Me-N-Ed’s Pizzeria

Having grown up in Fresno, I’m no stranger to Me-n-Ed’s. After finding out they had a location in Fremont, We decided to make the 30 minute trek to see if it was as good as we remembered from our time in the central valley.
The location is alright, slightly dingy, but overall clean. The staff was nice, and the pizza itself tasted pretty close to the great pizza we remembered. I especially love the crust that you really can only find and Me-​N-​Eds .
That being said, this place is pretty pricey for pizza. We spent just over $ 40 for 1 large, 1 personal, and 2 small drinks. I’m not sure if it’s franchise or what, but they had post it’s with newer (i’m assuming higher) prices that they used to have on their wall menu, and when we walked in all the lights were off. Halfway through the visit, they did turn the lights on, but it was pretty dim.
Overall if I’m craving Me-N-Ed’s, I’ll just wait a few months until I visit family in the Valley. It’s not worth the drive and expense to eat it in a dim slighty dated pizzaria

i’ve ordered delivery from here three times. i love that i can order personal size for my two girls, and the pizza, OMGEEE! its delishes always on time and warm! i have tried reg pepperoni pizza, italian chicken i believe its called and MY FAVORITE HOT HAWAIIN! Will def keep going back! Thanks!

A good place to hang out with friends. Their pizza is very yummy. I like the garlic chicken and valley veggie with chicken. They delivery time is fast and customer service is very nice.

I drive pretty far just to come here. I’ve had better Me-​N-​Eds, but it’s still pretty good.

Absolutely the worst services. We pre –ordered ahead of time for a chicken bbq chicken which was not on their menu online when reviewing what to order. When we got their the head cashier young lady seemed nice. When the pizza was finally done and served it was very unappetizing seemed liked someone just poured bbq sauce on a regular pizza!!! Like really!!! But the biggest issue was their was ham on the pizza which they never mentioned that came in the ingredients when called on the phone and even on the menu and I we don’t eat ham and cannot eat ham. When we spoke with the young lady she stated she will bring out a new pizza not stating there was a charge and after we sat down she came to us and said the manager said the best we can do is offer 30%. Like how much will it cost you to give me another pizza? Even tipped you well for the «service». This is my last time I will ever come here and I am forsure upset at my girlfriend for bringing me to this shit hole of a place. Take care of your customers especially because you don’t know how far they have traveled just to grab something to eat. We left and made them throw away the pizza. Reconstruct your menu learn a thing or two from Round Table.

Delivery, had a basic pepperoni, it was meh. Not the best pizza I’ve had, but baked nice and crispy. However, the antipasto salad was excellent.

Ordered from here tonight.
I was worried about ordering pizza from an unknown place to me, but I am so glad I did.
I have not had a good tasting Pizza like this in ages.
Moving here from Ohio in April, 2015 we are still finding gems like this.
This pizza is much better quality and tasting than Pizza Hut & Dominoes.

Pizza was really good. It just seems a little different from what I remember from my childhood. The place was empty on Monday night during the football game. Think they are missing an opportunity.

Bad customer service! I ordered my pizza and asked for delivery and they said I can’t have delivery and use the coupon so u have to come in to pick it up to use it so I went to use the coupon they offer for 20% off and I went to go pick it up and not have it delivers the Chinese manager tells me I can’t use it because I orderd a pizza that was on special for the day. Mother fucker u didn’t tell me on the phone when I said I had it!!! Didn’t want to pimp slap him cause I had hungry people at home. But will be last time I go there and I did come here all the time! My friends and family will not e coming either! And for sure they will lose out on atleast 400 – 500 $ a month from all the people I know who go here! back to the best ROUND TABLE!!!

This place is awesome. Great pizza and delivery before time. Pizza is nice and hot. I love the valley veggie with the white sauce.

A taste of home, here in the bay!

I am VERY disappointed and now sick because of the UNDERCOOKED pizza my fiancé and I received. Last night we called in to place an order and a lady name «Karen answers» very rude therefore we went in instead. When we asked who Karen was the ONLY woman working said «there is no Karen I don’t know where you got that name from.» And asks her co workers who is Karen. When I proceeded to ask who answers the calls for take out and she replied with a lot of hesitation «me, him *while pointing to another man* all of us» we place our order and on the receipt my boyfriend stated «provide Better customer service» we left and came back for our pizza. Not only did the woman working roll her eyes at my fiancé every time he spoke, there was an Asian man giving us dirty looks from the back and another man in the back sweeping who stopped what he was doing to give us dirty looks as we walked out. WE SHOULD OF CHECKED OUR PIZZA. Besides skimping us on bacon and pepperoni on one side of the pizza they undercooked it so bad NO ONE COULD GET THROUGH A SINGLE SLICE WITHOUT FEELING SICK. I never spit out anything so quick. We were horrified. Here I am the next day with stomach pains and Nausea. We have been going here our whole lives and never had this happen before. I am very upset. I can’t believe they would do this to someone!!! AND TO TOP IT OFF. We told the lady NO GARLIC on the side with white sauce (I’m allergic) and THEY PUT GARLIC ON THE WHOLE THING!!!

