that. Go crazy and try the half and half so you can try two different kinds. Depending on your taste– there are many combos and flavors. Really good pizza–

Bombay’s Pizza is seriously da’ BOMBdiggity, no doubt… Thumbs, including toe thumbs all the way up! Being a huge fan of Indian Food but not so much for pizza, I have to admit I was a little skeptical about the idea of curry inspired pizza flavors, but being the huge curry lover that I am– plus with the recommendation from my brother, I was down to try it. Using the online ordering system on Unilocal was super easy. We ordered half/half chicken masala and achari chicken, which both come with white sauce therefore you are able to combine them. Also ordered was a small curry chicken pizza(my fav!) and a small pineapple pizza(for my husband, since he’s not that big of a fan for curry). To top it off we ordered a side of 10 piece Tandoori(spicy) chicken wings. All in all, this order came out to about $ 65+tip. I have to say, the concept of combining pizza and Indian food is truly amazing and I am so proud to say I am a huge fan of Bombay’s. The flavors are exactly what the dishes would be as if you were eating them with basmati rice. You still get the yummy after curry taste with each and every bite. The chicken is lean, but still very juicy! I absolutely loved the curry chicken pizza– SOGOOD! The tandoori wings were super good, with a slight heat kick– I would totally order these again! Tip: ask to have these baked twice, to make them extra crispy! Would I eat at this establishment again? HeckYEAH. Would I recommend this place to friends and family? DoubleHeckYeah.

Very popular among Indians. The chicken pizza is very delicious. The large size is enough for 3 people. You can also order two flavor for one pizza. There are some free game machines for customers.

Pizza and Indian food, you say?! This is a very unique place! The three of us came here and got an XL pizza, half curry chicken and half curry veggie. We also got some curry chicken wings(which I did not try). It took a long time for the food to arrive(approx 30 min). When it arrived, man was it covered in toppings! For the curry pizzas, instead of tomato sauce, it’s curry sauce. This is super unique and cool but be warned, it’s very heavy. You can’t eat a lot of it but it is tasty. Despite all the toppings, the crust never gave out underneath it all and was solidly constructed. I had some leftovers the next day and I was rushing around while eating it. Let me just say, I love this format of curry… it’s utensil free and easy to eat… it’s curry on bread! Cool!

This is our go-to pizza place in the area. I LOVE desi pizza, and usually get some variation of the curry chicken, perhaps halving it with the aloo gobi. Crust is always, consistently crispy, tasty, with a slight buttery quality to it. Other places in town may use cardboard – not sure. Sauce is good – not too spicy, not bland at all. Toppings are fresh. Service is good, consistent, and when the pizza is promised, it is ready(I haven’t done delivery on this as I’m out of their jurisdiction). You can also get salads to go with your pizza, so you can pretend you’re being healthy. I love to do that!

My first taste of Indian style pizza and it was great! Ambiance: informal. You order at the counter, take a number, and they deliver it to you. We arrived at 7pm on a Friday night and found plenty of tables, but when we left at 9:30 the place was quite busy. Food: Chili paneer pizza was my favorite, it’s spicy for my Americanized palette. The aloo kofta(vegetarian) pizza was also quite spicy and good. The curry vegetable was a nice balance, less spicy and full of veggies. Portions: big! We ordered smalls but either they were accidentally mediums or the pizzas are bigger than the signs indicate. We all took leftovers for lunch.

