The service was fast and friendly. And the food was fresh good and hot. I’m satisfied. Will come again

Food was horrible tonight! I haven’t had a bad meal there before but I will be staying away awhile hopefully they will get a new cook! Country fried steak was dry and the gravy couldn’t even cover that up. Eggs were barely cooked so at least I had slimy eggs to spread around. Crapes had chunks of cheese in them and the pancakes tasted like cardboard with syrup!

LOVE THIS IHOP!!! Food has always been great and there is this one server (wish i could remember his name) that’s the nicest guy ever! He’s really fun too. My sister Tori and i usually go late at night and we always feel welcomed.

International House of Pancakes. A delightful name, but a less than delightful experience. I ordered an omelette with a side of scrambled and my server gave me a dirty look. How dare he! I love eggs. I cannot live without them. I have eggs inside of my body at all times. (Not in my ovaries — I mean, in my stomach.) I ordered some pancakes for my little baby girl Almond and was disappointed to see that the maple syrup was in fact artificial. This did not come from trees, you International House of Lies!!! Almond has a soy gluten potassium allergy so she cannot partake in non-​tree syrup! Despicable!

Jenny, at that price level you can’t expect real maple syrup, especially at a chain restaurant.
I don’t eat pancakes any more but if I did, I would bring in my own private stash of real maple syrup. I’m a native New Englander!

Service was great but the meal was not so great had the chicken dinner with a water, the water tasted like dish water, the meal was good the corn and mashed potatoes were excellent but the chicken was NASTY dry over cooked almost like they were left over and reheated I WILL NEVER EAT AT I-​HPO AGAIN.

I have been to this location a couple of times… but I think this will be my last. It seems the staff is just not observant about their guests. I have had to wait before to be seated and served. Last night, I came in with my wife for a quick dessert while we were waiting to pick up our kids from an event. Long story short, we got seated in about a minute, even though there was not a lot of people in the restaurant to begin with. Second, we never got a follow up: no server. There were servers walking around, but after close to 10 minutes… with me walking around to find someone… we got up and left the restaurant. It was amazing to watch a place like IHOP ignore a customer when they were not even busy! It was a joke. This place has problems, because it has happened more than once.

Came here for breakfast on a Saturday morning with my son and boyfriend. We were seated immediately. Our server Juan was very attentive and got our entire meal correct which is usually rare in places like these! The food was great and came out SO fast! I didn’t even have time to be starving like usual. Very pleased with the service and atmosphere. Keep it up!

I feel this IHOP is the same as every other oops. Nothing change. Love their famous pancakes. It’s always pack and loud.

I-​Hop is just that I hop. The food was good, service was good. I wish I could remember our servers name, she was okay nothing fancy stood out about her. I got chicken fingers and fries, and the BF got a spicy chicken sandwich which he enjoyed. We will keep coming back to this location because it is closer to home.

Can I give NO F*cking stars please? Worst service ever. I came in at 11:30pm on Sunday with my boyfriend. Upon arriving, we got seated quickly. While looking at our menus, 10 mins passed by … No server. Nothing. My boyfriend got impatient & got up & walked to the kitchen asking for our drinks. Then I guess our «server» likes to pick and chose her tables (old lady, don’t know her name) loudly talking about picking up her grandson … & adds, «I’m not taking care of that table. Have Juan do it.» Like, what? What was the reason for that? Because she was there serving other tables right? Must be a personal problem. So forget her. Then when Juan comes and gets our drinks we immediately order so we wouldn’t have to waste anymore time. Two more tables come after us. I was into my phone & hadnt realize it’s 12am. And I hear forks and knives on plates. I look around and BOTH tables that came 15 mins after us, were EATING already. I got heated. & loudly said «excuse me. I need someone here right now.» & Juan walked pasted us, along w the older lady. I said «excuse me, I came in here before 2 tables, where’s my food ?» He shrugs & says «that’s the way the food goes.» So I guess the food must go everywhere but not my table. I said «I’ve been here 30 mins and no food & everyone else is eating, are u kidding me?» & he shrugs and walks away. SO F*UCKING RUDE. u don’t need a degree to simply say sorry for f*cking up my order, & u will check on it immediately. But he chose to walk away. & the old lady; not doing a dam thing just sits there running her lips. So I got up & left — believe me, I will be contacting the mangers or corporate letting them know that their staff is terrible. I’ve had Andrew serve me EVERYTIME but now he’s gone. Looks like the place went out the door too. Disappointed since I come in often.

I’ve never written a review about any restaurant before, but I feel like this is completely necessary. The food was great and Samir was an amazing server, but we witnessed one of the workers kill a bug right in front of us! Definitely won’t be coming back to this establishment.

Great experience today. Our server, Yessy, was awesome! Food was great. I have tried many restaurants in Frederick for breakfast and this place is among the best. Keep up the great service!

Good service, clean facilities. I ordered the chorizo omelet and it was delicious.

