Great veggie tamales, which are hard to find. Best salsa, very fresh. Jumbo margarita will have you feeling right. Good service if you’re dining in but if you get takeout just make sure to check your bag and make sure everything is right. Have had issues twice with takeout orders.

If I could give them zero stars I would. The salsa had no flavor, the«margarita» was basically all mix with basically no tequila. I got the chimichangas and the chicken was dry and smelt funny. My boyfriend got the fajita quesadillas and they were stuffed with too much cheese to be enjoyable and made all the veggies slimy. Their«fried ice cream» is ice cream rolled in corn flakes topped with a ton of whip cream so that you can’t see it and is most definitely not fried. I showed our waiter the coupon on Unilocal for our free«fried» ice cream and he took my phone back into the kitchen with him for over 5 minutes rather than getting a manager to Coke to our table and we were the only people in the restaurant. When he brought my phone back it was on a completely different page. Not impressed, would not recommend, will not be going back

Again, new to the Stafford & Fredericksburg area. Awesome food, hot and normal serving size plates. Not huge or tiny. Just right. Will definitely be coming back for more. My boys loved the grilled chicken, tamale, the hubby got the huesos rancheros, and I really enjoyed the chicken fajitas. All from the lunch special menu.

I was looking for a quick good lunch in the middle of my Christmas shopping. I was in Central Park and certainly had plenty of choices. I ruled out a couple of places because they were packed and had lines out the door. So why did I pick a place that had no line and was virtually empty? I don’t know, but it’s no wonder no one was there. The hostess didn’t appear for at least a couple of minutes. It was so empty I started peeking around figuring it was seat yourself. But no. So then when seated it was several minutes before I was even acknowledged even though one of the few occupied tables was right beside me. When do you ever go to a Mexican restaurant when you don’t have chips and salsa and a drink within 1 minute? Chips came. Bland. Water came a couple minutes after the chips. Note that two people who were seated behind me got instant service. Why didn’t I get up and leave??? Ordered lunch from the lunch specials menu. Lunch fajitas $ 8.95. I’ve had fajitas countless times. Bring on the hot sizzling plate of veggies and chicken. There’s a pleasant embarrassment when you hear your meal arriving because it’s so loud, but you know it’s going to be so good. Well, not so. What arrives is a platter with three-fourths of the plate loaded with refried beans and rice and a child’s portion of?? fajita? fixins. Not to appear like I hadn’t eaten in days I stared at the plate like what in the world is this? I ate the little bit of chicken and peppers and couldn’t get the bill fast enough. When asked how everything was, I said I was very disappointed. She looks surprised and takes my plate to the back. Out comes the manager and told him exactly what I’ve stated here. Now of course other staff are staring. I pay my bill and am sent out the door with a May God Bless. My strong advice is don’t eat here. Especially with so many other restaurant options all within walking distance of this one.

Great service, great food. Fajitas and tbone were exceptional. They also have a great military discount. Salsa could be more spicy for my taste, but that is just my preference.

This place is my favorite. I’ve spent years in California and no other place can top the salsa. I don’t think I’ve ever had a bad meal or experience. My favorite waiter is Eliseo. I haven’t seen him in a while, but I love getting sat in his section!

Disappointing. Service was average to poor and the food was dreadful. I wouldn’t tell anyone to eat here.

I was highly disappointed in my visit to pancho villa in Central Park. The restaurant was empty and it took 15 mins for someone to come to my table to greet me. I ordered a chicken chimichanga and it had a chicken bone in it. I asked for a side of cheese sauce and the waiters brought a an appetizer side of cheese sauce and wanted to charge me 5 for it. My waitress never came to refill my drink or ask was everything ok. I had to just give her my card to charge before seeing the bill in order to leave. Mind you my bill was incorrect. It was a horrible experience and I’ll will not be back again.

Its just plain gross. First and last time at Pancho Villa. I would have given zero stars if I could.