AWMAN. Glitch in the Unilocal system is making me rewrite my whole review again… but I’m glad to, since this place is worth writing for! Long story short, this place introduced me to a new type of pizza but also satisfied my cravings for pizza. I came here with three others on a Sunday afternoon(1PM) and it was fairly quiet but with tables filled here and there. We ordered: –1 mango lassi //yogurt was a bit too overpowering, making the drink more«sour» than sweet. Appetizers: –10 hot wings –10BBQ wings –10 tandoori wings //All wings were yummy! FYI, they are baked, not fried! Good portion size, good flavoring. Comes with packs of ranch! Desi pizza: –1 Extra-Large pizza with ½ curry chicken masala, ½ chicken tandoori //TBH, I can’t remember the exact names but I do know I loved the one with the green coated chicken! It was sweet and went well with the savory pizza. The other orange-red chicken was good too, but compared to the green one, I know which one I would get a 5th slice of! +1LOTSOFCHICKEN. #ProteinOverload +1DELICIOUSDOUGH! Thick yet yeasty, soft but firm to hold all the yummy toppings. Pros: –Awesome food! What more can I say?! Good selection for everyone of all ages. Cons: –Slow service. We waited a good 25 minutes before our food came… but I guess that’s the trade off for hot pizza! Tips/Observations: –I believe they collaborate with Doordash?! Overall, would come here again! Or actually, I want to try take out so I don’t have to sit in their uncomfortable booth chairs.

You get the BEST ‘CHILLIPANEERPIZZA’ here! Always wanted to try one of these Desi Pizzas and glad we stopped here. Was here with the Hubby Friday night 9ish, it was reasonably crowded and thankfully, no service delays. This is a typical pizza — bar house, located inside Ardenwood plaza, having a lively ambiance with all the tv’s around, one of them being a large screen projector, showing the day’s on-going sports/games. One of the great places to catch score updates for sure. The seating area holds good for large groups, although can’t expect it to be a completely spic and span space. Staff at the ordering area and the waiter who served our pizza were brisk. No trouble here. Now, back to pizzas. We ordered half and half 14″(Large) Chilli Paneer(Indian style) & Premium Veggie(American style), costs $ 19.99. Of the two, we both liked Chilli Paneer more. I’ll give it a full score 5⁄5 for it’s authentic taste and flavors. It was a perfect blend of paneer, all the veggies including capsicum, tomatoes, regular onions, scallions and the three flavor zones of sweetness, saltiness and spiciness. The moment we were served our Hot & Fresh Pizza, we could even smell the enticing chilli paneer flavor from the aromatic vapor coming out of it, making us to feel like we’ve had our yummy bites already. Then, after actually having our first bites, aided by the cheesy chewing process, our instant reaction was«Mmmm.WOW.THISISGREAT.». Honestly, the taste lingered and lasted the whole night! On the other hand, my taste buds gives Premium Veggie a score of only 3⁄5. It was a decent mix of red onions, tomatoes, black olives and artichokes(although artichokes didn’t do the justice as how you get in Pieology). It was not bad altogether, but somehow from the delicious deep dive that I made into Chilli Paneer previously, whatever other 2nd flavor I had added to my meal the other day, could only possibly make me feel OK. So, my rating for this is not because of some cooking mistakes that they made, I solely blame the lip-smacking Chilli Paneer ;) and of course my comparative thoughts on Pieology’s best served artichokes! As we always do, we didn’t miss the chance of sipping a fountain drink($ 1.99) between our every pizza bite. Adds as an excellent side to pizzas any day!(Not sure whether the cup is refillable)!! Interested to try more of their Desi Premium Pizzas!

3.5 stars. This is my 2nd time here. I did a To-go order on saturday evening 7pm. I ordered over the phone and they were ready in 20 mins. Fast service at least on this weekend. I got 3 extra large pizzas. These are truly extra large as they were almost 2 ft diameter. I still had lots of leftovers even with 12 people eating. I think you can feed about 6 people per extra large pizza, if thats all you had to eat. Chicken Tikka –little spicy Curry Chicken Masala — a little more spicy Tandoori Chicken — little spicy I honestly cannot tell the difference in taste between these pizzas. They just all tasted like the same Indian spice. It is good, but for some reason I wasn’t that excited with it. I seem to like the Tasty Indian Pizza in Sunnyvale more. However, this place is closer to me. The first time I was here, I ate in with family. They have quite a few tvs to see sports. Otherwise, I think I ordered similar pizzas that first time I was here. Service and parking was fine since I was in the 20 min parking pick up.