Mmmmm… pancake. Who doesn’t love pancakes, aside from terrorists? That’s right, Americans, and quite possibly Canadians. A little fuzzy on the French-​Canadians though. And, I’m sure the Mexicans might, though they have their own thing going on for breakfast, but I digress.
With more pancakes than I can count, my last trip this past weekend resulted in eating 11, count hem 11 pancakes, before I had to take a dump, then I managed another five. Hot and all syrupy, My pancakes came out luke warm, and ready for my stomach.
But, wait, there’s more. Not only can you buy pancakes at an IHOP but dinners and lunch foods too. Stop the madness, and put the brakes on the planet, you can get this… order chicken strips, and meatloaf too. Granted, I had the chicken strips last time I was here, they tasted identical to those served at Denny’s. In fact everything here tastes like it was served at Denny’s.
Anycase, the food is lukewarm, and priced a little higher than Denny’s, it’s an ok place to grab a bite. I think, for 15% less, I’ll stick with Denny’s, but if you really want to go cheap, try Waffle House. and, stay away from those pancake hating terrorists.

I ordered one of the new breakfast entrees. My order came back with the wrong type of cheese. The server and manager corrected the error immediately. Very customer focused.

On Jan 11, 2014, at 2:30 AM; I sat at my table for 15 minutes and NOT ONE of I guess 10 people on staff that night came to ask me for my order. This waitress served me iced tea and then never returned.
I asked a server what was going on after 15 minutes, and he ran around like he cared.
After another 5 minutes, I was disgusted enough to leave.
Horrible, horrible, terrible, disgusting service. You guys should be ashamed.
I am never visiting an IHOP again, and will post absolutely bad reviews wherever I can.

This is my first time dining at this IHOP we wanted to go to Cracker Barrel but it was too packed. So we came here it was packed also but the wait was shorter and we got to sit inside while waiting. We only waited 15 minutes on a Sunday at 12pm, that’s the church rush time lol. Anyways our waiter was friendly and prompt. Our food came out quickly only problem was there was a hair in my pancakes. I sent my pancakes back and it took a while for my new pancakes to come out. This incidence killed my experience. The cooks have on hats but not hair nets. And the server didn’t give me any type of discount I could of asked but I shouldn’t have to. Not that i would of took it but the thought would of made me happier. Overall the server was great just not my food!

Just opened up. I have been here twice… both times exceptional service. Standard Ihop pricing… service is really what is nice about this new location. I hope it stays this way! Wait was only 5 – 10 mins. Food came out within 10 mins.

This I-​hop is very reliable! I never have problems there and we always get great service! Friendly and efficient. The food is always quality too.

Accessibility: Buckeystown Pike is really easy to find and this is right off of it. We did not have to wait and plenty of parking.
Atmosphere:Typical IHop. But this place was not crowded like it may normally be at all times. So if you like an IHop this will not let you down.
Customer Service: Our very happy waitress was Meagan. She was very funny and friendly. She brought refills frequently. When she overheard that it was my nephews birthday, she of course then later brought some of the staff to sing the Birthday song and he got a little scoop of Ice Cream and Chocolate syrup. She made the the visit very nice and a little bit extra special.
Food: Well folks, it is an IHop with the IHop menu. So no surprises there. I decided to have a breakfast meal and so did my Husband. I mean how could we come to IHop and not have a breakfast.
I had the «Pick a Pancake» which comes with a choice of pancakes (buttermilk for me) and two eggs (mine were scrambled with cheese), two slices of bacon and hash browns. Everything except the bacon was good. I think for me I would have liked the bacon cooked till it was more crisper. Everyone’s bacon looked a tad undercooked. But other than that, the meal was good as always at an IHop. My nephews loved theirs and for three teenagers, loved it all. My sister and here Husband also enjoyed theirs.
Would we come again? Sure. We have come here several times before and always have had no problems with the service and the meals were always very good. I would recommend coming here if you like IHop!

SAM IS BACK! SAM IS BACK! SAM IS BACK!
I guess you heard SAM IS BACK! The past manager that was sent to Westminster to open up the new store there is back to the Frederick Store. I for one am glad to see him back. This place fell off my radar and I refused to return there because the food quality, service and overall attitude sucked. The Current GM is a not so nice person nor is he in my opinion a very good GM. Sam on the other hand needs to be promoted to GM, and I am here to tell you he will be at the new location on RT26 in Frederick very soon.
While Sam was at the Frederick location the service on his shifts was great, the food was good and the place was well kept. After he went to Westminster MD, the Frederick location fell appart. I visited the Frederick location a few times and I had the opportunity to see the replacement manager for Sam and the GM in action. I can tell you as an Ex-​GM myself these two together could not make a good GM much less hold a candle to Sam. Because of this I and the family would travel to Westminster from Frederick to vist Sam at that IHOP Location. In my opinion it was worth the drive due much in part to Sam.
The Current GM is lazy, inattentive, not Customer Friendly. Sam on the other hand busts his hump to take care of the Customers, discipline the Staff to get it right and is a pleasure to speak with any time.
So my recommendation is call the restaurant and ask if Sam is there. If so then go over and meet him and enjoy your meal.
