Mai Thai Bistro

We eat here on a regular basis and the food is always pretty good. However it just took an hour and a half to get our pad Thai which is more than ridiculous. This will probably be the last time we order from this restaurant.

I come here often and the food is delicious. They have happy hour which is a plus. Nicely decorated, great for a dinner date as well

Food was average, nothing special to write home about really. The price was quite high for the quality and quantity of food.
I don’t think I’ll be coming back. Although they changed owner, quality has not changed unfortunately.

We love this place. We’ve eaten in the restaurant once and gotten take out from I them at least 10 – 12 times. It’s our go to food place. They have the best fried rice, it truly is amazing. We also usually get their pad see we with extra noodles because come on, let’s face it, you can never have enough noodles… ever! Their green curry is also amazing!
The only advise I have is double check your order before you leave the restaurant to make sure they got everything correct. Twice we had to go back because our order was wrong but it is so good we just deal with it and of course double check the order

Food was flavorful and delicious. The Tom Kah soup came in a gorgeous clay pot that never seemed to flicker out like other bowls.
We also had the yellow curry and the flavor was tasty and a good portion.
The server was good and very sweet but seemed confused and messed up our order a bit and over charged us for her mistake. We ordered a large rice, she forgot then brought us a small when we reminded her about our original order. When we explained that we ordered the large instead, she corrected the mistake by bringing it out but charged us for both. I think she may have been someone filling in as a favor because she kept telling the people at the table next to us «I dont know» when they asked questions on the menu. .
Regardless, the food is good and we will come again.

I ordered for pickup and they had my food ready in less than half an hour. The owner was watching the World Series and his beloved Mets on TV. Sparked up a conversation about baseball and sports. Cool and funny guy. Wished me on my ways after and then it was time to go home and eat this feast
Now I love great customer service, but ultimately it’s the food that makes or breaks these reviews. I ordered the Pad Thai and Penang Curry. The Pad Thai is probably the best in this part of OC. ¹⁰⁄₁₀. I’m so relieved to have found a good Pad Thai place finally. No need to drive to Anaheim anymore. The Penang Curry was also delicious. Not as good as the Pad Thai but it gets a 8.5÷10. Both dishes I’m going to be eating regularly here now going forward. My order came out to a little under $ 20. I like this spot and I think you will too. Can’t go wrong here

We had to dial the number 4 times to get through just to place an order. The phone kept hanging up on us. When we finally got thru, it was very painful placing our order. We were told it would take 40 – 50 minutes for delivery. After an hour and 10 minutes, again it took us about 8 calls to their number to get through to talk to someone, I couldn’t understand what the person was saying and didn’t know what was going on. Finally, she said that the driver left over 5 minutes before — we live less than 5 minutes away. I told her to cancel the order and that she needs to call the driver to cancel. She said she would, driver showed up 10 minutes later with our order and told home to takeout back because we cancelled. Horrible!!!

I knew the owners changed and they remodeled the place, but I didn’t realize there was another Unilocal page.
The remodeled place looks a lot nicer that before, and the menus are really nice. The food is a lot more consistent than it was before. I usually get the pad see ew, pad thai, spicy beef salad, and the fried rice. The pad see ew here is my favorite!
It’s more pricey than it used to be, but the quality is better so I guess it evens out.

Great tasting food and good service. Not much really to complain about this place.