Hands-down the best place for desi pizza. Living in Fremont I have been spoiled with plenty of options for Indian pizza, but this is the best I’ve had so far. My go-to choice? CURRYCHICKENMASALA. You can’t go wrong with the tasty spices and the familiar aroma. It’s delicious and the ingredients are fresh. And while it is true that I am not Indian, one of my good friends is one. :-) In fact he recommended this place and assured me that it is as authentic as it gets! Service here is quick and the staff is helpful. I have no complaints. Atmosphere is super casual, plenty of TV screens that show cricket games or local sports channels. Bathrooms are located outside, but you’d have to ask the cashier for the keys to enter. It was quite a challenge opening the door, a kind stranger had to help me!

Very unique blend to Indian food and Pizza. I don’t care for pizza but I love Indian food. Combine the two? A must try. Presentation: The took over the old Domino’s or Pizza Hut, I forgot which one. I passed by the area a lot as a kid and after moving back to town, I no longer pass right by it without purchasing a pizza. Typical pizza vibe, has multiple TVs that plays basketball & football games. Customer Service 5⁄5: Definitely a genuinely nice group of workers here. On all occasions, I have not been disappointed with my visit. Actually came here last night, 25 minutes to closing, and none of the coworkers gave my friend and I any shady glances. They were happy to help us and gave us a very accurate estimate time. (Came here once and the servers accidentally gave my wings to the delivery drivers. We had to wait 25 minutes after we have received our pizzas to receive it. So the manager generously came out and gave us a 25% coupon for next purchase after apologizing. Can’t find that kind of generosity anywhere else.) Food 5⁄5: Acharri Wings is a must(try). Very different type of spice that you cannot find at any traditional wing spot. As for the pizza, I create a custom one that by calling it loaded is an understatement. Create your own(my own meat lover creation): Masala paneer(definitely get this, I refer to them as cheese chunks), tandoori chicken, curry chicken, and masala chicken. Next time you’re done with the gym, give that a try. I’ve also tried their BBQ chicken pizza, way better here. Overall, 5/5, definitely give this place a try and make t a regular. You will not be disappointed.

I finally tried this place! It’s literally two minutes away from my house and my friends and I were craving something Indian but not really at the same time… So this Indian fusion pizza was our go to! We ordered half paneer and half chicken tikka. I only had the chicken tikka one because I’m not sure how I feel about paneer on a pizza… How ever we also got their cheesy bread sticks which were really good too! We did a to go order. This place is convenient & costs bout 25 bucks for a pizza. I would definitely try this place again. Wish I had a coupon lol

This is my third Indian pizza spot in town that I’ve tried. All of them have been delish but I think it comes down to the details of crust and fullness of flavor. I will have to focus on flavor next time I go around to all the spots but for now I can say the crust here is pretty great! Took my parents here. They aren’t very fond of Indian foods but they really enjoyed the pies here. The exotic flavors really punched the taste buds. They oohed and aahed at every bite and then bragged to family members afterwards. Good sign! It seems(and I could be wrong) that some of these crusts might be Naan inspired. They do have the thickness of a standard pizza crust(not flat and not deep dish). But, I noticed the bottom has a bit of a crunch which was pleasurable to the buds. Consistent with another Curry Pizza House, if you want halvesies with toppings options you can only do it on L and XL pizza pies(darn!). We ordered half Chicken Tikka and half Curry Chicken Masala. They mentioned the curry Chicken was their hottest pizza but I actually found the spiciness on both to be about the same. I was expecting the curry side to make me cry but I was able to tolerate it. I tend to like medium spicy foods. I found the Chicken Tikka to be more robust in flavor but it’s personal preference, I think. The curry tasted like curry and needed one more flavor(maybe green onion or garlic or something). MIght have become a 5 stars if the flavors were more rounded and full. Pizzas were a little overpowerful with saltiness. This locale used to be a Roundtable pizza so when you go inside, it may seem a bit familiar. A nice cross between east and west!

