Restaurant is very clean and inviting. However would not recommend for vegetarians– very limited selection of items with no meat. There is a Margarita Pizza, spaghetti, and side salads… everything else would have to have the meat taken off. New menu has limited selections not too impressed.

My hubby and I went for an early Valentine’s Day lunch. The service was great, fast, and the food was delicious! The portions were large, prices very reasonable and the food was extremely fresh. We will definitely go back soon!

Went there today with my mum(Monday). They had a special so that we got a small appetizer, side salad(or soup), and an entrée for just 12.99. It was delicious and well I couldn’t have made it at home for that money. Service was excellent.

It’s funny that I’ve never written a review on Carrabba’s, but the addition of Cioppino to the menu has changed that. A very good rendition of one of my favorite dishes has now appeared on the scene. The warm spicy broth was rich and tasty. The baby scallops, shrimp, fish, clams, and mussels were all cooked exactly right. Served with crusty bread, this was a great dish for a chilly autumn day! Among my other favorites here… Calamari and anything O’Bryan. Thanks Carrabba’s! Yes… Even chains can serve good food.

Had dinner here today. Had a coupon for free appetizer so had the fried calamari which was a bit over cooked. Have had it here before and it was perfect so don’t know what was up with that. Service was very good as always. Choice of soup or salad came with dinner. My wife had Italian chicken soup which she said was very good and nicely spiced. I had the sausage lentil soup which was very good also and a nice bit of spice to it. I had Veal Marsala with garlic mashed potatoes. It was good. Wife had shrimp and sea scallops which she said were cooked perfectly. Slight issue when came to pay the bill when waitress came over and told us the manager said our coupon must be expired. He hadn’t even come over to look at it. Showed it with the email again to the waitress and she went back to the manager and all was well.

Usually love some Carrabas, but tonight they were short staffed. Calamari was yummy, but we felt the regular size plate was actually a small. The chocolate cake was delicious as always, but we felt the in house made custard tasted like yogurt. Had the steak and lobster ravioli. Nothing to brag about. Our waitress was great though. Ask for Jessica C. Always a pleasure!

Excellent. The food was good. Tried the two summer sangrias with my boyfriend along with the house sangria. Good atmosphere. Our waitress was awesome. Would definitely come here again.

5/2/2015.ATE at the bar w wife and had a fantastic meal with great service… We had two beers and two wines each for Happy Hour. I was in love with the mussels and they were ½ off and beautifu… We shared them along with ½ off arancini and they were also over the top… We were full so we decided to share the pork chop marsala with an extra chop for only $ 21.99 with a bowl of Sicilian chicken soup loaded with chicken… and a lot of string beans… It was a perfect meal for us and the whole bill was only $ 53.71with tax and drinks galore

Had a great time at the bar having lunch with Alexa. She was a super friendly & attentive bartender. My husband had the Chicken Alfredo, we shared a Caprese salad & both were delicious. The wine was good!

Our waitress — a recent JMU grad & new Mom, sang in chorus in high school(sorry, remember everything but her name) — was by far the best waitress we’ve had in any establishment in years! She truly went above and beyond in everything she did. Very, very personable, courteous, hard-working. Always had a smile on her face and consistently checked on our welfare while we were dining. Meal was exceptional too — but not as exceptional as this young lady. Promote her and give her a raise — immediately. She’s what every young person SHOULDBE — hard working, courteous, a darn good head on her shoulders. She was obviously brought up right. Well done young lady! Also — the gentleman who stopped by and asked how everything was — nice touch. We really enjoyed ourselves that evening. Will be back. Keep up the good work… and hire more like her!

But like this restaurant Fredericksburg and location lack in compare to Centreville. The service was poor, food wasn’t cooked right. I’ll return to the one in Fairfax County. Fredericksburg I would give a one star but Centreville a 4 or 5 star.

After a couple of sub-par experiences at this Carrabba’s a year or two ago, we decided to drop it from our regular rotation. Service used to be slow, and the food wasn’t great. Pretty typical chain-restaurant experience. Last night we decided to give it another shot, thinking that maybe they’ve turned things around since then. I’d say, yes, they definitely have. It was«Amore Monday,» which means they were offering 3-course meals ranging from $ 12-$ 18. Plus it was Happy Hour, so a glass-and-a-half of wine for the price of one. Our server, Jessica, was very friendly and quite helpful explaining the specials and answering any questions we had about the food. My dining companion started with the Meatball & Ricotta Flatbread, and I had the Calamari. Both were delicious. The house salads came afterwards, and they were crisp and refreshing, just as they should be. Maybe could have used a couple more olives on the plate, but that’s being nit-picky. My date had the Shrimp and Scallop Linguine Alla Vodka($ 15), and I went with the Spiedino Di Mare($ 18) with a side of Garlic Mashed Potatoes. My dish was excellent; well-seasoned and perfectly cooked. My date felt that her linguine was slightly overdone, and the vodka sauce was a little runnier than she felt it could have been, but really nothing major enough to complain about. The flavors were on point, which is the important part. Our server Jessica came around plenty to check in on us, and the manager even made her way around the dining room. Overall — a very good experience, great service, and Carrabba’s has earned its spot back in our regular rotation.

Nice little lunch date with hubby. Fettuccine was a little overcooked, lasagna was good. Had Dessert Rosa — totally awesomely delicious!

Meh… Sat at the bar. Bartender seemed cool. Food was so so. Again it wasn’t bad just not as good as it normally is. I dunno… Maybe it was because I sat at the bar.

The food was good but took forever to get to our table. We had a huge party and took 3 hours to complete our meal from the time we sat to the time we left. The servers were nice and they did run around for us as we asked for more drinks and bread. I got to watch the Nats play on the TV so i cant complain about not having anything to do for the 3 hours. I will be back but with a smaller group.

Wonderful service, yummy food, nice atmosphere, happy hour deals are great! The fontina appetizer was delicious, sangria was fantastic, and our waitress was very friendly, attentive and fun. We’ve been to other Carraba’s before and we’ve yet to be disappointed!

This used to be a place we would frequent as a treat… a couple of times we went and our food just seemed to be off A LOT… Calamari dish was over cooked and way too salty… My pasta dish was just blah… can’t even remember what dish it was… Hubby usually gets the veal dish but even that has changed, I guess it really depends on who is cooking it… not sure if I would want to go back for food but dessert’s yes… crème brûlée and john cole is yummy… Atmosphere is cozy, sometimes too noisy… the service is usually pretty good.

I’m a fan of Carraba’s … but this one? Sub par. A good point of comparison is when one orders — as I do — the same thing at every Carraba’s I go to: house salad, chicken marsala with extra mushrooms, angel hair pasta with garlic and olive oil. The salad dressing was ‘wet’ for lack of better description. No flavor. Conversely, the chicken was exceedingly dry(as was my husband’s, who ordered the same thing.) Hardly any mushrooms, and the ramekin they brought when reminded, certainly didn’t constitute extra ‘shrooms. My pasta is perfectly prepared at other Carraba’s, but here? Gummy. I don’t know if the kitchen was harried the evening before Mothers Day, on what appeared to be prom night — but all in all, it was a mediocre evening out for us.