Does anyone at this location read the reviews? I think they could really benefit from their customers comments.
I haven’t personally had a bad experience yet but hearing what other people say, I think they could use the advice on improving their quality of food and customer service.
Just a thought.

I have been hearing for years that this place has amazing calzones… well, I should have ordered a calzone, cause pizza was below par.
I did an online order last night for a large pepperoni with extra sauce, delivery within 45min. Not only did my pizza show up an hour later, but there was no extra meat and basically no sauce at all.
Now, if you have read any of my previous reviews on pizza spots, I usually gripe about the amount of sauce on my pizza. I like to be able to taste the sauce, not have it oozing out, but enough to really taste it. On this pizza that was delivered to my door last night, there was really no sauce at all. I even tore up the cheese pepperoni layer and the dough beneath was dry as a bone!
The one plus I can say about this pizza is the crust, it was very crispy on the bottom, which is a great thing in my book if you enjoy thin crispy crust.
However, it does not make good second day leftovers. bummer…
I’ll give it another go in the future, but I will probably call in my over to reconfirm that my pizza will be getting the extras that I paid for.

I have been a customer of the Fremont location. Nothing that I would write home to momma about!
To cut to the chase, I called them about a pizza delivery job, when I asked about compensation. a male with a broken English accent told me «I ask too many questions» My reply was «screw you and your pizza». I must say an elderly man like myself should not talk that way, but I really don’ t regret it. Kind of just slipped out! Complained to corporate, but never got a reply back. You make the choice whether you want that type of attitude making your pizza?

Used to be better.
I’ve been ordering delivery from Me-N-Ed’s for years. The last few times have been horrible. The pizzas are extremely soggy once arrived. It’s as if the pizza was boiled in water. I’m curious if this is because of the lack of ventilation of their pizza boxes? I’m not sure… and at this point, I don’t care. I’m tired of super soggy pizza. I don’t plan on ordering from here again :(

Someone else called in an order and I went to pick it up.
«I’m here to pick up»
«What did you order?»
«I don’t know, I didn’t order I’m just here to pick it up.»
And then they just look at me clueless for a few seconds.
I still think the first interaction one has or a first impression is important.
Keep the smart people who can handle themselves and deal with the public up front. Keep everyone else feeling important in the back.
The pizza and wings are great. Keep it simple and keep it real. This place has got a classic vibe with a refinished strip mall location. We got 2 pizzas, one was perfect, the other was overcooked. The wings are cheap and tiny. The garlic bread is great.
One thing I noticed is that it was in need of a cleaning. The floors were all filthy. Not just like a busy day dirty but more like they haven’t been cleaned that well in a while.

I called in to order at 640 and they said it would be done in 20 minutes. When I got inside the lady at the counter said we would have to wait because the pizza was made wrong… Really? It’s not that difficult to put a pizza together. I had to wait until 740! Just to get my medium pizza. Ridiculous.

Once again, im back here. I dont remember how many times have i been here, too many to count. I dont care how many time i have been in here as long as they have the Hot Hawaiiannn… it is a bomb for me. My gf loved it last time so i gotta bring her back today.

ZERO STARS, FOR ZERO CUSTOMER SERVICE RESULTING IN ZERO PIZZA!
I’ve been a long time customer of ~10years.
Order the hot Hawaiian for me, and whatever else the family wants. Always been good service and quality… until today.
So to begin things, I receive these coupon/​flyers at my house every 2 – 3 weeks. Just tried to use a «coupon» for a large specialty, advertised on coupon, and they tell me there’s no such deal… coupon must’ve been expired. I look down, there’s no expiration date. At best, it says limited time only, but clearly has no expiration. So I decide to get the «wings deal», questioned me like I was making stuff up. I had to tell her the advertised deal. Once again I was told, «it’s expired.» If this is their chump way of deciding when the deals expire at their discretion… then I’m throwing in the towel and I’m done with them. I expected so much, and received so little. must say, they’ve really screwed this one up… I doubt I’ll ever return.