The first time I went to this spot was in a group. I was meeting my boyfriend’s friends and new people there for the first time so eating was not my top priority.(eating in front of new people is hard for me. *shy) Anyways, what stood out to me the first time, was that there was chicken curry pizza. Only had a slice of that and was amazed at how tasty it was. Fast forward about two years later, my boyfriend and I were trying to figure out where to go for dinner earlier this evening. I told him i was craving thai and he wasn’t diggin that idea so much, then I mentioned pizza and beer sounded good. Then i remembered Bombay! Got to the restaurant around 4:30 and we were the only two in there. Quite a few take out orders came and went from what I observed. We decided to do a large half Chicken Curry and Chicken Tikka Massala with a side of garlic bread a pint of Blue Moon and Stella. Best pizza run we’ve had in a very long time. There was just enough pieces of garlic bread for the two of us to devour, the beers were good tap. The Tikka Massala was spicy enough to have us keep eating more and the Curry contrast from the Tikka was amazing. I am looking forward to getting my own personal size tikka massala next time.

After a long strenous hike, friends and me decided to grab an Indian pizza and we called in advance to place our order. On the phone, the person was courteous and helpful in recommending a large curry chicken pizza(he claimed it was their spiciest pizza and our group was looking for something spicy). When we got there the person behind the counter asked us literally loudly what the name on the order was and when I confirmed my name, he was like ‘umm, that doesnt seem to be the name on the order, can you confirm your phone number” it almost seemed like he would run me through an interrogation just to confirm my identity and he had a terribly booming voice(not sure if it was his idea of being friendly but we were all completely put off by it) Anywho once we ate the pizza, none of us were ‘wowed’ by it. It was quite average in comparison to canam pizza in Seattle or the tasty sub pizza in Sunnyvale — the chicken was not very flavorful and it was far from spicy, the pizza base was doughy and didnt seem like it was made well. Overall a 2.5 star because it was open on MLK and was an average experience in terms of the pizza. Will have to try pizza and curry another day in Fremont.

My husband, parents, sister and I came here for Christmas dinner tonight. The pizza was so SO good. The service could have been terrible given how crazy busy it was but everyone was so friendly and constantly smiling. I’m totally blown away that a pizza place this delicious exists in Fremont and has Indian recipes. My husband and I loved it so much that we felt compelled to leave this review, and we can’t wait to come back and try some more of their pizzas. PS — we ordered a curry vegetarian pizza and a regular pizza with green chiles, green peppers, red onions and cilantro. Both were absolutely delicious. Perfect amounts of cheese, sauce and veggies so that no bite was overwhelmingly one flavor.

Bombay Pizza House is pretty much … da Bomb… This is a great little fusion concept if you like Indian food and you like pizza. They have your traditional Italian style pizzas with Italian meats, sauces, and cheeses, however I don’t think you go to a place named Bombay Pizza House for these types of items. This visit I had a large pizza, half chicken tikka masala and half tandoor chicken. The tandoori chicken side was a bit more mild so if spiciness isn’t your thing, go that route. It is tandoori chicken, a white sauce, cheese and some vegetables. For a little extra kick, the tikka masala side definitely had a bit more punch to it with a curry sauce as the base. Also had an order of Anchari chicken wings which were good as well. They had some spices and fennel rubbed on and then fried. They were delicious!!! It isn’t fancy, but if you want something delicious and unique, give it a shot!

So a couple Unilocal reviews up, I had lunch at Indian Street Café in Sunnyvale(near my work) and loved it. Somehow, after I got home, I still managed to keep the Indian party going. I drive past this place every day when I’m taking my kid to school, and last night neither my husband nor I were in the mood to cook so we looked up local spots that delivered. Bombay Pizza House was one of them! We ordered: — tandoori wings — half and half pizza(half chicken tikka, half curry chicken masala — note: they only do half and half for Large and X-Large pizzas) — mango lassi It’s legit! Although I was wondering why they didn’t just have chicken tikka masala pizza(which I’ve had at other places, and is generally really bomb). I feel like if they ever made it a special, I’d order it for sure. Great service and a wonderful mix of flavors. I will order from them again.

