A wonderful stopping spot for brunch! Was crowded on for Sunday brunch but there was plenty of room at the bar. An order of chipped beef over a biscuit with two eggs. Way too much food but the could expected in a Greek restaurant. Good service and a fair price.

Stopped for dinner while on a long drive and wanted something that wouldn’t take too long. Service was fine, and not slow, but the food was just ok. Wife had to ask for new fries because they were cold. Chicken parm was a bit bland, but edible. Kids had the chicken nuggets and popcorn shrimp, and both were OK.

We randomly found this place on Unilocal and decided to give it a try for breakfast on a Sunday. It was totally worth it. The staff was great and the food was even better. There was a grand selection of breakfast options. Plus they are extremely patriotic, which is always a good thing!

I am giving this 4 stars mostly because my 81 year old mother adores this place and when I visit her, 9 times out of 10, this is where she wants to go. I admit I love their Reuben sandwiches and I’m hooked on them. Tea is great, and they have lots of other good food. And the desserts! Pricey, but huge portions and delicious.

The menu was wayyyyy overwhelming. They have decent food, but they don’t specialize in anything. I mean omelets, gyros, pastries, club sandwiches and pasta’s… These are all great items but don’t belong on the same menu.

This place was good. They would have received a 5 on Mother’s Day but they stopped serving breakfast at Noon when the menu says until 3! All in all, good lil diner! We will be back!

Greta Breakfast with fast and polite service. We have been about three times now and every time the breakfast is perfect. I really want to come try dinner because my friends tell me that their roast beef open sandwiches is out of this world. I think the only reason I do not give 5 stars is the price. If I took the family there and we all had a breakfast with drinks the bill would come to $ 50 little steep, for a Saturday breakfast but well worth it.

The atmosphere was upscale as compared to the name diner. Very clean. I had the gyro plate. I didn’t care for the fries, but, then, I’m more of a traditionalist. The feta was imported from Greece. …nice texture. The plate could have been elevated by homemade pita. Very good éclair. Good portions for the price. My husband had a better than average chicken parmesan. Waitstaff very pleasant and engaging. Over a nice experience.

Adorable diner. Friendly, attentive and helpful staff. Service was wonderful with that southern hospitality charm. We were offered a Sweet Tea or a Coke as we were seated. Food leaned towards the Greek side which made my wife very happy. She had the Gyro wth Greek salad and I had the Grilled Chicken Panini with onion rings. They also serve breakfast until 3pm. We both enjoyed the food and highly recommend trying this wonderful local restaurant on Rte 17 just off I95

It’s an automatic stop for me on the RVA/DC drive now. Breakfast is excellent, the lasagna is great, prices are really good, and the service is superb.

This has become our new home for Sunday mornings family time!!! Love everything about this place… the service. the food… the décor, so so homie!!! Our kids can be kinda picky and they haven’t had a thing they don’t love. They always go for the crab Benedict… which hello…10 and 11 year old! My husband loves their scrapple and I always go for the French toast! Thanks for always keeping it fast and hot and YUMMY!!!

Really good. Not really a traditional diner but the food is good and vegetable sides are great. Everything reminds me of homemade. I have had the stuffed pepper more than once. Good service. Greek entrée options are worth it!

Very good service. Had the falafel burger which was tasty, but a little undercooked — most likely because it was shaped like a hamburger patty. It will reheat nicely though. Toppings were fresh and generous. Not sure about the pretzel bun though. Think I’ll stick to traditional falafel from now on. Dolmas were very good.

Excellent breakfast. Everything is made fresh, you can tell that the quality of their food is a priority. I highly recommend the crabs cake Benedict. Crab cakes were hand made fresh patties, definetly not the frozen mess that some places try to pass off.

Road trip, road stop. In the mood for a hardy breakfast; weeded through the many fast food offerings in the area of Fredricksburg, VA. Settled on the Paradise Diner based on the Unilocal reviews and my many past experiences with Greek diners(mostly good) in the USA. Friendly greeting when I walked in and got a brief history lesson from waitress Robin about this new diner. What can I say, I like history :-) Many of the standard selections one expects from a diner menu; waitress Robin suggested that the sausage gravy and chipped beef were favorites. People drive from afar to get their fix. I opted for chicken fried steak, with potatoes and choice of gravy. I asked for both(for sampling purposes of course :-) and was happily obliged, and was allowed to substitute a biscuit(I’m told they are handmade) for toast. Wow, food just arrived while typing last paragraph. I’m going to pause while I eat… Yes! Food was fresh and delicious. Portion was good size and yes, the gravy was finger licking good. And the biscuit was obviously fresh made; flavor and texture were perfect and steamy hot when I cut into it. The chicken fried steak, eggs and«home fries»(fried sliced potatoes with bits of green pepper and onions) were average; taken altogether an enjoyable, hardy breakfast, which is just what I wanted. On a scale of 1 – 5(3 being average) this place is a solid 4, but I’ll give it 5 for the exceptional service. Thank you Robin. P. S. Parking lot and diner filling up; I lucked out with my timing.

Visiting family in Stafford, my mother-in-law told us she wanted to eat at this new Greek restaurant she had tried and liked, so hubby and I took her there for lunch. It was very crowded, but we didn’t have to wait for a table. Our server, Sandy, greeted us promptly and was attentive and friendly throughout the meal. We ordered the calamari as an appetizer, which arrived quickly, but was mediocre with way too much breading, and not enough flavor. MIL had the Greek salad, which was huge, and came with wedges of pita bread, lots of feta, olives, onions, tomatoes and cukes. Her only complaint was that there was not meat in the salad. Hubby had the chicken souvlaka plate, which he said was really good. I had the lamb shish kabob, and it was a bit disappointing. The sauce didn’t have much flavor, and the lamb was overcooked and dry. I got the French onion soup to go with my meal, instead of the side salad, and I wish I’d gone with the salad. The soup was just okay.

We were pretty bummed when Jimmy the Greek’s on 610 closed, but happy to see this open closer to our house! It is pretty much the same menu, because I believe it has been opened by his son. Our first impression was the reserved parking for combat wounded veterans(see my photo). Awesome. Inside is also very«veteran friendly», so this was the first point in their favor. All the waitresses we encountered were super friendly and very efficient. My wife and I shared the stuffed mushroom for a starter and it was really good. I had the stuffed pepper for my main course; it was fantastic. My wife had the Moussaka. While it wasn’t the best moussaka she’d ever had(to be fair, we’ve been to Greece!), it was delicious. Everything was perfectly seasoned, and even the fries were crispy and hot. It was a Friday evening and fairly crowded. We were happy to see that. This place is fantastic, and we are thrilled to have good Greek food so close to us.
