Dropped by for lunch one day, on the tail end of the lunch hour — so, lots of parking and my coworker and I were seated immediately. Funny thing too — the restaurant seemed to be like an extension of our work place because most of the other customers were also coworkers in different departments. Anyway — the service was good. They were attentive and friendly. Can’t ask for more. The food wasn’t bad either. I ordered the Seafood Noodle Soup and for a lunch serving, the portion was enough to fill me up. The broth came out hot but not so much that the ingredients were ruined. In fact, the ingredients were all nice, tender and just right. The interior is modern and open. It’s not dark like I tend to see other Thai restaurants. Cash and plastic accepted too.

I came here with my boyfriend thinking that I was going to eat sushi, which I had been craving for a while but was disappointed when the waitress told me they only had Thai food… My boyfriend ordered anyway. I couldn’t decide what to order so the waitress only took his order and left. I thought she’d be back to take my order but she never came back lol which I actually didn’t care because I was planning to drive down the street for some sushi. I only had an appetizer(shrimp tempura) and jasmine tea. Once we left I headed over to a get some sushi. Don’t be fooled by the word sushi in some restaurant names!

The food here was great! The menu book is pretty large, but they have some pretty solid pictures that will help you make a decision. The only knock on this place, which isn’t their fault, is the parking lot. When we came for dinner there were cars lined up looking for parking. I think it is cause of the apartments next door, because the actually stores themselves didn’t seem crowded enough for all of those cars! Will def be coming back!

Let me just say the food at this place is good the service at this place is horrible. It was really just one waitress who was completely ride but as the saying goes, it only takes one bad apple,.I was staying at the Ayres hotel across the street I came to this place 4 days in a row once for lunch and dinner and three times more for dinner the food is good. However the last time I was here the waitress told me she would charge me extra for sriracha $ 0.25 per because I’d ask for too many. I had spent over $ 200 there in 4 days also I also had coconut milk where they give you a coconut with the top cut off and you drink the milk and then scoop out the coconut I asked them to cut the coconut in half each time they did this three times on the 4th time they said they couldn’t do it anymore as it was it was making the knife to dull!!! Wow, maybe they don’t know about knife sharpenersWow! So 4 stars for food, negative 2 stars service= 2 stars.

So I been here few times, and every time we came here for lunch, the wait is quite quite long, it doesn’t matter if you are coming over weekdays or weekend or if they are buzy or they are having light occupancy I believe they trust in keeping the customers on table waiting for food still giving them 2 stars for good food I will keep visiting them as they are one of few places near work and hope they earn back morw stars again

Thai food is a favorite of mine and I’ve been to many Thai restaurants. It’s been over a year since I last was here and it’s still one of my favorite places. So yummy! The green sauce is the BEST!!! No other Thai place has it and I don’t know why others haven’t caught on since it’s that good!!! Highly recommend coming here if you’re into Thai food!

I actually brushed this place off awhile back and kept it that way bc of the previous reviews, friend told me it wasn’t that great, and bc of its retarded name. But my other friend said otherwise and thought hey why not try it out bc it is just around the corner from me. WELLDAMN. My stomach and I couldn’t be more happier! I came here hungry AF level 10 so I forgot and ended up only taking a couple pic :(but life goes on. Let’s talk about the food. Pad Thai– this is such a common popular basic dish but it is indeed delicious! Even tho it’s a basic dish I can’t say all pad Thai are good but this place is no doubt great. It can pretty much pair with any dish. Ordered it spicy and came out mild. But they got the sauces n chiles on deck so no worries! Tom kha gai– tom kha over tom yum for me. Love me some tom kha! It surely was great but wish they’d use the straw mushroom instead of the regular one. That would’ve been perfecto! Combo fried rice– I know it’s just fried rice but just like pad Thai or any other dish I can’t speak for all. Fried rice was a pass in my book. It was flavorful nice and moist. Crispy pork– one of my all time favorites! I’ve actually had better but don’t get me wrong it was bombay! I feel like they should cut the pork into smaller pieces that way it comes out more crispier than dry. Service tonight was below average. I guess this place is usually not busy but it sure was tonight. They were def understaffed bc I saw that the 2 ladies were flying all over the place except to our table. They were inattentive and never came to check on us. But I get it tho and luckily the food made up for it. We wanted to finish our piglet venture with a nice mango sticky rice but they ran out of it :(so for that and the lack of service I’m giving 4 stars. Other than that there is really no complaint! Overall experience was a pleasant surprise! Theres plenty of parking. Food is awesome. Restaurant/table is a decent size. Most importantly, they got the sauces on deck! So glad I decided to try this place out bc I will be back soon! Very soon!

Sketchy on the outside… But awesome on the inside!!! Looked like a hole in the wall on the outside… But very impressive inside. Good service and awesome food. I came with a big group so I got to try several different dishes, from the duck curry and sea bass curry to the Orange chicken and koa soy soup… All of it was amazing! Definitely coming back…

Do not judge this place by it’s location. Thai by Sushi On Fire is one of five restaruants that these folks own and they know what they’re doing. I was staying at one of the close by hotels and found it and the great reviews here and on Trip Advisor. The restaruant is very modern and clean inside with very pleasant staff. I ordered to-go(just because I had some work to do) and sometimes your food from some places is not as good as if you stay in the restarurant. This was not the case. I had the Hot Garlic Edemame… this alone was spectacular. Not just steamed edemame with salt, this was stir fried with garlic… perfectly seasoned and yummy. Next was the Thai Beef salad, a personal favorite. Most places, you get cold beef that’s obviously been cooked beforehand, and the usual salad stuff. This appeared to be freshly grilled flank steak, perfectly cooked with totally fresh salad incrediants and the dressing… I drank the extra they sent with me like a chaser. Magnificent. Last was the Hot Basil Crispy Pork. This is not breaded pork but bite sized pieces that are deep fried and mixed with basil and other veg. The pork was crunchy on the outside and tender on the inside. Very unusual and delicious. I’ll definitely come back on my next trip to SoCal. Hint: Parking can be at a premium here. Look between the AM/PM on the corner and the restaruant… there’s a day care parking area that was wide open because they were closed.