The taco was good. Chips were greasy, left my hand all oily. The refried beans were as bland as I’ve ever had. But the worst was a non-alcoholic piña colada that cost 7.50. Too much money, especially as it was not made as described on the menu. The service was ok, but not worthy of a big tip. All in all, a mediocre experience.

While visiting some friends in Fredericksburg recently, we went out to eat at Pancho Villa and my wife and I really enjoyed our meals. The restaurant was very clean and the food was delicious. The service was top notch and we received our food almost immediately after ordering it. We went on a Friday night and there was a huge crowd. We had to wait a bit for a table, but it was definitely worth it. The next time we are up that way, we will be sure to stop in.

The building is fairly run down looking and at first glance, we didn’t think it was even open. Once you get in, it gets little bit better. Our unenthused waiter showed up to take our order promptly. We ordered a couple of lunch specials which were nothing to write home about. The ground beef almost taste like it comes from a can and the taco shells were definitely out of a box. The kind of taco shell that bends instead of crunches when you bite into it! Lackluster food. Shocked it’s lasted so long!

Our food was out fast & was very good. Our waitress was on point & the whole staff was great. I had the enchiladas & she had chimichangas– it was all good. The mex– fried ice cream was awesome. We will be dining with them again & the Unilocal coupon made it even better

Great restaurant for«budget» Mexican. A great place to take the family, and to enjoy everything from«fried ice cream» to tacos. I highly recommend the tableside guacamole. A great side that goes with everything from the nachos to the main course.

This Restaurant was excellent. It was very clean and the service was on point. Gustavo the manager made us feel right at home and his workers were very attentive. I love it and will return next time I am in Virginia!

I ate out at Pancho Villa a couple of weekends ago when I was in Fredericksburg for a conference. Like most small Southern cities, Fredericksburg offers few affordable dining options that aren’t fast food chains. Pancho Villa is pretty standard Americanized Mexican fare, but the food was well-prepared and fresh. I had a platter that included skirt steak and stuffed shrimp, which was very good. Next time I am in Fredericksburg, I will definitely check out Pancho Villa again.

This is by far the worst restaurant I’ve been to in several years. That being said, here’s my take on Pancho Villa’s: Service– absolutely horrible, the waiters I’ve had messed up our orders and forgot about us. For example: My friend waited twenty minutes for a drink refill after we waived the waiter down and specifically asked him for the refill. We ordered directly from the menu with no special requests and we had to ask for the rest of our orders. For example: I ordered fajitas and had to ask for tortillas which I ended up waiting on for so long that my food became cold. Last night we had three different waiters and all three of them couldn’t get it right. I watched as three different couples came in and waited to be served only to get frustrated and leave. Food– I’m from Texas so I may have higher standards for Mexican food than most, but this place didn’t even come close. The fajitas, beans, enchiladas, red sauce etc. was all bland and I was less than impressed. It appeared as though someone in the kitchen simply took a tv dinner and dumped it on my plate. I gave this place one star because that was the lowest I could go, but if there were a way to give a star minus I would. If the owners are trying to prevent repeat customers they are doing a phenomenal job. Save your money, go to Taco Bell.

Food was very tasty and the service was great! I had enchiladas(veggies) I had to modify my dish. The queso was a little thin in my opinion but it was good. I would definitely go back. The rice was perfect too it wasn’t too spicy. The prices are bit pricey for the atmosphere and the food in general but the flavor was the offset.

Actually not a big fan of Mexican food… But this place changed my taste buds … They have free chips and salsa dip. it was pretty yummy… So I asked for more and they didn’t charge extra! Great! Ordered a giant spicy burrito loaded with beef.rice.beans.and sides of veggies… I like spicy food… this place offer spiciness and lots of flavor… Im also a HUGE fan of jalapeños, and hot hot sauce!!! There Mexican food fills you up… Big portion… had to take my left overs to go… the food was colorfully and pretty and there aren’t any weird types of ingredients… Its simply and flavorfully to me… There’s outdoor and indoor seatings… the atmosphere is pretty nice… Cute western décor with a Mexican feel to it… Yes there is parking!