I live walking distance from this pizza house and it is the perfect place for a Sunday hangover lunch/brunch. I usually end up ordering the desi pizza. My favorite is chili paneer, although shahi paneer comes in a close second. I was recently brave enough to try the alu chaat which was surprisingly good. I would order it without onions the next time. Flavors are definitely there and some of the dishes can be spicy. I order online and the pizza is usually ready in 20 minutes.

I like Indian food… I like pizza… combine them and how could I NOT like it?! I’ve had this place bookmarked for quite some time since the whole concept of Indian pizza intrigued me. When me and my friend were in the area, we decided to try it out. We ordered the tandoori wings, a large pizza with half chicken tikka and half shahi paneer. GETTHETANDOORIWINGS. These were soo flavorful and delicious. They come out piping hot, and it was hard to wait for them to cool down because they tasted so good! They’re a bit on the spicy side, and go well with the side of ranch. The pizza came out with abundant toppings! It was seriously covered! The shahi paneer was good. Lots of paneer and veggies. The chicken tikka was the better one out of the two, it tasted lighter yet had more depth. But both were good choices and I’m glad we did half and half so we could have different flavors going on. Also tried a sip of the mango lassi and it was tasty! Prices were decent and service was friendly! Would definitely come back and get the wings as well as try the other pizzas!

Bombay Pizza House is an ok place for pizza — not bad but not particularly amazing either. In fact I would say that their pizza is on the level of Pizza Hut, Dominos, or any other pizza franchise. I ordered the ultimate veggie pizza, which is your run of the mill veggie pizza. I did want to order one of the Indian flavored pizzas, but due to my many allergies, I didn’t find this to be possible because the staff and even the manager weren’t too sure of the ingredients of the pizzas. I took a star off for this, because restaurants should know exactly what ingredients they use in their food since customers with allergies(like myself) do exist and should be catered to in order to prevent serious illness from consuming their food. The other thing that can be improved on is the service time: we were given our pizza half an hour to almost an hour after we ordered.

Once again, thanks so much Unilocal!!!I wouldn’t have found this place if not for Unilocal. We placed an order for pickup — the much raved Tandoori Wings and a small 10″ Chicken Tikka Pizza. The tandoori wings were hot, hot, just the way I love it and the ranch dipping was perfect for those wings. And the pizza — delicious. The crust was soft in the inside and crunchy at the edges. Toppings are generous. I’ll definitely return to try their other desi pizzas.

Back home on the East Coast, I once had a tikka masala pizza and I loved it. It was totally a different take on what pizza was and what it could be. So you could imagine how excited I was when I came across Bombay Pizza House. We ordered an extra large pie — half chicken tikka and half tandoori chicken. The slices were cut thin, this wasn’t an 8 slice pie… it was a 16 slice pie! It was a good call though, because the toppings were set in pretty deep. It would have been difficult to fold over a normal New York sized slice with the amount of topping here. The wings here were delish too. We had one order of the Achari wings and one order of the Tandoori wings. The Achari wings were more mild and easy to eat, very moist on the inside and not dried out. I favored the Tandoori wings though… they packed a punch of flavor and were similarly juicy and moist on the inside. If these guys moved out East, I’d order from them!

I give 4 stars because everyone else in our group loved everything, I think some of the flavors were just a little strong for me. We got a medium with 2 of the indian flavors chicken tikka and another, they were a great consistency but I found the flavors overwhelming. I wish we’d gotten half indian half pepperoni for my lame taste buds! Service was great, they made recommendations and were able to change the TV to our game!

I have never tried Indian curry on a pizza before but now I’m sold! I got the Chicken Masala pizza(large) and it was about $ 20. I loved all the flavors, and the ingredients really made the pizza look like a work of art! I could taste the curry but not to the point where it was overbearing! It still tasted like a pizza but with the cool unique flavors of Indian curry! I’d say they did a good job with that!