The food here is amazing, especially the crab cheese wontons and the crispy pork pick king. The staff is always very friendly and I’ll definitely be back. PS don’t be deterred by the front, it’s definitely a completely different atmosphere inside that’s much more pleasant

I have been driving by this place for almost a year and finally decided to try it. And have been back three more times within three weeks! Pad Thai, curry appetizer with fried bread and Pad Se Yew(no clue how to spell that) are amazing! The garlic beef with noodles was very different and delicious as well. But it Es a very light flavor compared to most Thai dishes. Never had anything like it. The pineapple fried rice was tasty, but it was my first time having it so I have nothing to compare it to. Cashew beef was ok, not spectacular. We also got one of the yellow currys it was very good but it had bell peppers which I don’t care for. Service is fast and they know the menu well. Can’t wait to go back.

So I came to this Thai restaurant for the 1st time last week and had a great experience in every aspect. Most definitely the 2nd best Pad Thai I’ve had and most definitely one of the best in Southern California. I also ordered the beef with spicy egg plant, which is also outstanding. Everyone I told about this place told me they’re a little pricy. To me, it’s not that bad, especially compared to what you get. The place is clean, the service I had was exceptional and the food was outstanding, so price didn’t really matter at that point. If you haven’t tried it, I highly recommend that you give it a try so you don’t miss out. I personally will definitely come back over and over. The desserts also looks super good, so I will try them next time as well. Quality: 5⁄5 Quantity: 5⁄5 Customer Service: 5⁄5 Price: 4⁄5 Cleanliness:5/5 Atmosphere: 5⁄5

Delicious, well-priced lunch specials. I ordered the medium-spice green curry with chicken. For $ 7.99, you get a small salad, veggie egg roll, green curry, and rice. The curry was creamy, fragrant, and perfectly spiced. In it were bamboo shoots, crunchy fresh green beans, basil, and sliced chicken. Be careful with the green chili that deceptively looks like a green bean! I drizzled the entire bowl all over my rice and quickly devoured my entire lunch.MmmM. There are a lot of other lunch specials for $ 7.99 if the protein of your choice is chicken, pork, beef, or tofu. You can upgrade to shrimp for $ 9.99. Polite service and pleasantly clean and modern interior(despite the creepy strip mall vibe outside). I will definitely be back!

I try to go here at least once a month! So delicious!!! Pretty much every thing is good! No other place beats their pad thai, it is a must have! I’ve tried thai food from multiple places and I have to say, this place is the best food I’ve ever had! I’m currently have a list of all the items I want to try and I’m only half way to the end. So far, everything I’ve tried is delicious! But understand that everyone has their own taste preferences, for example, although I really liked their orange chicken and pad thai, my mom thought it was«okay» and«not that good,» which I was shocked to hear. The atmosphere is casual. They make the place look fancy, but in the end it really is just a family restaurant, where you can come in last minute. Service is normal to excellent. The waitresses are working hard. So far, I haven’t really received any bad service. Pricing is okay. It’s about $ 10 for curry + $ 1(?) for rice. Everything else is around $ 13/plate. And generally, a plate can fill 2 people. Their thai tea is pretty good deal to go! I’ve noticed they change up the sizes over time, so it’s not consistent, but I recently got a 20oz for $ 2.50! It used to be 12oz or 16oz. I’ve been coming pretty much since they opened and had very little customers. I took a hiatus because I’ve moved around some, but now I’m back, and hungry~! A little sad I don’t get special treatment anymore, when there was nobody, they remembered me and I got free thai tea once in awhile;-) But it’s fine~ I always take my friends here as well, best Thai food EVER afterall. If you’re the type to try everything at once, it’s going to get pricey, trust me, experience, haha. ***TIP: They recently got new menus! Pad thai: chewy, sweet, delicious! Crab cheese wontons: who knew crab and cheese went well together? Pretty good! The flavor can be overwhelming, so limit 2 – 4 per person! Angus garlic noodle: there’s a garlic angus appetizer, but i don’t recommend it because it’s the same price as the garlic angus noodle dish, so just get the one with noodle instead. It was pretty good; the beef was really garlicky, the way i like it, but a bit on the salty side. Massaman curry: really delicious! can’t go wrong with it; also a bit creamy.

I have passed by here countless times and have never stopped in this small strip plaza, neither have I noticed a Thai restaurant with«sushi» in its name(that’s a first) but unexpected like its name, this restaurant was a nice surprise! Drunken noodles were packed with flavor of the chili, mint, and basil. Chicken was cooked perfectly and tasted tender and not dry/over-cooked. I also got to try the Tom Yum soup with Shrimp — deliciously hot and sour. Service is pretty good and the modern décor is a nice touch. I’d definitely come back to try other dishes like their curry and noodle soups!

Let me start off by saying that I LOOOOOVE duck. So I came here with a friend and ordered the duck noodles. OH. MY. GOD. Most places, the noodle and broth are fine, but the skimp on the duck… NOTHERE! My bowl was fully loaded with duck(and not all the bony pieces either). Will definitely come back just for the duck noodles.
